The mind has to be set free spiritually by the gospel of Jesus Christ= forgive others that is one way to be free from the sufferings and pains of the body and the mind.
Jesus said in Luke 4:18 "The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he has sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised..."

Years ago when Walter Pickering was queried about a Workers indescretion," Are you leaving him in the Work?". Walter a most grumpy old #$%^&, "Good preachers are to hard to come by" . However, praying that a predator change his disposition is as profitable as praying that a volcano will not erupt. They are both subject to what mother nature made of them. I'd never scoff at caring, helping, or counselling for either the predator or the victim. But it WON'T CHANGE THE VOLCANO, so to speak. Volcanos, and predators, are only safe when separated from potential victims. Volcanos can't be moved, but predators can. But NO ONE HAS THE MEANS OR AUTHORITY to accomplish that except the LAW. I question how pastoring would help the predator. The only thing pastoring could do that caring, helping, and counselling can do is affect some kind of spiritual change -- it smacks too loudly of conversion therapy. But it's not a spiritual problem, it's an inherent property of the "beast". Nothing personal about anyone -- just my stand on the issue. |

Sorry, I got that bit confused, duct tape and lipstick are for cars involved in car crashes. Prayer does nothing. If it did, why did prayer not help the perpetrator not commit the crime. As usual Nathan, you and your kind are like an ambulance waiting at the bottom of a cliff with your damn meaningless prayers and thoughts.

I prayed for God to help me in many situations that I got myself in a jam, need help and He answered it, and made a believer out of me in God hears and answers prayers like in the Old and New Testament of the faithful Elijah and others in the Bible. I speak from my own personal experiences that God is alive and He listens to our prayers requests and He answers them accordingly to His timing and NOT ours because His ways, methods are working better than our ways.... So, wait patiently and TRUST in God to show you the WAY of deliverance and you will be amazed His GREATNESS of plans.

There is one slight problem with your scenario Nathan. There will be no life on earth and that means no humans, no chimpanzees and probably no micro organism at about the 1 billion years from today and after our sun goes awol at about 5 billion form now then there is also no planets. Interestingly enough at the 1 billion mark, Mars may very well have a better chance of sustaining life than it currently does. |

Most of the things God has promised in the Bible, have come to pass.... Please, BELIEVE in His words and promises your eternal destiny and your children, and their children depend upon you. Many souls are at stake because of the choice you make in this life.
Heb. 3: 7-8 Therefore, as the Holy Spirit says, “Today, if you hear his voice,
do not harden your hearts as in the rebellion,
on the day of testing in the wilderness,
where your fathers put me to the test
and saw my works for forty years.
Therefore I was provoked with that generation,
and said, ‘They always go astray in their heart;
they have not known my ways.’
As I swore in my wrath,
‘They shall not enter my rest.’”

That's true, I had forgotten about how dangerous they are. I have also remembered two other dangers,Asteroids and Hemorrhoids which if they are a decent size and hit the earth then we are in deep poo. |
