Today they tested the meeting.
1 Outsider professed.
1 Little about eight year old boy professed he lost his mother at four.
1 Returner professed, His ex-wife's mother was shot and killed(about 30 years ago) during a bank robbery where she was a teller a few miles away from where meeting was tonight.

How did the outsider come to go to / find out about meetings? Through one of the friends. Not sure about how they are connected though. The friend is my old piano teachers ex-son-in-law. |

I agree with openingact34!
At that age an eight year old who professes does not have the maturity to really understand what or why he is doing that!
Losing his mother at four years old has already set his emotions into a whirlpool and played havoc with his poor brain.
If the workers have any understanding of that they will gently tell him it might b a good idea for him to relax and wait awhile.

At that age an eight year old who professes does not have the maturity to really understand what or why he is doing that!

We had a little girl at about Eight also profess about four/five years ago and still going strong. Her testimonies are deeper than some that have professed fifty years. It really depends on the child. |

Actually all people know that they are "vulnerable" and that is the reason that they created "gods" who they believed would be powerful enough to protect them.
Actually we are "vulnerable" to nearly all of our environment and unable to control most aspects of it.
ourselves so we wanted something or some one to advocate for us.
The very recent example is Covid-19.
Another is climate change.

When I was in the work, we tested the gospel meetings and WE don't know God and Holy Spirit have been working behind the scene. If a child like 8-10 years old stands up we can't say to sit down because you are NOT ready. We will try to ask the parents to try to help and guide the child in the right direction, read his/her Bible, pray and ask God for help whenever.

Amen! Dan. I have seen children at the age of 8 professed and it had saved them many sorrows, for NOT wanting to be in the world, tried worldly things like drugs and be with rowdy friends which lead them astray from serving God.
Heaven forbid that we should have rowdy friends. And of course all Jon professing children do drugs, it's just what they do.

In waiting, they just suffer further trauma convinced that they are unsaved and vulnerable to being tortured forever and ever by the loving heavenly Father if they die while waiting to be allowed to profess. |

Being bound to a religious system with habitual performance of rituals and traditions being the only way one can avoid "hell" a western religous invention born out of ignorance of a foreign culture is not rest. It's being handed over to Molech. It is the very opposite of what you are suggesting. Vulnerable people need Grace Compassion ect, not religion and its bondage. |

That comment is highly prejudice. We all know what you mean by "serving God", and conditioning people to keep their children somewhat isolated from other kids and activities just so kids can perform religious rituals is bondage and nothing to boast in Nathan. You ought to be ashamed of conditioning such young children into making a decision that they have no idea about based on your own ignorance. In short you should never have been given any authority as you don't know what you are actually doing to people in regards to religious bondage. |
