Jesus is the highest standard for truth and that's rare to find anywhere in religion or anywhere else. That's not a low standard by any means. No I should not have banned the bible in seeking the truth, that's just what YOU believe. But that is definitely not even close to what I believe. Did he even exist or was he a figment of someones imagination? I said binned, not banned. There is quite a difference. I think he existed, but absolutely not in the way most Christians interpret who he was. If you're interested Bart Erhman has a couple of good books on the subject. One is How Jesus became God and the other Did Jesus really exist? He makes the claim that yes Jesus was a historic figure, but not in any way close to what Christians now believe.

Well yes that does seem to be an issue with you. It's absolutely not an issue with me and perhaps some others but why is that an issue to you?🥴 The issue is not with your belief regarding the bible. It is when some believers want the contents of the bible presented, as part of public education, as fact. Yes an these days in the States there is no shortage of them around.
