Scott has passed...his wife Kathy posted on her FB page today 10/05/2020. " Kathy Ross (wrote): My heart is breaking. Save a place for me in heaven. I love you and miss you so much Scott Ross" Thanks, for the news... RIP... Scott R.
Thanks, for Scott help by talking to some overseers in USA on CSA problems, issues 10 yrs ago... Scott R. kept in touch with some of them and they had a great respect for his help and suggestion. The overseer in Texas had his workers staff taken CSA classes on line, and many workers in different states follow by taken courses on line to educate themselves and to understand CSA better.
The overseer from Texas came on TMB and told us the progress of CSA... He was only a small fish in the pond, and he can only do his part in his state and hoping the rest will follow... I met that Texas overseer at Boring convention a few years ago, and we chat a little about ScottR. and his efforts in educating us on CSA within our fellowship and ministry.
I am very thankful that many of the overseers now are on board No more tolerance! and cover up on CSA within the ministry and fellowship. They want the friends and workers to cooperate with the authority in all they can. Now, the overseers have guidelines for the workers and the friends on CSA in many countries.
When I was in the work in Bozeman, Montana field with Gary P. we stayed in his sister's home a few times. We had many good memories in their home.

Scott was a good person. I worked with him a lot on the WINGS site for years. Always fair and objective.

Kathy, we share in your grief.
For those in the TMB community, we grew to love Scott and all he stood for. His energy and sense of justice were commendable. As well, Scott was a voice of reason and a highly respected link between Workers and current and ex F&Ws.
We are going to miss greatly his friendship and wisdom!

Scott was a warrior for the safety of children. I know it from deep personal interactions with him. The world is a lesser place without him.

Here is an email my husband and I wrote Scott when we learned of his impending "promotion to glory."
We were dismayed and saddened to learn of your recent/serious health challenges. Chester and I have good memories of the close times we shared during the work and collaboration with the original WINGS group to help those whose lives were hurt, mangled and broken, and to bring about positive lasting change in a belief system that was not addressing this atrocity.
The success of WINGS far exceeded all of our hopes. It all started when you and Julie Stucker and her husband went to visit Lyle S. re Tim Severud in 2007. It is truly amazing how the ripples that started with WINGS bringing awareness to CSA has fanned out to the whole world. Whodathunkit?!!
I recall the two of us keeping our keyboards hot, writing numerous emails back and forth while we were both at work, sharing and bouncing things off each other, etc. Our "stupid jobs" as you once referred to yours, getting in the way of our work on the WINGs website!
Then we finally met in person when we were in MN a few years back, I think maybe at Olive Garden? You and Chester being ice-creamaholics; your delight in riding your cycle.
May it comfort you that your work to change things for the better, to help the broken has and will continue to have far reaching and long lasting benefits for many. To your credit, you worked tirelessly in helping to relieve the oppressed of many. Truly, you made a difference in this world!
Lastly, Scott, we wanted to say that although we three went through a rough period in the past, the slate has long been wiped clean. We hold nothing against you, and hope the same applies for you toward us also toward.
May you have love and peace as your promotion to glory draws nearer.
Kind regards
Cherie & Chester
