Your mindset Nathan is of someone who is truly involved in a cult. Your false information by Frank Stranges further reinforces how easily you are influenced by conspiracy theories and false teaching. It is concerning how gullible you are. Frank Stranges claims he's been to Venus and seen Jesus there, and that God has showed him the Dead Sea scrolls shows have far you have strayed from reality. And claims that Richard Nixon and others have talked to Venusians are false. Do you wonder why very few believe these things. Surely that should wake you up. ** You and many unbelievers and doubting Thomas speak and write about things, events which you don't know about. You need to wake up! To 21st century reality world of Jesus Christ dealing with/helping humanity in today's world. Christ doesn't sit in heaven doing nothing! in this world ofchaos of World War I, WW II, and people are suffering horribly today. God and Christ care about humanity messy situations that they created themselves in the word today with the Viruses, famine, wars and deaths and They have sent the Holy Venusians and beings from other planets to help us for 6000 years! Even to our days and generation. Begs the question -Why did God and Christ create messy situations in the word today? Just repeating what you said. And we ask why we can’t necessarily rely on what was written some 2000 years ago. Obviously writing is fallible.

He is like a roaring lion walking and looking for people he might devour/take their lives/souls from the earth. God didn't create the messy nuclear of bombs! Nuclear power plants, nuclear melt down. Wars around the world, Oil, foods shortage. It's the military industrial complex that want to sell weapons, missiles, tanks, jets fighters, bombs and so on to kill and depopulation. The Illuminati/the seed of Cain= Satan's children are rulers of this planet that creating all these messes we have in the world! God and Christ sent his human looking Venusians angels from Venus, and beings from others planets to help mankind since 1930s during WW II, and warn the world NOT to play with nuclear bombs! The world leaders didn't take heed the warnings. So, now we have to live with a BIG mess we humans created. 2000 years gospels are still good and save people in our days! However, Jesus Dead Sea Scrolls message are for us today in our present condition.

1) Yes, I agree that Jesus saves. But, we still sin after being saved. We all need forgiveness during our life journey. I’m not saying that workers, priests, preachers etc can save anyone. Only Jesus saves. But, that verse in John 20:23 isn’t speaking of the Apostles preaching the gospel. It’s clearly speaking of forgiving sins. ~~ As long we as Christians who are LIVING in this mortal human bodies we continue to sins to the day we die. However, the blood of Jesus Christ will continue to cleanse us daily when we confess our sins to him and ask for His forgiveness.
Jesus said in John 6:63 it is the the Spirit that quicken the flesh profit nothing, the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit and they are eternal life.
The hearers received forgiveness of sins AFTER they heard the gospel, they believed and were SEALED with the Holy Spirit.
Paul wrote to the Christians in Eph. 1:13-14 In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise, 14 which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory.
2) If Jesus was given authority by the Father to forgive sins, it’s clear that Jesus gave his disciples authority to forgive sins. Forgiving sins isn’t the same as saving. IMO, the sins a Christian can remit are sins that are repented of. Sins a Christian cannot remit are sins that are not repented of. James 5:6 says, “ Therefore confess the sins to one another and pray for one another, so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous man being made effective prevails much.” No one can pardon another person that is unrepentant. But, if a person is repentant and confesses, it’s our obligation to forgive. And, God sees the repentance, the confession, the broken-heartedness of the repentant sinner; He also sees the fellow Christian who hears the ‘confession’ and offers grace (not condemnation or shunning). Forgiveness comes from repentance. It doesn’t necessarily come by getting our our knees and begging God for mercy. Forgiveness comes by expressing our grief over our sin(s) to God, Christ or another trusted Christian. At least that’s how I see it. ~~ Yes, I agree. We as Christians must learn how to forgive others who sinned against us. Jesus teaches in Matthew 6:14-15 "For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you: 15 but if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses."
God has forgiven us 1000s times then others have sins against us 10 times. Forgive others who sins against us that is the new nature which we receive when we are truly born again.
So, you agree that Christians can forgive sins!

Nathan, This is just a suggestion, but your posts are very long. Could I suggest that you just post one point at a time? It would probably be easier for others to reply to you if you simplified your posts.

Book of Revelation Explained
Revelation is first and foremost a revelation about Jesus Christ (1:1). The book depicts Him as the risen, glorified Son of God ministering among the churches (1:1). As "The faithful witness, the firstborn of the dead, and the ruler of the kings of the earth" (1:5); As "the Alpha and the Omega" (1:8); As the one "who is and who was and who is the come, the Almighty" (1:8); bible-studys.org/Discoverrevelation.com/Book%20of%20Revelation%20Explained.htmlThe Deity of ChristIn addition to Jesus’ specific claims about Himself, His disciples also acknowledged the deity of Christ. They claimed that Jesus had the right to forgive sins—something only God can do—as it is God who is offended by sin (Acts 5:31; Colossians 3:13; Psalm 130:4; Jeremiah 31:34). In close connection with this last claim, Jesus is also said to be the one who will “judge the living and the dead” (2 Timothy 4:1). Thomas cried out to Jesus, “My Lord and my God!” (John 20:28). Paul calls Jesus “great God and Savior” (Titus 2:13) and points out that prior to His incarnation Jesus existed in the “form of God” (Philippians 2:5-8). God the Father says regarding Jesus: “Your throne, O God, will last forever and ever” (Hebrews 1:8). John states that “in the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word [Jesus] was God” (John 1:1). Examples of Scriptures that teach the deity of Christ are many (see Revelation 1:17, 2:8, 22:13; 1 Corinthians 10:4; 1 Peter 2:6-8; Psalm 18:2, 95:1; 1 Peter 5:4; Hebrews 13:20), but even one of these is enough to show that Christ was considered to be God by His followers. Jesus is also given titles that are unique to YHWH (the formal name of God) in the Old Testament. The Old Testament title “redeemer” (Psalm 130:7; Hosea 13:14) is used of Jesus in the New Testament (Titus 2:13; Revelation 5:9). Jesus is called Immanuel—“God with us”—in Matthew 1. In Zechariah 12:10, it is YHWH who says, “They will look on me, the one they have pierced.” But the New Testament applies this to Jesus’ crucifixion (John 19:37; Revelation 1:7). If it is YHWH who is pierced and looked upon, and Jesus was the one pierced and looked upon, then Jesus is YHWH. Paul interprets Isaiah 45:22-23 as applying to Jesus in Philippians 2:10-11. Further, Jesus’ name is used alongside God’s in prayer “Grace and peace to you from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ” (Galatians 1:3; Ephesians 1:2). This would be blasphemy if Christ were not deity. The name of Jesus appears with God’s in Jesus’ commanded to baptize “in the name [singular] of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit” (Matthew 28:19; see also 2 Corinthians 13:14). Actions that can be accomplished only by God are credited to Jesus. Jesus not only raised the dead (John 5:21, 11:38-44) and forgave sins (Acts 5:31, 13:38), He created and sustains the universe (John 1:2; Colossians 1:16-17). This becomes even clearer when one considers YHWH said He was alone during creation (Isaiah 44:24). Further, Christ possesses attributes that only deity can have: eternality (John 8:58), omnipresence (Matthew 18:20, 28:20), omniscience (Matthew 16:21), and omnipotence (John 11:38-44). Now, it is one thing to claim to be God or to fool someone into believing it is true, and something else entirely to prove it to be so. Christ offered many miracles as proof of His claim to deity. Just a few of Jesus’ miracles include turning water to wine (John 2:7), walking on water (Matthew 14:25), multiplying physical objects (John 6:11), healing the blind (John 9:7), the lame (Mark 2:3), and the sick (Matthew 9:35; Mark 1:40-42), and even raising people from the dead (John 11:43-44; Luke 7:11-15; Mark 5:35). Moreover, Christ Himself rose from the dead. Far from the so-called dying and rising gods of pagan mythology, nothing like the resurrection is seriously claimed by other religions, and no other claim has as much extra-scriptural confirmation. In conclusion, Christ claimed He was YHWH, that He was deity (not just “a god” but the one true God); His followers (Jews who would have been terrified of idolatry) believed Him and referred to Him as God. Christ proved His claims to deity through miracles, including the world-altering resurrection. No other hypothesis can explain these facts. Yes, the deity of Christ is biblical. www.gotquestions.org/deity-of-Christ.html2) What did Jesus mean when He said "I AM" that "I AM" God/Yahweh? Jesus, in response to the Pharisees’ question “Who do you think you are?” said, “‘Your father Abraham rejoiced at the thought of seeing my day; he saw it and was glad." You are not yet fifty years old," the Jews said to him, and you have seen Abraham!" I tell you the truth,’ Jesus answered, "before Abraham was born, I am!" At this, they picked up stones to stone him, but Jesus hid himself, slipping away from the temple grounds (John 8:56–59). The violent response of the Jews to Jesus’ “I AM” statement indicates they clearly understood what He was declaring—that He was the eternal God incarnate. Jesus was equating Himself with the "I AM" title God gave Himself in Exodus 3:14.
If Jesus had merely wanted to say He existed before Abraham’s time, He would have said, “Before Abraham, I was.” The Greek words translated “was,” in the case of Abraham, and “am,” in the case of Jesus, are quite different. The words chosen by the Spirit make it clear that Abraham was “brought into being,” but Jesus existed eternally (see John 1:1).
There is no doubt that the Jews understood what He was saying because they took up stones to kill Him for making Himself equal with God (John 5:18). Such a statement, if not true, was blasphemy and the punishment prescribed by the Mosaic Law was death (Leviticus 24:11–14). But Jesus committed no blasphemy; He was and is God, the second Person of the Godhead, equal to the Father in every way.
Jesus said to the Jews, "I will tell you the truth.... Before Abraham was born, I am!" some misunderstanding this verse to mean that Jesus was just claiming preexistence before Abraham. The context, however, shows that Jesus was pointing not only to his preexistence before Abraham but also to His Eternally! After all, the term I am! points back to God's name in Exodus 3:14 a name that conveys the idea of Eternal self-existence. Yahweh (the I AM that I AM) never came into being at a point in time, for He has always existed. To know Yahweh is to know the Eternal one.
www.gotquestions.org/I-AM.htmlIn other words, Abraham's existence was created and finite, beginning at a point in time, but Christ's existence NEVER began, is uncreated and infinite, and is therefore ETERNAL. God the Father, Christ/the Son are distinct Persons within the unity of the ONE Godhead. (John 3:16,17; 7:29; 8:55; 10:15;11:41,42) To make the point again in his conversation, “Before Abraham was “I Am” (Jn. 8:58). Jesus is saying “Yahweh is my name.” He is not saying that he existed from or before Abrahams time. Jesus has made a definitive statement that before Abraham came into existence or was born He (Jesus) was there I have existed before all ages, before anything was created. It speaks of an eternal existence without respect to time of which only God can exist. Psalm 90:2: "From everlasting to everlasting thou art God."
We can only come to the conclusion that the “I AM” statements of Jesus were intentional, communicating what they were familiar with from Old Testament teachings and practices to prove the deity of Jesus the Christ to those who could hear his spiritual speech. I AM is his name forever (Heb. Hayah ashur hayah, Gr. ego eimei; Exod. 3:14-15 God said to Moses, "I AM WHO I AM." 'The LORD God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, This is My name forever, and this is My memorial to all generations.” The ancient Hebrew language that the Old Testament was written in did not have vowels in its alphabet. In written form, ancient Hebrew was a consonant-only language. In the original Hebrew, God’s name transliterates to YHWH (sometimes written in the older style as YHVH). This is known as the tetragrammaton (meaning “four letters”). Because of the lack of vowels, Bible scholars debate how the tetragrammaton YHWH was pronounced. The tetragrammaton consists of four Hebrew letters: yodh, he, waw, and then he repeated. Some versions of the Bible translate the tetragrammaton as “Yahweh” or “Jehovah”; most translate it as “LORD” (all capital letters). Contrary to what some believe, Jehovah is not the Divine Name revealed to Israel. The name Jehovah is a product of mixing different words and different alphabets of different languages. Due to a fear of accidentally taking God’s name in vain (Leviticus 24:16), the Jews basically quit saying it out loud altogether. Instead, when reading Scripture aloud, the Jews substituted the tetragrammaton YHWH with the word Adonai (“Lord”). Even in the Septuagint (the Greek translation of the Old Testament), the translators substituted Kurios (“Lord”) for the Divine Name. Eventually, the vowels from Adonai (“Lord”) or Elohim (“God”) found their way in between the consonants of YHWH, thus forming YaHWeH. But this interpolation of vowels does not mean that was how God’s name was originally pronounced. In fact, we aren’t entirely sure if YHWH should have two syllables or three. Any number of vowel sounds can be inserted within YHWH, and Jewish scholars are as uncertain of the real pronunciation as Christian scholars are. Jehovah is actually a much later (probably 16th-century) variant. The word Jehovah comes from a three-syllable version of YHWH, YeHoWeH. The Y was replaced with a J (although Hebrew does not even have a J sound) and the W with a V, plus the extra vowel in the middle, resulting in JeHoVaH. These vowels are the abbreviated forms of the imperfect tense, the participial form, and the perfect tense of the Hebrew being verb (English is)—thus the meaning of Jehovah could be understood as “He who will be, is, and has been.” So, what is God’s Name, and what does it mean? The most likely choice for how the tetragrammaton was pronounced is “YAH-way,” “YAH-weh,” or something similar. The name Yahweh refers to God’s self-existence. Yahweh is linked to how God described Himself in Exodus 3:14, “God said to Moses, ‘I AM WHO I AM. This is what you are to say to the Israelites: “I AM has sent me to you.” God’s name is a reflection of His being. God is the only self-existent or self-sufficient Being. Only God has life in and of Himself. That is the essential meaning of the tetragrammaton, YHWH. www.gotquestions.org/YHWH-tetragrammaton.html~~ Jesus The Great " I AM " God/Yahweh from the Dead Sea Scrolls caves
I, the Lord God of creation, who was and who is and who shall always be the one true God, the mind, the very center of the Universe, speaks to your own heart. The words that I have spoken to my prophets Moses and others were that he should recognize that the great “I Am.” filled his being with the power and the authority to open his mouth in my name and to proclaim his words as a living words that I placed deeply within him. I have in times past spoken through the mouths of my prophets and then through the mouths of my apostles. Now the times and seasons are approaching, as are the reasons, when my words shall again be spoken by my obedient prophets and apostles. Their words shall be my words and their deeds that shall be my deeds, because I have spoken this thing before the World was ever formed. Those words that I now speak shall be hidden for a season and then shall be revealed in the last times
I shall cause the Earth to quake and the sunlight, which represents the new dawning, shall shine brightly upon those who are appointed to carry my words from the darkness of the caves to the bright sunlight of my new revelation to all mankind ... and mankind shall read and they shall study those words and they shall find that they are the words that will cause an awakening to occur in the minds of mankind. It has been said in times past that I am in the wind and I am in the fire and I am into the waters. These words are not true. The truth of this matter is that I am the wind. I am the fire. I am the water. I am in everything and in everything that exists. When you touch the mountain, you touch me. When you are touching the water, you are touching me. When you touch the fire, you are touching me. I am the Lord of the Universe and there is not one place that I am not. I am not in the flowers, the plants, the fruit of the land, but I am the flowers. I am the plants. I am the fruit of the land. Mankind will climb into the heavens. I am not in the heavenly, but I am the heavenly. When I created man from the dust of the Earth, I was the dust of the Earth and I was and am the breath of life that causes mankind to live.
Say not that the Lord your God is in the heavens or on the Earth. I am the heavens and I am the Earth. Now you have received the true revelation of my word, which was spoken to you in times past. The word said that I am everywhere present. I am omnipresent. I am not part of myself, but rather I am the whole of the Universe. Wherever you look, wherever you come or go, whatever you do or say, I am there in the midst of you because I am not only in, but rather I am you! It shall be written in the future that man is the universe. I say to you that I do not dwell in the universe of mankind, but I am that Universe of Mankind, and there is no separation whatsoever. These words that I have spoken to you at this time and in this place are that you might believe the truth of the message that as my Father is one with me so is the Spirit one with me. Now I am likewise in you and you are in me and that means I am one and you are with me. Have I not spoken these words in the past that I am in you and you are in me? (John 17:21) Jesus said, " That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me." Let this testimony be with you forever and forever, as we together traverse the streets of that sojourn from dawn to night. Be at peace and look deeply within yourself and you will find me. Again I have spoken the words in the past that you are indeed gods. I am your God. This revelation is of utmost importance and you must believe the whole truth as I have spoken it in your pure hearing. I say to you, allow the vibrations of your spirit, your inner ear, be unstopped and hear what the Spirit says to you at this hour. I am the center of your universe, because I am the whole of your universe. Know this, for this is the word of the living God, the Creator of all things which are. In time and seasons to come this word will be revealed to you and you shall behold the brightness of this truth, and you shall say, “This is the light for which I have long awaited. This is the revelation that will hold and maintain me through every experience of life.” Beware, there are those who would destroy this truth, but they shall not be able to destroy this truth because the truth abides in you and you abide in the truth. I have spoken in times past. And I have said that the truth shall cause many to walk in freedom, out of darkness and satanic bondage. And they shall have no further influence or rule over you. I have spoken these truths by the words of my lips and these words are true. Accept them and you shall live in peace, in joy and in victory over all things. © Julie Ann Stranges www.nicufo.org/videos.htm~~ Jesus Christ the I AM that I AM Almighty God. Nathan: John the apostle wrote it so clearly in John 1:1-3 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God and the Word WAS God. He was in the World, and the World was MADE by Him, and the world knew him NOT. And the Word was made flesh and dwell among us. The Word was WITH God, and the Word WAS God. Who do you SAY the Word is? Jesus! Read Rev. 19:11-16 And I/John saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war. His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself. And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God. And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean. And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God. And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, King Of Kings, And Lord Of Lords. Jesus said in 95 A.D. Revelation 1:8 “I am the Alpha and the Omega,” says the Lord God, “who is, and who was, and who is to come, the Almighty.” Rev. 11:16-17 And the twenty-four elders, who were seated on their thrones before God, fell on their faces and Worshiped God, saying: “We give thanks to you, Lord God Almighty,
the One who is and who was,
because you have taken your great power and have begun to reign. Rev. 21:6,7 He/Christ that sat on the throne said unto me, "It is done, I am the Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end." I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely. He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be MY Son."
Revelation chapter 4:8-11 “Holy, Holy, Holy is the Lord God Almighty, who was, and is, and is to come.” Revelation chapter 5:9-13 And they sang a new song, saying: “You are worthy to take the scroll and to open its seals, because you were slain, and has Redeemed us to God by thy BLOOD, out of every tribe and language and people and nation. You have made them to be a kingdom and priests to serve our God, and they will reign on the earth.”
Then I looked and heard the voice of many angels, numbering thousands upon thousands, and ten thousand times ten thousand. They encircled the throne and the living creatures and the elders. In a loud voice they were saying: “Worthy is the Lamb, who was slain, to receive power and wealth and wisdom and strength and honor and glory and praise!” Then I heard every creature in heaven and on earth and under the earth and on the sea, and all that is in them, saying: “To him who sits on the throne/God the Father and to the Lamb, be praise and honor and glory and power, for ever andI ever!” Natha, as "the Alpha and the Omega" (1:8); As the one "who is and who was and who is the come, the Almighty" (1:8) the passage doesn’t say it’s Jesus speaking..! It’s ambiguous as to whether it’s the Father or the Son speaking. But, it really doesn’t matter who it is, because whether it’s the Father or the Son, one should take all of scripture into consideration . Jesus was ELEVATED to the divine nature, which means he was not always divine. Christians shall also share in the divine nature. But, just because we will ‘be like him (Jesus) doesn’t make us equal to God, any more than it makes Jesus equal to the Father. Jesus does share his Father’s name, but that’s because he’s the 1st born Son. My brother shares my dad’s name (my brother is a junior), but that doesn’t mean he’s equal to my dad. My dad will always have existed before my brother. My dad is the one who ‘beget’ my brother. Without mr dad, my brother wouldn’t exist! It’s the same with Jesus and the Father. The Father has always existed; He begot Jesus; He ELEVATED Jesus to the divine nature; He SHARES His glory with Jesus; and He will do the same with the Church (in due time). However, when Jesus has accomplished his mission the Bible says, “And when all things shall be subdued unto him (Jesus), then shall the Son also himself be subject unto him that put all things under him, that God may be all in all.” Please read the entire chapter of 1 Corinthians 15. It, as all scripture, shows that the Son is subjective to the Father. If one looks at the relationship between the Father and the Son in human terms (which is how the Bible describes the relationship), then that relationship makes sense. But, if one attempts to make more of it than the Bible reveals (such as The Council of Nicea did), then the logic becomes very cloudy.

11:16-17 And the twenty-four elders, who were seated on their thrones before God, fell on their faces and Worshiped God, saying: “We give thanks to you, Lord God Almighty,

because you have taken your great power and have begun to reign. Rev. 21:6,7 He/Christ that sat on the throne said unto me, "It is done, I am the Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end." You have made them to be a kingdom and priests to serve our God, and they will reign on the earth.”
Then I looked and heard the voice of many angels, numbering thousands upon thousands, and ten thousand times ten thousand. They encircled the throne and the living creatures and the elders. So, you agree that Christians can forgive sins! Yes, Christians must forgive each other sins and those who are NOT Christians also, then our sins can be forgiven by God and Christ. ONLY God and Christ forgive our sins so the born again Christians can enter heaven.

www.gotquestions.org/I-AM.htmlIn other words, Abraham's existence was created and finite, beginning at a point in time, but Christ's existence NEVER began, is uncreated and infinite, and is therefore ETERNAL.
In a loud voice they were saying: “Worthy is the Lamb, who was slain, to receive power and wealth and wisdom and strength and honor and glory and praise!” Then I heard every creature in heaven and on earth and under the earth and on the sea, and all that is in them, saying: “To him who sits on the throne/God the Father and to the Lamb, be praise and honor and glory and power, for ever andI ever!” Nathan, as "the Alpha and the Omega" (1:8); As the one "who is and who was and who is the come, the Almighty" (1:8) the passage doesn’t say it’s Jesus speaking..! God the Father, Christ and Holy Spirit are ETERNAL Yahweh Godhead!
Christ/the I AM that I AM God in the Old Testament, who later begotten by God the Father 2000 years ago in the person Jesus, who died for our sins so we can enter heaven after death.

So, you agree that Christians can forgive sins! Yes, Christians must forgive each other sins and those who are NOT Christians also, then our sins can be forgiven by God and Christ. ONLY God and Christ forgive our sins so the born again Christians can enter heaven.Someone else cannot forgive our sins. Most of our sins are hidden and others don't know our sins. We can forgive those who trespass against us which is completely different from forgiving someone of their sin.

I understand what you are saying. I don’t agree, but I understand. The only way someone could truly understand your definition of God would be to look at Him (or Them, since there are 3) as a ‘collective’ (many members but 1 collective); or you could say God is a Family (many persons, but 1 family).

Yes, Christians must forgive each other sins and those who are NOT Christians also, then our sins can be forgiven by God and Christ. ONLY God and Christ forgive our sins so the born again Christians can enter heaven. Someone else cannot forgive our sins. Most of our sins are hidden and others don't know our sins. We can forgive those who trespass against us which is completely different from forgiving someone of their sin. gotquestion.com does a better job than I can explain it. First of all, we must accept Jesus gospel of our Salvation and believe in Christ Jesus our Savior/Redeemer, who died for our sins. Then, we must forgive the sins of others who trespass of their sins against us.
The Bible never gives a “dictionary” definition of forgiveness, but it shows us many examples of it. The greatest of all examples is the forgiveness of God. Although the following passage does not use the word forgive, it describes the concept of God’s forgiveness perfectly: Psalm 103:8–12: The Lord is compassionate and gracious, slow to anger, abounding in love. He will not always accuse, nor will he harbor his anger forever; he does not treat us as our sins deserve or repay us according to our iniquities. For as high as the heavens are above the earth, so great is his love for those who fear him; as far as the east is from the west, so far has he removed our transgressions from us. It is important to note that forgiveness operates in the realm of sin. In the majority of the passages in the Bible that contain the word forgive or forgiveness, sin is mentioned. The following are typical examples: Genesis 50:17: I ask you to forgive your brothers the sins and the wrongs they committed in treating you so badly. Now please forgive the sins of the servants of the God of your father. Exodus 32:32: But now, please forgive their sin. Leviticus 4:35: In this way the priest will make atonement for them for the sin they have committed, and they will be forgiven. 1 Samuel 25:28: Please forgive your servant’s presumption. Matthew 12:31: And so I tell you, every kind of sin and slander can be forgiven, but blasphemy against the Spirit will not be forgiven. Luke 5:20: When Jesus saw their faith, he said, “Friend, your sins are forgiven.” For a person to find true forgiveness, he or she must admit the sin. This is called confession. If a person tries to pass off sin as a mere mistake, human failing, or temporary lapse of judgment; or if he or she simply denies the sin altogether, it is a barrier to forgiveness. 1 John 1:8–10: If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness. If we claim we have not sinned, we make him out to be a liar and his word is not in us. God forgives sin, yet this does not mean that He simply “looks the other way” or “sweeps it under the rug.” The penalty for sin is death (Romans 6:23), and that penalty must be paid. In the Old Testament, God allowed for a sacrificial animal to take the place of the sinner. Leviticus 5:15–16 says, “When anyone is unfaithful to the Lord by sinning unintentionally in regard to any of the Lord’s holy things, they are to bring to the Lord as a penalty a ram from the flock, one without defect and of the proper value in silver, according to the sanctuary shekel. It is a guilt offering. They must make restitution for what they have failed to do in regard to the holy things, pay an additional penalty of a fifth of its value and give it all to the priest. The priest will make atonement for them with the ram as a guilt offering, and they will be forgiven.” The writer of Hebrews observes, “The law requires that nearly everything be cleansed with blood, and without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness” (Hebrews 9:22). However, the blood of sacrificial animals did not actually pay for sin. It simply postponed the judgment until a better sacrifice could be offered to pay the full penalty of sin and make forgiveness possible. Hebrews 10 explains this in depth, but the following excerpts from that chapter outline the flow of the argument: The law is only a shadow of the good things that are coming—not the realities themselves. For this reason it can never, by the same sacrifices repeated endlessly year after year, make perfect those who draw near to worship. Otherwise, would they not have stopped being offered? For the worshipers would have been cleansed once for all, and would no longer have felt guilty for their sins. But those sacrifices are an annual reminder of sins. It is impossible for the blood of bulls and goats to take away sins. (Hebrews 10:1–4) Day after day every priest stands and performs his religious duties; again and again he offers the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins. But when this priest had offered for all time one sacrifice for sins, he sat down at the right hand of God. (Hebrews 10:11–12) “This is the covenant I will make with them after that time, says the Lord. I will put my laws in their hearts, and I will write them on their minds.” Then he adds: “Their sins and lawless acts I will remember no more.” And where these have been forgiven, sacrifice for sin is no longer necessary. (Hebrews 10:16–18) In order for God to forgive us, Jesus gave Himself as the sacrifice for sin. Jesus alluded to that sacrifice at the Last Supper when He told His disciples, “This is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins” (Matthew 26:28). After the resurrection, the apostles carried the message of forgiveness through Jesus Christ throughout the world, preaching to both Jews and Gentiles:
Acts 10:43: All the prophets testify about him that everyone who believes in him receives forgiveness of sins through his name. Acts 13:38: Therefore, my friends, I want you to know that through Jesus the forgiveness of sins is proclaimed to you. Ephesians 1:7: In [Christ] we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God’s grace. So God forgives people on the basis of the sacrifice of Christ. The only requirement is that sinful people confess their sin, turn from it, and trust in Jesus Christ as Savior. Once a person has experienced the forgiveness of God, he or she is then able (and responsible) to forgive others. “Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you” (Colossians 3:13). In fact, those who refuse to forgive betray the fact that they do not understand how much of their own sin they need to have forgiven. Christians should be willing to forgive people who have sinned against them. Every person has wronged God far more than they have been wronged by other people. Jesus illustrates the point in Matthew 18:21–35: Then Peter came to Jesus and asked, “Lord, how many times shall I forgive my brother or sister who sins against me? Up to seven times?” Jesus answered, “I tell you, not seven times, but seventy-seven times. “Therefore, the kingdom of heaven is like a king who wanted to settle accounts with his servants. As he began the settlement, a man who owed him ten thousand bags of gold was brought to him. Since he was not able to pay, the master ordered that he and his wife and his children and all that he had be sold to repay the debt. At this the servant fell on his knees before him. ‘Be patient with me,’ he begged, ‘and I will pay back everything.’ The servant’s master took pity on him, canceled the debt and let him go. But when that servant went out, he found one of his fellow servants who owed him a hundred silver coins. He grabbed him and began to choke him. ‘Pay back what you owe me!’ he demanded. His fellow servant fell to his knees and begged him, ‘Be patient with me, and I will pay it back. But he refused. Instead, he went off and had the man thrown into prison until he could pay the debt. When the other servants saw what had happened, they were outraged and went and told their master everything that had happened. Then the master called the servant in. ‘You wicked servant,’ he said, ‘I canceled all that debt of yours because you begged me to. Shouldn’t you have had mercy on your fellow servant just as I had on you?’ In anger his master handed him over to the jailers to be tortured, until he should pay back all he owed. This is how my heavenly Father will treat each of you unless you forgive your brother or sister from your heart. We often hear the phrase forgive and forget, and this can be misleading. As a rejoinder to this phrase, sometimes we hear, “I’ll forgive, but I will never forget.” To forgive and forget does not mean that a person who has been wronged develops some kind of sanctified amnesia. A person who has been abused will never forget that it happened. A person who has suffered from an adulterous spouse will always remember that experience. A parent who has had a child abducted will probably think about that crime every day he or she spends on earth. Yet, it is possible for each of these people who have been sinned against to forgive and also to forget, as long as the biblical definition of forget is in view. In the Bible, remembering and forgetting do not have to do with retention of information in the brain. In Genesis 8:1, after the flood, “God remembered Noah.” Does this imply that for a while God had forgotten about Noah, misplaced him among the flood waters, and then one day He remembered and thought He had better check on him? No, the biblical concept of remembering has to do with “choosing to act,” and forgetting means “refusing to act” on the basis of something. When the Bible says God “remembered” Noah, it means that God chose to act on Noah’s behalf and sent a wind to help the waters recede more rapidly. God promises that, under the New Covenant, “I will forgive their wickedness and will remember their sins no more” (Jeremiah 31:34; cf. Hebrews 8:12; 10:17). God does not forget that people have sinned, but, when He forgives, He chooses not to act on the basis of those sins. It is similar to the sentiment expressed in 1 Corinthians 13:5 where “love keeps no record of wrongs.” In the phrase forgive and forget, the two terms are really synonyms. Both mean that the person who has forgiven will not continue to hold that sin against the wrongdoer or take it into account in future interactions. A person may remember that it happened, but he or she can choose not to act on it—that is biblical forgetting. Many wonder about forgiving people who have sinned but have not confessed, repented, or asked for forgiveness. Sometimes in court, the victims of a crime will get to speak to the perpetrator before the sentence is passed. Often the victims will tell how the crime has impacted them and ask the judge to impose the strictest sentence. But, on occasion, the victim will say to the perpetrator, “I forgive you.” Is this forgiveness valid if the convicted criminal has not confessed and asked for forgiveness? The answer is both “yes” and “no.” On one hand, the victim often forgives the criminal so that he or she will not be eaten up by hatred for the criminal. The forgiveness granted by the victim in court does not absolve the criminal from any legal penalties, so the state is still right to prosecute. On the other hand, God forgives people when they confess their sin and ask for forgiveness; forgiveness only comes through faith in Christ, which involves a spiritual transformation. In the courtroom example, even if the victim “forgives” the criminal, there can never be the establishment or restoration of a relationship unless the criminal confesses his sin and actually seeks forgiveness. A person should always be willing to forgive every time forgiveness is requested, as Jesus taught. It goes without saying that on some of those occasions the request may be insincere, or, even if sincere, the person will commit the same offense against us again at a later time. After all, isn’t this what we do to God, and isn’t that how He forgives us? In some cases the one who has been sinned against is right to simply “let it go,” even if forgiveness has not been requested, and in other cases the one sinned against needs to wait until the offending party has confessed and asked for forgiveness, so that the relationship can be restored. This is the principle behind church discipline, as outlined in Matthew 18:15–17. If the confrontation of the sinner brings about confession, then reconciliation and forgiveness are offered. If the confrontation is unsuccessful, excommunication from the church is the final result. As a general rule regarding petty slights and offenses in the family and in the church, a person should let them go—“turn the other cheek,” as Jesus put it (Matthew 5:39). However, if the offense is such that turning the cheek is not possible, the offended party is obligated to go talk to the offender about it. Under no circumstance does one have the right to harbor resentment, nurture bitterness, or gossip about the offense. Here are some questions to ponder in relation to forgiveness: • Have I confessed my sin and received God’s forgiveness? • Is there anyone whom I have sinned against and from whom I need to ask forgiveness? • Is there anyone who has sinned against me and has asked me for forgiveness, but I have refused to forgive? • Is there anyone I am holding a grudge against for past wrongs? • If there is an unresolved issue, will I simply “let it go,” or will I go talk to the offender about it? (Continuing to hold a grudge is not a biblical option!) • Would I be willing to forgive if the offender asked me for forgiveness?

Christ/the I AM that I AM God in the Old Testament, who later begotten by God the Father 2000 years ago in the person Jesus, who died for our sins so we can enter heaven after death.
Christ/God in the Old Testament and Jesus the man/God in the New Testament are the same being/Person or Deity.
Christ/God and the Holy Spirit/God have always subject to God the Father. God the Father is the God of the Most High. God the Father is NOT the Son, the Son is NOT God the Father or the Holy Spirit. Christ has always been God like unto God the Father from Eternity. Christ's Spirit/Deity or His God nature has always STAY the same even when He lived in the Body of Jesus while on earth.
I understand what you are saying. I don’t agree, but I understand. The only way someone could truly understand your definition of God would be to look at Him (or Them, since there are 3) as a ‘collective’ (many members but 1 collective); or you could say God is a Family (many persons, but 1 family). One Godhead but consist of 3 Father, Christ/Son and Holy Spirit. One Family but many members exist in the family such as God, Christ, Holy Spirit, angels, sons and daughters= God's family.

I don’t see how forgiving trespasses is different than forgiving sin. Remitting trespasses is the same as forgiving sin also. I’ve been taught that there are 3 types of sin (in general): 1) sins against God. 2) sins against another person. 3) sins against ones own self. We cannot forgive sins against God; only He can do that. We can forgive sins when the trespass is done against us, because that sin is against people. We can forgive sins against our own self, when repentance is applied (damaging our body through abuse for one example). Secret sin? There’s no such a thing. God sees it. I tend to think that if I committed sin against another person (hypothetically I stole their dog), my confession to God would be useless, unless I confess to that person also, and rectify the situation. So, not all sin can be confessed to God. We have to interact with other humans that are affected by our sin. Now, initially, when one comes to believe and accept the Gospel, I know God wipes the slate clean. But, to be an overcomer on the Way; to truly live at peace; to be truly forgiven if our sins, we need to confess them to others, and seek their forgiveness. I don’t think what I’m saying is unreasonable; nor do I think that confession is a requirement for salvation (we’re saved by grace); but, I also know that there’s nothing hidden that won’t be revealed eventually; and although we’re saved by Grace, there will be degrees of rewards, etc.

And that is we are SAVED by the the grace of God and Christ NOT by our own goodness we have done! Our goodness, good works are filthy rags before God, ONLY Christ Jesus death on Calvary Cross SAVE us that is the grace of God to us humans. 2x2 Sunday morning worship meetings is another way of confessing/Testimonies with each other sins and to God and to one another.... Sharing with those in the meetings our victories, failures and so on. We can confesss our own sins to God and ask for His forgiveness in our own private places. Sins against God must be forgiven through hearing and believing in the gospel Jesus SAVES by His true servants and followers whom the Godhead sent into the world.

WARNING. THIS IS A FAKE DEAD SEA SCROLL.

But the humans have an eternal souls. The animals died then that is the end for them, the humans souls are eternal like Godhead's Spirit= are eternal, it can't die.
