is there an example where Jesus took the side of an atheist or a witch over a brother? is there even an example where Jesus enabled an atheist or a witch to continue doing their sin unchallenged? curious minds want to know... Matthew 16:23 Jesus turned to Peter and said, “Get away from me, Satan! You are a dangerous trap to me. You are seeing things merely from a human point of view, not from God’s.” Jesus was not afraid to rebuke a brother who was wrong. thats what i thought you got nothing....

who said i am going to 100% make it? Geez Wally. Read what you just wrote. You fully believe you can save yourself. Please please consider what Jesus say's about his yoke is easy and his burden is light. He is saying the burden of ritual and performace is too much. What then shall we say that Abraham, our forefather according to the flesh, discovered in this matter? If, in fact, Abraham was justified by works, he had something to boast about—but not before God.What does Scripture say? “Abraham believed God, and it was credited to him as righteousness.”Now to the one who works, wages are not credited as a gift but as an obligation. However, to the one who does not work but trusts God who justifies the ungodly, their faith is credited as righteousness. - Romans 4:1-5 How much more will one love Christ when they see he has already saved us! 100%. Picture the women washing Jesus's feet and his words of those who could not pay the debt, particularly the larger debt. The reaction is a living faith!. Its so much better than you can imagine wally. Thats exaclty what you said wally. "who said i am going to 100% make it" With this view you can never know for sure if your saved or not, there is no way to check your merit balance to see if you have done enough good works. So you have to keep adding hoping you have done enough to be saved. How much work must you do wally?. For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith —and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— - Ephesians 2:8 "you HAVE been saved", Paul cannot say this if he thinks like you. He would have to say, "you might be saved". Basically you just said unknowingly, I dont think Christ alone can save me so I'll keep working just to make sure. Wally the good news is its already done. The ransom price has been paid, the debt is canceled. There is not one thing you can do to change that.

You KNEW and I told the readers NOT to mention the STUFF on the main board because the Admin. has asked us NOT to do it. You and your cronies keep on bring it back, when I replied their posts then you and them jump on the band wagon and cry to the Admin. about me for disrupting the board.
You and your cronies called it Science fiction, but there are topics mention on the Main board talks about science fiction and I don't see you and your cronies raise your concern about it or get them off or ban from posting.
You asked me to let it die, which was actually one of your better ideas. BUT you keep take pot shots at me one way or another, let the readers decide who is in the wrong here that fire the first shot!

It's not "once saved". Its "you are already saved". Do you believe it. "Some" So you really have no idea so you have to keep performing rituals in the hope its enough. Talk about a burden. Definitely not Jesus's yoke.

What fruit are you producing?. longsuffering, i put up with you don't i? Haha you made me laugh 😁. You would have to be longsuffering to never know how you stand before God. It is better than that.... because on this day atonement will be made for you, to cleanse you. Then, before the Lord, you will be clean from all your sins.It is a day of sabbath rest, and you must deny yourselves; it is a lasting ordinance. - Leviticus 16:30-31

For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith —and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— - Ephesians 2:8 It's like: "For it is from the soil you have been fed, by the sweat of your brow." The hymn verse explains being saved quite well: Wash me, O Lamb of God, Wash me from sin! Thou, while I trust in Thee, Wilt keep me clean. Each day to Thee I bring Heart, life— yea, ev'rything; Saved, while to Thee I cling, Saved from all sin!

"Saved in order to do Good". Not "do good in order to be saved". Thy Kingdom come, your will be done on earth as it is in heaven!.

Nathan, could you start a thread about the differences between pagans and atheists. That way us atheists might get a better understanding of where you are coming from.

Leviticus 16:31
28 And he that burneth them shall wash his clothes, and bathe his flesh in water, and afterward he shall come into the camp.
29 And this shall be a statute for ever unto you: that in the seventh month, on the tenth day of the month, ye shall afflict your souls, and do no work at all, whether it be one of your own country, or a stranger that sojourneth among you:
30 For on that day shall the priest make an atonement for you, to cleanse you, that ye may be clean from all your sins before the LORD.
31 It shall be a sabbath of rest unto you, and ye shall afflict your souls, by a statute for ever.
32 And the priest, whom he shall anoint, and whom he shall consecrate to minister in the priest's office in his father's stead, shall make the atonement, and shall put on the linen clothes, even the holy garments:
33 And he shall make an atonement for the holy sanctuary, and he shall make an atonement for the tabernacle of the congregation, and for the altar, and he shall make an atonement for the priests, and for all the people of the congregation.
34 And this shall be an everlasting statute unto you, to make an atonement for the children of Israel for all their sins once a year.
And he did as the LORD commanded Moses.

Think of roman opression and persecution and it in no way means working for your salvation. See we struggle to understand this because we cannot relate to those times. Hanging onto you life meant denouncing Jesus and calling ceaser God in order to save your skin and most likely your family. Think Peter denying Jesus, And then what Jesus's reaction was. Cooked him breakfast on the beach 🙂. Not denouncing Jesus and being put to death and most likely your family as well meant life after physical death. Lots of Christians and Ive had this argument before herenon on TMB automatically assume enduring, clinging ect ect is working for your salvation. No thought is given to why it was written because weve had bashed into our heads we must work for it by perfomamce. Living in these times they would not be thinking like us, enduring and clinging was literally enduring the opression placed upon them, not how many missions and meetings they could make it too.

Workers never taught that to you huh?. Same here. To be brutely honest most workers are clueless when it comes to the bible, however I dont judge them or think less of them because of it. Indoctrination is a powerful thing. Deny themselves and work so they could not claim and credit for the clensing. Ephesians 2:8-9 The priest that sat down and said it is finished. Jesus said itnis finished and has sat down at the right hand of god. The work is complete. Garments for the holy place, regular garments for the sacrifice for the people. God becoming the God man and sacrificing for the people. Read Hebrews 10 and you should see the connection. The bible is a dynamic progressive revelation of God!. Christ the final word of God. Child Sacrifice, cutting, animal sacrifice, animal sacrifice only once a year, Jesus one sacrifice once for all.
