The Hormone Hostage knows that there are days in the month when all a man has to do is open his mouth and he takes his very life into his own hands!
This is a handy guide that should be as common as a driver's license in the wallet of every husband, boyfriend, or significant other!!
DANGEROUS: What's for dinner? SAFER: Can I help you with dinner? SAFEST: Where would you like to go for dinner? ULTRASAFE: Here, have some chocolate.
DANGEROUS: Are you wearing that? SAFER: Gee, you look good in brown. SAFEST: WOW! Look at you! ULTRASAFE: Here, have some chocolate.
DANGEROUS: What are you so worked up about? SAFER: Could we be overreacting? SAFEST: Here's fifty dollars. ULTRASAFE: Here, have some chocolate.
DANGEROUS: Should you be eating that? SAFER: You know, there are a lot of apples left. SAFEST: Can I get you a glass of wine with that? ULTRASAFE: ! Here, have some chocolate.
DANGEROUS: What did you do all day? SAFER: I hope you didn't overdo it today. SAFEST: I've always loved you in that robe! ULTRASAFE: Here, have some more chocolate.
Pass this onto all of your hormonal friends and those who might need a good laugh! Or men who need a warning!
And remember: Money talks...but chocolate sings.

Speaking the *dangerous* comments at any time of the month is rude. Men are hostage to their own hormones, too. Isn't this a topic for the "Worldy Board"?

There's humour and bad taste. I often fail to differentiate between them, and get into trouble. But I thought this one was one I wouldn't have posted.

Cheers,
I loved this! From a woman who has suffered from quite difficult PMS over the years, we have to laugh about it at our house! I always just alert everyone "it's time again", and then mostly keep my mouth SHUT! I spend a lot of time reading in my sitting room where it is quiet and snug! And my wonderful husband does a lot of holding me too! I even screen my calls and talk to no one that I don't want to talk to! And chocolate? Hmmm...yes, it works wonders when someone else is offering it! Somehow it's just not the same when I forage for it myself!
Ladies, if you can't laugh at this post, maybe you're taking yourselves way too seriously!
Maybe this post should have been under "Christian husbanding" or something! LOL!
Regards, Edy

Not my joke. An old Animal Science joke one of my professors said to a student who was complaining about her "husband" in class.

Dear John H, (so you won't be "dear john" again!) Hmmm...husbandry, husbanding....husband. What the heck! How did "he" get to be husband anyway?! Maybe there is more to the similarities between husbandry and husbanding that first appearances might reveal! LOL! In those terms, maybe we are not cows, but at least husbandettes! Edy
