There comes a time in your life, when you walk away from all the drama and people who create it. Forget the bad and focus on the good. Falling down is a part of life, getting back up is living." José N. Harris that sounds more like end of life stuff not everyone is there yet....

Like a fine wine, you get better with age , as long as you remember when to put a cork in it.
I think a few on TMB would get better if they put a cork in it.

Thinking of the many who have lost loved ones lately , also as my stepmom brother died today , from Covid . Imagine the courage , of Joey as she sang this song for Rory . It was written , by Joey s friend , as she was caring for her dying mama m.youtube.com/watch?v=A9lzYdPq1PA

slowtosee,

Would be VERY interesting to hear each person on this boards personal “ “testimony” of what all happened in their life It would help us understand each other better . Soooo easy for me. In my prejudice , to make judgements etc , and then when you get to understand a persons story of their life and where they come from - wow - not limited to “poor” people either - lots of grim stories of people who were victims of affluence also Alvin than

Well we have to change somethings . Mom’s care home has asked to switch her to pants , like work out pants . Sweat pants to keep her warmer . Kick back from mom was huge . But we understand these things happen . So they were dropped off yesterday . I guess that is a example of her faith . Regardless sadly I agree . She is fierce sometimes 2 me . She doesn’t do that with the others involved . Big change at 87 years old .

I’m slowly learning that even if I react, it won’t change anything, it won’t make people suddenly love and respect me, it won’t magically change their minds. Sometimes it’s better to just let things be, let people go, don’t fight for closure, don’t ask for explanations, don’t chase answers and don’t expect people to understand where you’re coming from. I’m slowly learning that life is better lived when you don’t center it on what’s happening around you and center it on what’s happening inside you instead. Work on yourself and your inner peace.

m.youtube.com/watch?v=ejjTrFm-AcoHow to make sense of your life . It is our knowledge of the start, the finish, the objective, and the rules of the game that provide us with the freedom to play it and enjoy it in a meaningful way. If you don’t have the answers to those four fundamental questions, all you can do on the field is pretend, and hope no one notices that you have no idea what you’re doing or why you’re doing it. Listened to this helpful interesting message this morning, by Vince vitale Alvin

www.yahoo.com/lifestyle/world-second-oldest-person-celebrated-225800491.htmla bit of a drinker but what the hey... born in 1904 2 years after my grandma 3 years after my grandpa. she would have seen the most changes(i think)just like my grandparents. cars, TV, radio, Movies, Electricity, indoor plumbing, records, the most deadly flu ever in 1918, WWI, WWII, the bomb, jets, the moon landing, medicine/medical advancements, average age of death world wide in 1900 was 31 now its about 79, the computer age and more.

Barely the day started and... it's already six in the evening. Barely arrived on Monday and it's already Friday. ... and the month is already over. ... and the year is almost over. ... and already 40, 50 or 60 years of our lives have passed. ... and we realize that we lost our parents, friends. and we realize it's too late to go back... So... Let's try, despite everything, to enjoy the remaining time... Let's keep looking for activities that we like... Let's put some color in our grey... Let's smile at the little things in life that put balm in our hearts. And despite everything, we must continue to enjoy with serenity this time we have left. Let's try to eliminate the afters... I'm doing it after... I'll say after... I'll think about it after... We leave everything for later like ′′ after ′′ is ours. Because what we don't understand is that: Afterwards, the coffee gets cold... Afterwards, priorities change... Afterwards, the charm is broken... Afterwards, health passes... Afterwards, the kids grow up... Afterwards parents get old... Afterwards, promises are forgotten... Afterwards, the day becomes the night... Afterwards life ends... And then it's often too late.... So... Let's leave nothing for later... Because still waiting see you later, we can lose the best moments, the best experiences, best friends, the best family.
The day is today... The moment is now... We are no longer at the age where we can afford to postpone what needs to be done right away.

If the mountain seems too big today, then climb a hill instead If the morning brings you sadness, it's okay to stay in bed If the day ahead weighs heavy and your plans feel like a curse There's no shame in rearranging, don't make yourself feel worse If a shower stings like needles and bath feels like you'll drown If you haven't washed your hair for days, Don't throw away your crown. A day is not a lifetime, a rest is not defeat Don't think of it as failure, just a quiet, kind retreat. It's okay to take a moment, from an anxious fractured mind The world will not stop turning, while you get realigned. The mountain will still be there when you want to try again, Just love yourself till then.
