en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dunning–Kruger_effectThis was mentioned in another thread. I had never heard of it and found it interesting. I've often wondered, "how can <insert person> be so stupid?!" Hopefully tucking it away here for us curious cats, we can have an academic discussion without the trolls interjecting their garbage. I haven't followed up on the associated studies but looking forward to it. Enjoy. Another one that effects everyone to some degree is Cognitive dissonance

Does the Dunning-Kruger effect also apply to the "god of the bible"? 1/3 of angels kicked out of heaven (fails to make paradise) Garden of Eden (fails to make paradise) God regrets (creating mankind) God regrets (made Saul king) Global flood (evil trumps good, 2nd try) End of the world & hell is full (fails to make a paradise) New Heaven & Earth (tries to make it all over again)

Could even add a few more, -like having his own son killed to save the people HE made a mess of creating to start with , -and the story goes on...

"I hate this defective bowl!" Potter makes perfect bowl, only to smash it to bits. On purpose. "I love this defective bowl!" #GodLogic
