Surely, will be glad to reply to the error made on the Ronan tent. The man in charge was experienced and knowledgeable regarding square end tents, however had little to no knowledge of basic math. I was considered too green and ignorant to even listen to, so all warnings and expectations regarding the tent design went ignored, no, worse than ignored, ridiculed. It was supposed to be a round ended tent because of high winds.
Thus, when the one responsible for that tent’s design refused to believe he could have made an error, the completed tent proved itself rim bound, forcing the need for its expansion in order to drop the rediculous height of poles needed to raise the top. He disappeared overnight. With the overseer of that job so embarrassed by the result of the tent, it was left to me to solve, as I had been the only person to speak up during construction to say what was wrong, why, and what would be necessary to fix it.
This design forced the construction of a much larger tent than intended, heavier also. If you need more details feel free to inquire and I will give them to you preferably in private.
