Stare decisis, (Latin: “let the decision stand”), in Anglo-American law, principle that a question once considered by a Court and answered must elicit the same response each time the same issue is brought before the Courts. ... The principle is observed more strictly in England than in the United States.
Perhaps that is why America is in such a mess, a reluctance by some to accept binding decisions. Thank God we are more compliant in Australia, makes for a more peaceful community.

I was sitting in car with the radio on when it was announced that the verdict was going to be read.
I knew the jury coming to a conclusion so soon probably meant a guilty verdict, -but on which count was would it be?
When it read off one by one as each one was "guilty," "-guilty" on all three, -I gave such a sigh of relief... I hadn't realized how tense I had felt.
Finally! -a beginning , a glimmer of justice which had so long been denied.

Can't follow your thinking Wally, last week it was Women submit to Men. But you are not willing to submit to Authorities. Sounds like you always want to be top Dog. Sort of doesn't add up, especially for a 2x2. You have got it all back to front. Woman should not submit to Men, but we should all submit to responsible authority.

If we never saw it in the "main stream media," -where did you find it, Dan?
If true -why does that fit into his death because a policeman held down against hard concrete pavement with his knee on his neck until Floyd died?

Twas on a conservative website, members only.. Point being, George Floyd was not the innocent family man he's cracked up to be.
Police Arrested Floyd a Total of 9 Times, Mostly on Drug and Theft Charges
According to court records in Harris County, which encompasses Floyd’s hometown of Houston, authorities arrested him on nine separate occasions between 1997 and 2007, mostly on drug and theft charges that resulted in months-long jail sentences.

Yes, Floyd did have a police record. I knew some of that. Most people following this case also knew. He had also paid for those crimes.
But my question to you Dan, is how did those crimes fit into his death sentence by a policeman who held him down handcuffed against hard concrete pavement with his knee on his neck until Floyd died?
What crime was Floyd supposed to have committed at the time that he was being arrested that it warranted him getting "death penalty" without a trial at the hands of Chauvin, a police officer?
Why are you trying to put Floyd "on trial" for his own death rather who was really on trial, the police officer , Chauvin?

I wasn't putting Floyd on trial, nor was I justifying Chauvan for killing him, I agree with the verdict.. My only point was that the victim was no Saint George, but a career criminal and drug abuser.

Facts are facts... Floyd was being arrested for reportedly passing a counterfeit $20 bill to a cashier, and for resisting arrest.
Perhaps you missed this record? How many arrest constitutes a career criminal?

So? Since when has it been the law that one should get the "death penalty" for passing a counterfeit bill. Besides the fact of how well do you know whether a bill was counterfeit or real? I wouldn't know.
Neither should anyone get the "death penalty" for "resisting arrest" after they are already hand cuffed and lying on the ground.
No, I didn't "miss" the record.
Not sure your idea of what "constitutes a career criminal," -but I would think it was more like people in a group like the mafia.

My point is I could pass a counterfeit bill not even be aware I was doing so!
Should I be arrested and be cuffed & die for it?

I do.
Unlike yourself, I have the humility to meet and challenge its demonic core.
Meanwhile, people like you will offer up scapegoats. Your entire worldview will become so manifestly diseased you will vomit it up.

It is religion that has created demons as scapegoats for the cause the problems in the world.
That releases themselves from having to do any work to change anything about the problems.
Although I have known & have worked along side of some people of religious faiths who did realize that they needed to do something themselves.
PS Lee, you don't even know what consists of my "entire worldview."
