I attended a gospel meeting conducted by Peter Hingeley. He was very critical of other people's religions. He came across as very arrogant and self satisfied person. Not as he claimed to be servant of God. Shame on him. Well i dont think that it helps him much by putting it here, perhaps you should write a letter to him pointing out his short fall and who knows, it may cause him to ponder and examine his approach, you know , give some feed back. I personally am not an exclusivist, I dont like the idea of running down other churches and exhaulting ours, because we share some of the bad and unacceptable behaviour that can be found in some other churches, which brings our church down to their level.God loves the truth. I will speak the truth and speak it ever, cost me what it will.An internal examination would be a worthwhile exercise. If you really want to speak the truth, cost you what it will, perhaps it might be better if you wrote him a letter pointing out why you believe his exclusivity is flawed and why you think he is is wrong to run down other churches. You could also explain how you as a former exclusive, took the journey to non-exclusiveness but why you as a non-exclusive, have chosen to continue to belong to his exclusive church (whose fundamental doctrine you disagree with) rather than join one of the many non-exclusive alternatives (with whom you agree). You could also explain (sensitively) why you think he's been a fool to forsake the opportunity of a career, a home, a wife, a family, an education and a very rewarding life to become a 2x2 preacher when he could just as readily have had all those things (and more) as a preacher in a non-exclusive church and still would have received no less a heavenly reward. Matt10

Matt10 My dear friend, you are passing the buck as well, you are at liberty to do the same, and how do you know what I have or have not done in the past? How do you know who I correspond with privately? You give yourself a lot of liberty of expression here without adequate knowledge but lots of supposition. Tipical of some posters on this forum. Punching in the dark with the hope of making a connection with the target- a lot of hot air stuff letting off steam.
