...instead of asking the Holy Spirit to Guide and Teach you in the things of God. When did chuck say that? He's always going on about the Hebraic mindset/perspective instead of speaking of the Holy Spirits guidance and teachings. The Holy Spirit for chuckites is just a verb or a cop out. |

Do you really think that I think "a God" put me here to posses a Hebrew mind to teach you? You really have never understood a word I have ever said on the matter........ "Just throw away the Bible then! and nobody needs the Holy Spirit as our teacher. Who has 2000-4000 years Hebrews minds today! All of them are DEAD" Throw away YOUR bible, and go read some commentary from people who actually know what they are talking about.....this does not include Frank Strange, Got Questions ect, you have no basic understanding of any of the words in the above comment.

I have/trust the Holy Spirit and He leads me to Dr. Frank Stranges and his awesome Jesus Christ 21st century gospel message from the Dead Sea Scrolls, to share with the world. I appreciate gotquestions site, they have many good and interesting answers on all kinds of different Bible topics that make a lot of sense which I like to share with others. As I pointed out. Hypocritical, you are a prime example of being non exclusive. You fool yourself. |

Cessationism is not Biblical. It's one of many excuses believers make for a god who doesn't show up. ** God the Christ/Son showed up in the person Jesus for 33 1/2 years. Christ God showed up in the Garden of Eden and had fellowship with Adam and Eve, appeared in human form to talk to Abraham and Sarah about the birth of their promised son Isaac (Gen. Chapters 18-19). Christ/Gid appeared in a form of the son of man and stood in the fiery furnace with 3 friends of Daniel. What you mean God didn't show up? In the story told about god, god shows up. |

The thing is, wally, I do not believe that there were EVER any miracles performed by anybody, including Jesus. Can you see how it's not likely that I will ever be taken in by faith healers or snake handlers? That is not really the position you took/are defending over cessationism. Unless of course(most likely)you just took the contrarian viewpoint just to be contrarian.  You are the one who believes the miracles happened as written in the Bible, not me. You are the one who has called yourself a "cessationist" not me. My position is that your "cessationism" is not Biblical. Sure I have plenty of Ideas, I can admit that. You should read the scriptures from Hebraic perspective as it opens it up to all sorts of ideas that are applicable still today in making the world a better place....... I will say my Ideas are based in something grounded and I do not require, pixie dust, Frank Strange or a hollow Venus......I also dont need to rename my ideas as the Holy Spirit....... |

There is NOTHING slippery about it, Please don't tell me who to like and NOT to like. That is my choice and you are doing the same thing. Are you slippery too? Not telling you who to like. So please don’t tell other professing people in a derogative way, they are non-exclusive. Just remember your affection for Frank Stranges. Be appreciated if you didn’t rush in with judgement. And recording divisive tallies when other professing people on here, give ex’s the courtesy of allowing them to share their feelings, experiences, perceptions on a Proboard. When unconditional love is exercised by them. Just remember that.
I do that with Dr. Frank Stranges and others too. I want to be fair.

It seems to me you don't believe, know or trust in the Holy Spirit most of the time but you put your trust in having the Hebrewic mind instead to understand the Bible. I don't read that you rely on the Holy Spirit to guide you hardly at all. Jesus said to apostles about the work of the Holy Spirit and who he is in John 16: 7-15Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you. And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment: Of sin, because they believe not on me;
