If you keep on turn the other cheek every time they slap you 1000s times a day, you won't have a face left by the end of the day.  I don't believe Jesus wants the unbelievers to take advantage of His people because they take his teachings out of context. The Holy Spirit will help us to interpret the correct meaning of the teaching of Jesus. It was to do with the social pecking order......any time scripture gives you specific detail, ib this instance the "right cheek" there is something else going on..... YOUR holy spirit will never teach you this Nathan...... |

So it stands to reason, just who and what , is this person, with self proclaimed titles, that claims to be professing in the church? *** I was attending the 2x2 full time gospel meetings, Sunday morning meetings, Union meetings, Wed. Nights Bible studies for the last 5 years! Then when the Covid-19 appeared there was no meetings for quite awhile, people don't feel safe... Now, people and the friends are vaccinated, I feel safe to attend meetings again... I will be attending Wed. Bible sudies next week... So, you exes cant say I am NOT professing. So, I will not post for two hrs on Wed. Nights I will miss you all. |

Nathan, do you go to Sunday morning meeting? Chinese Whispers has said in at least 2 posts recently that you do not attend meetings and in one said that you certainly do not take the emblems. You did not respond to these comments which is so unlike you which makes it open to speculation. Do you attend Sunday morning meeting and do you take the emblems?
I can only attend the Wed. night Bible study for now...From Nathan is Wrong thread 25 October. |

Long story for new comers to get it all straighten out... The Wed. Night Bible studies will be next week. I thought about going but still uneasy about close contact with people in the same room... But now is a little safer with many people have been vaccinated in Oregon. I will let you all know how it went next Wed. Night Bible studies, started at 7 PM. I have to work on Sunday and don't get off work about 6PM meeting started at 4PM. I hope this clear things up for you exes, who don't attend meetings. |

Contradiction because you led us to believe you were going on Wednesdays but not Sundays, now you're saying you haven't been going Wednesdays. How long since you went to Sunday morning meeting? Around 5 years from your other posts, is that correct? No meetings since Covid-19! They shut it down... They had Sunday only but couldn't attend because of work. Before Covid-19 I attended meetings 5 years straight because I sold our business! And I had Sunday off. Now we got it back the new owners didn't want to run it. Back to 7 days a week. Hopefully, I will retire in a few years then back to meetings full time again. |
