Dear friends,
Our sister Lavina just passed peacefully at 11:29am as we all sang hymn 116 (Daniel Larson’s choice) together with her... it seemed so fitting, as if the angels were beckoning her to come home, and enter into eternal rest.
Just yesterday at this time, she was sitting at the table for the noon meal... then, she began to swiftly decline. So thankful for caring, comfort measured by hospice to diminish her pain. She had decided last week to not pursue chemo.
We are thankful to the Larson’s and so many precious friends, brothers & sisters who have stood by her side as she finished her journey - true to the very end. They express that she was such a gracious patient, thankful, responsive at every suggestion & graceful to the end. Account of her last days
