American Thinker is a daily online magazine dealing with American politics, foreign policy, national security, Israel, economics, diplomacy, culture and military strategy with a conservative viewpoint.
It was founded in 2003 by Ed Lasky, a Northbrook lawyer, Richard Baehr, a Chicago health care consultant, and Thomas Lifson, a Berkeley, Calif., sociologist and business adviser.
The magazine has been described as a conservative blog.
Right Wing Watch points out that American Thinker has published an excessively complimentary piece on a white nationalist, claimed women ruined public discourse by complaining about rape, and asserted that rainbow-colored Doritos are a "gateway snack to introduce children to the joys of homosexuality."
The site has published falsehoods about climate change. I can see why the American Thinker is right up your ideology alley, Lee!

"Gangsterism" and "Criminal Quagmire" describe Trump and Company to a tee.

Any person that attacks a person who is bringing down the deep state and all that entails who is pro children and protective of them enough to arrest all the pedophiles and drug trafficers on the planet should have your vote. "Deep State" is partially comprised of career civil servants who actually know what they're doing -- like Dr. Fauci -- and serve as the voice of expertise, wisdom, and temperance, and thus serve as a bulwark between self-serving politicians and sound public policy -- and dare I say democracy. And yes, I would certainly consider voting for those who attack Trump for trying to bring down people like Dr. Fauci.

However it was created, in the final analysis it will be determined that Covid had to run its course of general infection and host immunization. Some would die from it, most would not.

And for some people it would seem that as long as the virus doesn't kill THEM or THEIR loved ones, they don't care what happens.

Some times it is hard to not just think 'good riddance' -we are better off without them!

Rationally, what is the best course to take? Shutting ecomonies down cost lives. Shutting lives down, are lives shut down. A vaccine may appear in months or never, as in aids. I say let the virus run its course. If you’re susceptible, guard yourself. If you’re sick, isolate.

Lee, -you can advise such actions because you have personally already distanced yourself from large populated areas.
Most people aren't fortunate enough to be able to do that.
You apparently do not care how many people might have to die just as long as you can work and buy whatever you want to buy.

Would you have advocated the same action against the disease of Small pox?
Tuberculosis?
Polio?
Diabetes?

Chicken pox is was pretty bad. Many people adopted a get it over with strategy. I said "Small pox," Lee! Not Chicken pox!
Since you don't seem to know the the difference I will post a bit about it.
But do go to the site itself to see the picture of a child with smallpox. If that picture doesn't keep you awake tonight or give you nightmares, -then I think that you are completely insensitive to the pain of others. Smallpox
Smallpox was an infectious disease caused by one of two virus variants, Variola major and Variola minor.[7] The last naturally occurring case was diagnosed in October 1977, and the World Health Organization (WHO) certified the global eradication of the disease in 1980.[10] The risk of death following contracting the disease was about 30%, with higher rates among babies.[6][11] Often those who survived had extensive scarring of their skin, and some were left blind.[6]
The initial symptoms of the disease included fever and vomiting.[5] This was followed by formation of sores in the mouth and a skin rash.[5] Over a number of days the skin rash turned into characteristic fluid-filled bumps with a dent in the center.[5] The bumps then scabbed over and fell off, leaving scars.[5] The disease was spread between people or via contaminated objects.[6][12] Prevention was primarily by the smallpox vaccine.[9] Once the disease had developed, certain antiviral medication may have helped.[9]
The origin of smallpox is unknown.[13] The earliest evidence of the disease dates to the 3rd century BCE in Egyptian mummies.[13] The disease historically occurred in outbreaks.[10] In 18th-century Europe, it is estimated 400,000 people per year died from the disease, and one-third of the cases resulted in blindness.[10][14] These deaths included six monarchs.[10][14] Smallpox is estimated to have killed up to 300 million people in the 20th century[15][16] and around 500 million people in the last 100 years of its existence.[17] As recently as 1967, 15 million cases occurred a year.[10] cont@ wiki
Inoculation for smallpox appears to have started in China around the 1500s.[18][19] Europe adopted this practice from Asia in the first half of the 18th century.[20] In 1796 Edward Jenner introduced the modern smallpox vaccine.[21][22] In 1967, the WHO intensified efforts to eliminate the disease.[10] Smallpox is one of two infectious diseases to have been eradicated, the other being rinderpest in 2011.[23][24] The term "smallpox" was first used in Britain in the early 16th century to distinguish the disease from syphilis, which was then known as the "great pox".[25][26] Other historical names for the disease include pox, speckled monster, and red plague.[3][4][26]

I work around air handlers now during the week (HVAC work) so I’ll probably get sick. I’ll let you know how it goes. Everyone needs to get this thing and get over it and get on with their lives. Fear has been turned into a virtue.

Fear has been turned into a virtue. Have you paid no attention to what has been happening in hospitals and morgues where the infection rates are high? I don't just mean what's happening to people who are sick, but also to people working on the front lines of this pandemic. There are were good reasons to try to keep infection rates under control. What would have been so difficult about wearing a mask and practicing social distancing?

Yes, please do let you know how it goes when you get covid 19.
Just be sure you let us know BEFORE they intubate you because as I am sure that as you know, -you aren't going to be able to tell us anything with a tube down your throat because you won't be able to talk.
Nor will you be able to use your hands to type out any kind of message to us because your hands will be tied down to keep you from pulling our your intubation tube.
So, toodle-oo 'til then!
PS. Oh, and Lee please do have someone designated to let us know if you don't make it through so we can morn your passing in an appropriate manner.
