Ran across these today while procrastinating on studying for my finals. The writing style is loose, but the messages resonated with me. Hope someone else finds them worth reading.
How Half of America Lost Its F*king Mind - In which the author argues that Trump was elected not because of a bunch of hooting and hollering close-minded Nazi racists, but because (geographically) 85% of America feels ignored and helpless and desperate and their rural way of life is dying. Conclusion? The author doesn't provide an answer, but suggests we start by trying to understand the rural struggle.
5 Helpful Answers to Society's Most Uncomfortable Questions - In which the author offers a view that even I wasn't really aware of. We're a part of humanity a whole, we're not just individuals. We are like leaves on a tree, reaping the benefits or bearing the consequences of our forefathers' actions.
