After my previous thread and poll on vaccines, I am seeing things that lead me to believe that there is HUGE gap in mask-wearing between Christians and Non-Christians. I suspect that professing people are also more likely to wear masks to protect others, even while worldly 2x2 exes call them cowards. Perhaps the most passionate Christian believer's plea was by Ms. Christina Gomez in front of the Palm Beach Florida County Board of commissioners. (By the miniskirt and makeup, I'm pretty sure she is unprofessing in the true way) She spoke most eloquently and forcefully, but many other believers also spoke about how wearing masks was against God.

If it was needful I would were a mask. Seeing as we are virtually free we don't have to though advisable around those who have the virus.

This isn’t a very well worded survey,as it doesn’t allow for “shades of grey”
We have no community transmission of Covid in our country, and the Ministry of Health doubts the efficacy of masks, except in the cases of prolonged proximity.
If there was widespread community transmission then I would mask up, more to protect others from me, than to protect myself.
I can’t see that old religious legalisms about face coverings would be relevant today except for some old Orders, eg; Hasidic

It seems as logical as waiting for a walk light to cross a busy street.

Thank you OA for using "I'm a non-2x2 Christian" instead of "Worldly Church". Like that, much appreciated. There is no such thing as a "Worldly Church" they are all Christians. Everybody is starting to understand that including Workers.

Pastor Scott Lively ... Christian author, consultant to many world government leaders on homosexuality, and now working on starting a Bible College Lively's attempt to equate the wearing of "facemasks" to deter an illness caused by a virus which doesn't discriminate between men & women nor ethic groups of people, is in no way the same as "head coverings for women" or "yellow stars" forced on the Jewish people in Germany under the Nazis.
His claims are just one of the many fallacies that religions use attempt propagate their point of view.

I couldn’t answer the poll because my wearing a mask has nothing to do with religion. It’s probably more vanity. There are some really cool masks out there!😁

Refusing to wear a face covering to help prevent the spread of a potentially deadly disease during a pandemic has nothing at all to do with your faith of choice. It's utter stupidity.

Refusing to wear a face covering to help prevent the spread of a potentially deadly disease during a pandemic has nothing at all to do with your faith of choice. Not true. 'An Ohio lawmaker says he refuses to wear a mask to protect himself amid the coronavirus pandemic because he believes that faces are the “likeness of God.” Republican state Rep. Nino Vitale argued Monday against Gov. Mike DeWine’s recommendation to wear face coverings in public on religious grounds. “This is the greatest nation on earth founded on Judeo-Christian Principles,” Vitale said in a Facebook video. “One of those principles is that we are all created in the image and likeness of God. That image is seen the most by our face. I will not wear a mask.”' nypost.com/2020/05/05/ohio-lawmaker-refuses-to-wear-face-mask-on-religious-grounds/

He's obviously not very bright if he thinks we are made in the literal image of God. He probably shouldn't wear clothes. If he loved his neighbor as himself he would mask up to protect others from potential infection.
