Armand is my maternal uncle. I'll see what more I can learn.

First note from my cousin back there.
The last of the seven Sharpe siblings, Uncle Armand, passed away peacefully in his sleep early this morning in Fredericton at Hospice House. He had just turned 94 on Monday. It feels like an end of an era for us.

It feels so strange to be the 'oldest generation' now. That was always our aunts and uncles and parents. I have none left anymore which makes me the 'old folks'!

Bob,
Bernice (Sharpe) Ebbet was to me what she was to Armand. I remember meeting Armand as a teenager and loved him (though he never knew) like a very much older brother. I know in spirit, he is safe with his redeemer.
