Thanks Gill for continuing to post hymns, they are great. I look for them each morning here in Australia, great way to start the day playing a hymn. And the one thing that serves to unite Christians, are hymns. Trust everybody enjoys them the way we do.

Someone should tell that organist there's a guy hiding in the first pew, crouched down with a cap on backwards.

Author Emily Grimes-Crawford 1868-1927 England; Anglican In 1893, she went as a missionary to Pondoland in South Africa, where in 1904 she married Dr. T. W. W. Crawford, an Anglican minister with the Christian Missionary Society of Kikuyu in British East Africa. While in South Africa, she penned a couple of hymns. Original Vs 4 & 8 not included in Hymns Old and New and some other hymnals. All 8 verses were in the 1909 Go-Preacher's Hymn Book but it wasn't published commercially until 1919-1920 and then had 7 verses. 4 Satiate my being, With Thy fullness fill; As the dew descending, Let Thy speech distil. 8 Like a watered garden Full of fragrance rare, Lingering in Thy presence Let my life appear. I was told by the head honcho that this was an evil site and to steer clear of it so if I am going to be on here I cannot use my own name. Next best thing is a fondly remembered man.

To take the name of someone who is no longer around to speak for themselves when it appears they are posting statements they may not have agreed with when alive?
There is an almost infinite number of ID's you can create that doesn't involve person that has really lived at one time
