I think it has been 20 or 30 years that I have been on here. I have been kind of in and out sometimes though, and used other names. One time I did some child abuse counseling work of sorts. At any rate, for all that time I have one star and it says "New member." Somebody please enlighten me on how to move ahead in the nembership. In other words. i just turned 65, and I don't want to still be considered a "New member" when I am 85.

I think it all depends on how many posts you have made - changing names wouldn't have helped you with regards to that! I have made 71 (now 72) posts & am considered a "junior member".
So get posting!!

its how many posts you've made... ...under the account you are using to log in. Check your other accounts - maybe you have more posts (and more seniority) under one of those names.

I remember you and your family. I sent you a Private message (PM).
The owners/admins of forums hosted by Pro-Boards set a number of posts for each star. Its entirely up to them--their decision. From forum to forum, this figure/tally will vary.
