I have been telling you folks on here for 20 years... NOT just last year! Falun Gong was founded by its leader Li Hongzhi in China in the early 1990s

Maybe he's been reading the children's cartoon version of the Bible. I told you folks for 20 years Paul the apostle SAVED and PRESERVED Christ' church and teachings from going down the drain with false brethren brought damnable/pagans and heresy teachings into the churches the RCC by the end of the 2nd Century. The Vaudois were Paul's converts in Rome 67 A.D. carry on the TRUE teachings of Christ to our days! that was WHY the resurrected Jesus appointed him in person on the way to Damascus in Acts 9:11-16 to told Ananais this...
And the Lord/Jesus said to him, “Get up and go to the street called Straight, and inquire at the house of Judas for a man from Tarsus named Saul, for he is praying, 12 and he has seen in a vision a man named Ananias come in and lay his hands on him, so that he might regain his sight.” 13 But Ananias answered, “Lord, I have heard from many people about this man, how much harm he did to Your saints in Jerusalem; 14 and here he has authority from the chief priests to arrest all who call on Your name.” 15 But the Lord said to him, “Go, for he is a chosen instrument of Mine, to bear My name before the Gentiles and kings and the sons of Israel; 16 for I will show him how much he must suffer in behalf of My name.” professing.proboards.com/thread/25658/nathan-time-line-irvine-founder

Disclaimer: I am all for a female president. Question: If something happens to Joe Biden (medical) during his presidency, is it a victory for women if Kamala Harris becomes the first female president? The reason I ask: I don't see it as a victory or something the feminist movement should necessarily celebrate. I personally would prefer the first female president to be the presidential nominee from the party rather than the vp. Vice presidents are often chosen not only for merit, but for political purposes. I don't know that such a historic first for our country should involve a "by default" female president who wasn't elected as the president. It (in my mind) doesn't have the same impact as Obama being the first black president. He was the nominee, and defeated a very solid, qualified and respected opponent. Thoughts, particularly from females? (And I'm most interested in the opinion of dmmichgood on this issue, having come to respect her wisdom and experience) NZ had a similar experience that you are thinking of a few years ago. Maybe Australis did too but I will wait for an Aussy to confirm that. In NZ there are two major parties and a few minors. In 1997 National was the govt. with Jim Bolger as Prime Minister. Jim was a gentleman and Jim was very much middle of the road. I agree with that way of steering a political course. However Shipley, also a National Party member of parliament for ten years was not happy with the govt. and the Bolger leadership. At a NP caucus meeting where NP members of parliament were asked who to support they voted for Shipley. She lost the next election in 2001, defeated by a female led Labour Party. Although Shipley was NZ's first female prime minister she was only elected to that position by the NP caucus. NZ's next PM was Helen Clark who was leader of the Labour Party and the people of NZ voted for her to be PM. I believe there is a subtle difference. Interesting - thanks

Secular women will have one reaction while Christians may have a very different viewpoint. *** Hi Wally, Dan, Lee, Shushy I just heard on the radio that the TIME magazine is printing an article that 2020 election is fortified RIGGED! They give many compelling evidences who are behind it! Just like we have been telling these anti-Trumpers on here! <snip> It has already been published online, nathan. You should do a little research and listen a little more carefully. I don't know what "fortified rigged" even means. You've put two verbs in a row, both referring back to the object "2020 election." Which translates to "the election is fortified and the election is rigged." Which are opposites. It's like me saying my sleep last night was restful restless. Besides being lousy sentence structure, it's a logical somersault. Here's the line from the article you were apparently trying quote: "They were not rigging the election; they were fortifying it."Source: time.com/5936036/secret-2020-election-campaign/Get it right next time.

I really rebel against this idea that politics has to be a place full of ego and where you're constantly focused on scoring hits against each one another. Yes, we need a robust democracy, but you can be strong, and you can be kind.
