You're still on the "deserved it" streak. Do you read anything anyone else writes? Who do you think it is that said the girl deserved it? It happened, logically and legally, she didn't deserve it, it's just what it is.
If you agree that Babbit didn't deserve it, do you support the officer who wasn't charged for killing an unarmed civilian? I simply have trouble blowing it off as "it's just what it is"... It was a cold blooded murder by a cop who was in no danger from an unarmed lady.
It must suck being you.

Not really, Christians just have a conscience that escapes nonbelievers... When we see unarmed ladies shot to death, it bothers us... I'm guessing that's all Greek to you?

So you are going to try and play the Christian card, are you Dan?
I don't think that card is going to help you much, -not with the some of the attitudes that you present.

The officer with the gun warned her to back off, and she defied him. Yet you think he could holster his gun then handcuff an angry defiant woman while her buddies came streaming through? You're not thinking this through sensibly, and I suspect it’s because you and Dan are brainwashed by far-right propaganda. you didn't watch the video did ya. there was NO warning that i could hear from that officer. and as the video shows NO ONE was streaming through. sensible and brainwashed indeed... What I saw in the video was a bunch of thugs intimidating police officers who were standing in front of the locked and barracaded doors, while the insurrectionists were chanting "break it down". The police were pleading for them to go home and saying "we don't want anyone to get hurt!" I also saw the policeman on the inside of the locked and barracaded doors pointing his gun while people shouted several times "there's a gun!". I feel very sorry for Ashli Babbitt but only an idiot would break through barracaded doors into a restricted area defended by a police officer holding a gun in plain sight. There's no way that the speakers lobby could have been defended with handcuffs. The fact that 140 officers were wounded tells me the police tried very hard to defend the lawmakers without the use of deadly force.

It seems that the likes of Wally and Dan cannot handle that their God Trump lost the erection and has enormous feet of clay. Their God Trump with his bone spurs would never have the balls to lead from the front. Once again he conned the stupid and gullible into believing his twisted fantasy.

Dan, don't be silly. You don't have to deserve to get your brains blown out to make it happen. You don't have to deserve to get killed for innocently walking out in front of passing car. What makes you think anyone here thought she deserved what she got? Ashli was as deserving of what happened to her as you would be to be sneaking around some dark gang infested back alley on south side Chicago at night. You sound like Wally blaming someone for her bad choices.
If everyone deserved to be killed for making a wrong decision, we'd all be dead. The reason any civilized country has law & order is to protect and prevent people from being killed just for making a poor choice.
Unfortunately, the policeman in DC responsible for protecting & preserving the life of a civilian, instead became the judge, jury, and executioner. I still maintain that the girl didn't deserve to die, the punishment didn't fit the crime. And as previously mention, a little pepper spray would have likely been enough to force Babbit to reverse course and crawl back out of the window. Saying it was her bad luck for being in the wrong place at the wrong time just doesn't justify a bullet to the head. She probably would have withdrawn if the cop just fired a warning shot.
I agree with your thesis, and I can see that it's possible the officer let his fear and emotion cloud his reason. Or maybe he was a blood-thirsty miscreant - who can tell? Based on your reasoning, may I assume you support the conviction of police officer Derek Chauvin?

It could be argued the only way to get the message through to those idiots was to shoot someone. I clearly heard warning of the gun at least four times. For Dan: the video starts with lawmakers visible in the lobby. The police in the video were the last line of defence. They stood between the terrorists baying for blood and the lawmakers who were going about their constitutional duty. www.youtube.com/watch?v=tGh5_wlS8Uw

They were advocating that we let our voices be heard for the freedom & the justice that the U.S. is suppose to stand for .. It is our right to do so and it written in the Constitution of the United States.
PS: Why the hell would you be trying to crawl through one of my windows?
I have a door, two of them in fact.
would you expect me to Greet you with coffee and cookies?

It gets pretty hard to ignore a pile of B.U.L.L S.H.I.T which is that high.
It begins to smell something terrible and the sight of of it isn't pleasant either.
Seemingly your point of view was as a Capital policeman who is suppose to keep the Capital and it's inhabitants safe, -that instead of doing so he should have allowed the woman to make an "unauthorized" entrance through a broken window that had just been smashed in by a mob?
If you cannot understand what was happening, I think it is beyond my ability to enlighten you.
Had the tables been turned and it was your own people being endangered, I expect you would be complaining, - but would have wanted her hanged, drawn & quartered on the spot.

No comparison what ever. Thank the powers that be that you don't make the laws we have to live by.
You know very well, Dan, - that you only keep hounding about this one issue because your Trump didn't get elected.
You could find only one 'nit to pick' at because you can't find anything else and you determined to pick at it 'til it is frazzled to lint,

Babbitt could easily have had a weapon - how was the policeman to know whether she was armed or not? Would you be happier if the police had shot the people who were using weapons to break the windows and doors? A peaceful protest doesn't break doors and windows and injure 140 police officers. If handcuffs and pepper spray are so good at stopping violent attacks, why are police issued with guns? Overall the police did well to limit the loss of life while keeping lawmakers safe.
