Born in Iowa. Overseer of Mexico. His nephew Alan now runs Mexico with influence in Central America. Clarence was visiting in Australia and died over there during convention rounds.

A very memorable worker. I didn't personally know him, but heard him speak several times. He was easy to listen to and seemed so kind and gentle.

I knew him. One of the softest, kindest workers I ever knew. He used to sit with me at conv. and help with my Spanish homework between mtgs. He helped me learn to speak it better. I corresponded with him for a long long time. Chelsea, Oklahoma conv always was best when Clarence was there. Kind of amusing now to think about the stark contrast between Clarence and Charlie Mitchell. Charlie was outspoken and gruff while Clarence was soft and tender.
