If you read my previous post again you will see that I am not saying that at all. The welfare of the victim must come first. Many victims do not want to go through the trauma of reporting matters for all the emotional, psychological issues that accompany the process, etc. Ideally every perpetrator should be brought to justice, but each case has to be guided by its own merits. Some abuse victims have committed suicide because they could not cope with the processes that follow on from reporting. then it gets reserved to the rumor/anecdotal category. when dealing with something like CSA we must stick to FACTS. FACT: in our system(where i work) we've yet to have a suicide over the actual process, what we've had are suicides over the actual abuse... Suspicion (report) causes investigation, which gathers evidence, which leads to establishing the facts of the case. Many victims of sexual and other forms of abuse are seriously traumatised by their experiences, and by having the matters investigated, re-traumatises them, something which they cannot cope with. Then the probability of having to go through a nightmare of a court experience where one side is hell bent on introducing doubt to their testimony. If I had a British pound for every time I have heard someone say... 'I'll report it but I'm not going to court about it' I would be able to fly to Australia from the UK once the pandemic is over. If someone is not willing to face the harrowing court appearance, then the case is null and void. You cannot force people to give testimony in these circumstances. Yes facts are facts and cases are decided on established facts, but as you are well aware due to the sensitivities involved in abuse cases and the inability of many victims to stand up to the pressures involved in a court case, many cases are thrown out. This alone makes the victim feel they have not been believed and is emotionally and psychologically devastating. The prospect of all this is enough to dissuade a victim from reporting or from going through with the matter. Even with adult victims it might take years for them to come forward and report abuses. By that time any evidence other than personal testimony has long since disappeared and the case is seriously weakened. The emotional and psychological welfare of the victim is a massive consideration in progressing abuse cases. Yes we all want perpetrators brought to justice, and quickly, but if a victim is not able or willing to go through the court process, then that is a priority, because without that willingness or ability there can be no case to answer. To try and force the matter merely heaps coals on the state of the victim. Also, where cases fail, meaning the allegations have not been proved, to use the circumstances, as often happens, to discredit the complainer/victim by those representing, or on the side of the perpetrator, is both opportunistic and despicable. The majority of cases do not come to court (as you will know) because of the frailties involved.

I heard that satin's daily laugh has to do with muslin's effort to blanket the earth. Yes, -at least that is what someone told me that someone told them but said that is was a secret operation and that it shouldn't be spread around and might cause a panic amongst the people.
So, we should keep that secret under wraps!
Satin cloth is a lovely lustrous, shiny fabric. It feels so cool and soft against your skin but it is deceptive in that it is slippery and slides around so you can't trust it to stay in one on place
Sounds like the perfect weapon for muslin's to deceive the whole world.
PS: you can understand how muslin would hate satin.

Wally, If there is a rotten apple in the box you remove it,don't you? Why did 2xpreachers get jail time,in our small state? For CSA. One was sent to South America, they were glad to send him home-12 known victims. The other 2x2 gossip has him at over 30,cover up for years until someone had the courage to report him,as with the first one. Are they not as others I have known for my 8 decades are they"ANTINOMIANS"? Not just male preachers either.Very like the RCC's sin through the week and break bread on a Sunday. As celibacy is not a biblical demand it sadly attracts the weirdos,if it sadly is demanded. 1Corinthians-v-4/5 blows that demand out of the 2x2s theology, does'nt it Wally. Regards Magpie. PS People get riled when a Scout leader molests kids,so more so for those who say they are"God's"true?servants. Gods true servants would not harm a child which proves Those workers are not true. But fake Perhaps 'fallen' rather than fake? But yes, like Boy Scouts movements, etc, the wrong people can get attracted to positions where they have control over the vulnerable.

In the cases I know about, they happened roughly 20 years ago. The perps are either dead, or in no position to cause further harm. Excepting for one, who is a predator living in the KC area (rhymes with Prick Dimpson).

Now, -was that a compliment, a complaint or just a double entendre or what?
Well whatever, -I am glad that you still post, -if you keep it at a minimum!

Many thanks Dm. Wise words I must note. The entertainer must be aware that they are lauded and loathed for their presentations, often in equal proportion. It can be quite a balancing act. That is why the type and appreciation of the audience is so important. There is no point in attempting to entertain a hostile community. On the other hand hostility accompanies even the best of entertainment, therefore we cannot be governed by the whims or sensitivities of a few individuals, lest the majority be denied the light hearted relief that is so crucial for survival when faced with the pressures of the modern age. Whilst I take cognisance of your application of the term 'minimum,' the real guide is to know when to advance and when to retreat. As with military strategy, this can only come with experience, and more is often learned from defeat than from victory. The target is to win the war, but along the way, some battles will be lost. Doth not the Patagonian alpaca breeder not know when it's raining? Or the Guam rice importer when his newspaper has been delivered? Such are the type of things we must weigh up when assessing matters!
