Who won the election? Will the agreement with DUP be long lasting? Who did the Friends vote for?
Interesting. We could take a poll of TMB UK members to see who TMB would elect.

No party won an outright majority so no party can really claim to have won the election. Indeed the Conservative party Prime Minister who called the election (when she didn't need to) said that if she lost six seats she would have lost the election and she lost a lot more than that. So no winner there, it seems.
As to whether the agreement with the DUP will be long lasting, at this moment in time no agreement has yet been finalised. However presuming one is reached in the coming days, it is unlikely to last long. The idea of doing a deal with the DUP is repulsive to many in the Conservative party given the DUP's blatant sectarianism, it's position on issues such as climate change, women's rights, LGBT rights and capital punishment and, of course, its links with armed murder groups (which it tends to try to deny). In (most of) the UK it does not look good to be doing deals with such a party particularly when many of its senior members spend their spare time engaging in the rituals of a bizarre 18th century anti-catholic organisation and who believe the earth is less than 6000 years old.
As to who the friends vote for, it will vary in different parts of the UK. The UK is ultimately a union of two parts, Great Britain and Northern Ireland and different political parties run in each part reflecting the different political environments. In Northern Ireland the DUP would traditionally have a lot of support among the friends although I expect this is more in sympathy with their political views rather than their religious ones given that, according to strict 2x2 doctrine, their churches are false and consequently they are bound for hell in a hand cart. Which is similar to what many in the DUP have (traditionally) thought about Catholics. Matt10

So far, TMB is voting for a coalition between Labour, LD and SNP.
Is there no support for DUP on TMB?
Interesting in what it's telling us about the UK Friends. Thinkers, maybe.

I don't believe in God etc but an arrangement between the Tories and DUP would be like the devil getting into bed with satan. No good will come of this.
