The verdict is out for August. You mean the "jury" is out for August?

Well this is a great time for the Workers put the time to good use. The need for supporting groups especially Christian Charities(Here Christian Conventions of Victoria is R'egd as a Charity so activate that?)the needy, poor, now more than for decades unemployed, homless, victims of domestic violence(which has grown dramatically over the past few weeks),home bound elderly and disabled, etc. As our God is a 24/7 God,we should not for one minute stop also remember,His Grace is a free gift, but He still commanded to "do unto others"and "LOVE your neighbour as yourself"and if you have a couple of shirts give one away. The individuals may all have different gifts to put to work,baking/cooking meals,driving/deliveries,sorting,packing,responding to prayer support,(our prayer groups have been very busy),just acting the Gospel because of the group restrictions. When we were caring for those less fortunate, the one event that I will never forget,a Jewish man said, while I was showering him, "Why do youcare so much for me?" David, your God and mine are the same God,so I am just doing for you what He would want. Love Magpie.

HI,how are you Preachers handling the busy new vocation of not wasting time through this closedown period? There is just so much more suffering, need, stress, domestic struggle/violence,overworked charities, especially the christian ones and local churches and homeless will increase as you will have found out by now. Jesus Love can reach so many in so many different ways. Let us know how you have found working for our 24/7 Loving Father and His little ones? "-you did unto Me" Magpie.

Exactly, Magpie. My blood boils at the thought of the Workers doing nothing to help the needy, and having that charity status as well. There’s plenty in the Bible, if they’d care to seek out God’s advice.

Joh_21:23 Then went this saying abroad among the brethren, that that disciple should not die: yet Jesus said not unto him, He shall not die; but, If I will that he tarry till I come, what is that to thee? There’s plenty in the Bible, if they’d care to seek out God’s advice. And what would your good self be doing to help the needy? no doubt you will have no time for yourself with all your charity work. Oh just to ask, how do you know what the workers are doing?

And if all conventions aren't canceled for remainder of year there could well be the desire for mass travel to the later-in-year conventions. With both history and current modeling indicating a second wave is a near certainty, larger than normal gatherings will be wonderful places to contract the virus. Unless the overseers put the kibosh on out-of-staters attending. But even then the risk is still high. Wyoming was going to do "local only" but that was canceled also. Conventions won't be the same until there's a vaccine. Then workers and friends will need "the mark of the beast" to be allowed through the gate.

Unvaccinated people would be dangerous to have on convention grounds. Some on TMB have equated COVID-19 vaccination with "the mark of the beast".

Maybe you could tell us if they are trying to help people in this time of the pandemicThey have been hampered just like us in movement so I wonder what they could do more than we at this time. Some people seem to blurt out as if they should be heroes when themselves more than likely are not. They have been very helpful to us in these trying times.

Well I am sure that they have been, -to their own.
However, when I was still professing they frowned on us doing anything "worldly" no matter what.
That extended to doing voluntary work if it meant that we had to get out into the public to do so.

Some people from other countries may not be aware how strict our lockdown was and how it was adhered to by a large percentage of the population. Maybe 99%. I have only met a few naysayers. One yesterday compared Jacinda Ardern and the Labour Party to Hitler and the Nazi party. He then called her a b.tch several times and was getting really worked up. I pointed out to him that Ardern and the labour govt had created an environment to look after his grandchildren, his children and himself.

Sticking my nose into someone elses business, some say. You are right encouraging others to get involved in God's business. What is the unemployment rate now? Many countries are not as lucky as us and their welfare nonexistant,so if there nothing you see in your neighborhood, buy a Preacher a ticket to Rawanda,Nigeria,Sudan,Somalia to name a few. You will be allowed to travel to these Countries soon,God needs many more in those areas to support those working amongst those persecuted ones,in His name and because they have listened to His call. You need to experience the stench of death and illness of an African refugee camp. No excuses please.Magpie. ps;I will list a couple of dozen verses soon that "DO"relate to caring for the poor.

I don't understand what you are trying to say. Unvaccinated people would be dangerous to have on convention grounds. Some on TMB have equated COVID-19 vaccination with "the mark of the beast". Particularly with the close contact with lots of elderly. It's legitimately a major concern. I wish I had more confidence in the confidence the friends and workers generally place on vaccinations...
