The double standard is appalling. Political correctness is great, isn't it? If he was white and motivated by white supremacy ideals, we should call him a "terrorist" and have an honest discussion about the underlying white racism and that motivated him. The fact that we cannot examine the stated goals of those who carry out terrorist acts clearly motivated by their version of Islam is ridiculous. Our VP tweeting that assumption (him being white) is a disgrace to an already questionable administration. It would be equally disgraceful if she had assumed that he was a Muslim. Biden was right. America is back.

And if his Christianity influenced his choice to go on a shooting spree, we should find out everything we can about his church and investigate it! I've been worried about Christian fundamentalists being under the impression that Trump was some sort of usher for the apocalypse as per Revelations. I wonder if the Georgian shooter was thus inspired? I haven't looked into it, but given the beliefs of some extreme Christians in this country, it bears examination. As for the Colorado fellow, it may be inspired by Islam, or maybe by Biden's renewed attacks on his homeland. Time will tell I suppose, but the little people (us) hear what the media/govt/corporate empire wishes for us to hear.

Yes -- his Christian sex addition treatment didn't seem to work for some reason. The church now pleads for the public to understand that they do not condone what he did.

What I wonder is why any of us can just automatically start trying to determine his motivation.
He may not have been even aware of political goings on or much of anything else going on except for his pain caused his mental illness.
We need a lot more attention and allocations of funds for mental illness, but we won't do it.
We will just keep pouring money into other things like gun rights.

The church now pleads for the public to understand that they do not condone what he did. 12 step programs can work for those in the system 1-5 years at a rate of about 30%. if they are in the system 5 years about a 45/50% rate of success...cocaine is the outlier with only a 14% rate after 5 years... 5 year time period outpatient 18% success days to a couple weeks course inpatient 21% success about 1 month stay residential 21% success 3-6 months or longer stay www.abtrs.com/news/12-step-programs-really-work <<<unknown politics, unknown fact reporting

Not to mention that the Georgia killer was also a VERY DEVOUT CHRISTIAN.
Devout Christians don't ignore the "Thou shalt not murder" commandment.
If he was Christian, he was a crazy one.

I suppose Christian-based sex addiction treatment works about as well as Christian-based "pray the gay away" Conversion "therapy": not at all.

All religions have their crazy ones. There isn't anything to be done about it. The inability of Christians and Muslims and Hindus to control their crazies.
