www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z6xj8IEFfZ0About Eleven minutes long Hosted by Anthony Brain Logan Uh oh store(s) in the Holy Land of NZ to "temporarily" ban knives and scissors while they decide to make it permanent or not after knife attack. Uh oh The most professional Police force on the planet blasted the guy to death and he was a minority(Sri Lankan). Just one more brick in that little prison called safety.

The guy in the video needs to be better informed. The guy who knifed people went to NZ as a student then claimed refugee status and forged documents. He had spent a lot of time in jail while he was there and was in the process of being deported. He was under police surveillance and had only just got out of jail a few weeks before.
Imagine if the guy had a gun, he would have gunned down numerous people, not just injured 6 or 7 with a knife of which most are doing fine.
Great that they're taking weapons such as knives off shelves and secondly locking down when the virus has been discovered. Imagine if it was the USA, numerous people being gunned down and thousands dying of covid. Good on NZ for protecting it's citizens.

Americans, those that actually know anything about countries outside America, and those that don't think that NZ is part of Australia think it's a wee island where we all know each other & get around in grass skirts. We got to chatting with a lovley couple in LA a few years back, & when we said we were from NZ the guy said deadpan serious "oh, do you know Ken? Tall guy, sandy hair" I'm like, yeah, he's from our village. I realise our population is around 10% of California, but 5 million is still 5 million. I'm not sure what you're trying to prove wally, that isolated incident happened 300km from my home & I'm still going to go to bed tonight with street level windows open & feel completely safe.

What if someone uses a crowbar, a baseball bat, garden tool, or a hammer as a weapon? Are the folks in NZ willing to surrender a lot of freedom in the name of safety?
And if there's a lock down with every new variant of covid, are you prepared to be imprisoned for a few more years?
By now, you've got to be the most unproductive people on earth; "New Zealand’s economy Gross domestic product (GDP) fell by 12.2 percent in the June 2020 quarter, the largest quarterly fall recorded since the current series began in 1987, as the COVID-19 restrictions in place through the quarter impacted economic activity."

Unfortunately she also has Trump like supporters and can do no wrong in their eyes. The fact that it appears that nobody in NZ has died from this deadly new variant proves her for the fool that she is. 500 people died from the flu in NZ in 2017, that was completely normal apparently.

Covid-denying Yahoo's in US Covid hotspots are presently jamming local ICUs and hospital hallways to the point of near collapse of the hospital system. Some of the collateral damage includes children and adults with non-covid emergencies, including cancers and heart conditions, and traumatic injuries who can't get the care they need because the Covid Yahoos are occupying so many beds.
And don't kid yourself, @dan, when the Yahoo's suddenly realize Covid 19 is real after all, and that they are probably going to die of it, they reportedly weep with anguish that they didn't take it more seriously when they could have made a difference in the outcome.
I believe these are not issues in New Zealand.

When you insist on imposing your will onto everyone else, your being selfish, not helpful.
These 'caring' people that you put on a pedestal have cost me a fortune, my business, and freedom.. Quite frankly, I'm sick and tired of them. Its naive to think you can beat a pandemic, like the flu virus, covid is here to stay.

Our dear New Zealand (and our professing folk here) get a hammering on here at times. Some of my family did their overseas trip before the Covid virus struck and their words were: they enjoyed their trip but it confirmed for them, New Zealand was ‘the greatest place to be living’ and would not swap it for any place they had been. We have many Americans here, who appreciate our country so much they communicate with family and friends back home and say ‘come’. In terms of the church here, I obviously don’t attend meetings any longer but it saddens me to read when professing folk that I know on here, are so put down. All they attempt to do on TMB is defend the representation of their church. It is good to get away from that cult-like representation. To me it is personal, as they are also representing my deceased mother & the manner in which she lived spiritually here in N.Z. I have never supported anybody who is not honourable, trustworthy or having integrity. There are some beautiful professing folk in N.Z. ( as in other churches) and they don’t deserve the crap dished out on this site. ( By satirist or ungrounded, off the planet contributors etc).

Do those stats include Disneyland, the happiest place on earth? Id suggest that NZ has got a lot happier recently, now that there's not bus loads of Chinese going in all directions, and tired old vans bumbling along everywhere at 45mph with young European backpacker types in them, seeing how cheaply they can use NZ up for, while sh!tting in our roadside rest areas. Long may it remain.

Your lucky that the rest of the world has a work ethic that keeps NZ supplied while you frightened sissies hide Could be wrong but aren't baseball bats looked at a bit sideways anyway? I mean, you and I both know someone who has threatened to beat someone else with one eh? Cricket bats are where it is at, big chunk of wood with a nice contact area (sarcasm)..... Here in the UK a lone baseball bat in your car is considered an offensive weapon I am told, realistically given that baseball is not one of our national sports, I would say that you could carry a glove and ball and it'd still be considered an offensive weapon. Point about knives, or other sharp objects, is that they are the second fastest way after a gun to kill or incapacitate others. Yes I could kill someone with a crowbar but it'd take longer be messier and someone might notice; or my intended victim might just fend me off due to there not being a blade involved? Knife crime is a big problem here, knife amnesties are regularly held and seemingly a awful lot get handed in. Those who carry knives would carry guns if they were an option and then they'd do much more damage. Regarding lockdowns- my great uncle in his early 20s was flying an Armstrong Whitworth Whitley bomber over occupied europe to help combat the nazis; as they were his generation's threat to humanity. How lucky am I that at 42 all I've had to do is get a couple of doses of covid vaccine and wear a face mask and stay at home? I could have all the freedom in the world but be dead of covid...... Just my view.

Your a hypercondriac.... I'm surprised you were brave enough to leave your house in order to get your shots.
Stay under your bed and try not to be afraid Bob, you'll be okay come Spring You don't need a vacation, you just need a shot of courage.
I really am curious as to where the rich folks in NZ and AU get all their money.. I'd be in the poor house after a year and a half of lock downs if I hadn't worked.
Life does seem like one big party down there, no responsibilities in life, just playtime 24/7... I'm a little jealous.

Mystifies me how you guys succumb to the legalistic eastern christianity of 2,000 years ago when you regularly express the value of freedom being paramount in your lives today. You are mixing the OT with the NT. The OT law(legalistic)was the law of sin and death, in the NT we are under grace. The OT was not about free will much at all, the NT was. That is why the NT is compatible with freedom.
