Must be a modern day miracle, like the loaves and fishes. Yes, and in your avatar it looks like somebody is trying to perform a miracle too by walking from the edge of the cliff to cloud 9. Wow! This is a miracle, it came out twice!

There was water/rivers but no rain! before the FLOOD.The ladies upstream must have been pumping really hard out of those deep wells up there. Well, geeze, Bob! Of course they were! How did you think the earth became hollow?

Come on, Nathan. The Bible does not say that God left the ark there in the mountain for all that time just so people today would know that there was a flood. The Bible doesn't say that at all. You just made something up about God doing something so you would sound authoritative. Well, it is my own opinion... You can believe it or NOT. I have mine and you have yours. Well, the Ark was on MT. Ararat after the Flood. I don't believe it was landed there by chance on MT. Ararat at 4000 meter level, where the Ark has been preserved for 5000 yrs and someday to be discovered to dispel all doubters that the world wide Flood didn't happen.
People say the Flood was a myth! So, Where is the Ark? Well, the Bible said it landed on MT. Ararat... If it on MT. Ararat we should find it, right?
Here it is......
~~ In 2010 Noah's Ark founded by the Chinese expedition on Mt. Ararat/Turkey 2010. They entered the Ark and they brought back many proof, pictures, video, the Ark's wood (3:00).www.youtube.com/watch?v=FNnkrlQ69EEYou're not listening. All I told you was that the Bible doesn't say God left the ark there so that we would find it and believe. I don't care what you believe about anything -- just don't say the Bible says something it doesn't.

Was there NO RAIN before the flood?Question: I was told that there was no rain on earth before the Flood of Noah. Is this true? Answer: The scripture that mentions no rain before the flood is found in Genesis 2.
When the Lord God made the universe, there were no plants on the earth and no seeds had sprouted, because he had not sent any rain . . . but water would come up from beneath the surface and water the ground. (verses 5 - 6)
According to some, this condition only lasted until shortly after the creation events mentioned in Genesis 1. If this is true, then this fog and mist began the hydrologic cycle, which eventually led to rain and this condition was only short-lived. On the other hand, there are other factors to consider that lead one to believe there were no showers before Noah's flood.
The timing of the formation of rainbows offers evidence that it did not rain on the earth until after the deluge.
Verse 12 As a sign of this everlasting covenant which I am making with you and with all living beings, 13 I am putting my bow (rainbow) in the clouds. It will be the sign of my covenant with the world. 14 Whenever I cover the sky with clouds and the rainbow appears, 15 I will remember my promise to you.
If it had not rained until after the deluge then rainbows "in the cloud," would be a new phenomena. They would not have existed pre-deluge since they are created by the refraction of light passing through suspended water (water drops). It seems likely that God used the new phenomena known as rainbows as a 'reminder' to both him and man of the promise made right after the deluge. www.biblestudy.org/question/no-rain-before-flood.html If the scripture says there was no rain, then the scripture is wrong. Simple as that. Same for a world wide flood. totally impossible for that to happen.

Without the Flood/water there wouldn't be ANY rainbow today! There was NO rainbow before the flood. There was NO rain before the flood, so there wouldn't be any rainbow, period. The rainbow appeared AFTER the flood because God made it as a covenant with Noah. The Rainbow was God's promised to mankind and all animals He wouldn't Flood the earth again with Water. Genesis 2:10-14 And a river went out of Eden to water the garden; and from thence it was parted, and became into four heads. The name of the first is Pison: that is it which compasseth the whole land of Havilah, where there is gold; And the gold of that land is good: there is bdellium and the onyx stone. And the name of the second river is Gihon: the same is it that compasseth the whole land of Ethiopia. And the name of the third river is Hiddekel: that is it which goeth toward the east of Assyria. And the fourth river is Euphrates. NathanB - without some sort of water transport, where did the water for these 4 rivers come from? So those rivers covered the part of the world which is covered in the bible but I would like to know about all the other rivers in the world. It says in the bible that there was no rain before the flood Nathan B, but what about snow?

Ararat as evidence for all to see, it was my opinion. If you don't care what I believe on anything I write, then DON'T make any comment any of my posts from now on, bob. Put me on your ignore list, and I will do the same, then both of us are happy. I wonder who it was who said that God left the ark there for us to find in our day.

None of it makes sense but I guess it has to be believed in order to believe in a worldwide flood.

The earth, the mammoths, Dinosaurs, etc have been here for millions of years etc... Adam and Eve homo sapiens race created by Elohim God 6000 yrs ago. How about the Clovis culture in North America going back 11,000 years. Were they not human? en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Clovis_culture

I believe there were human races such as Neanderthals, and others like them had existed before Adam and Eve. now i am confused nathan this would refute genesis story of creation. are you saying that God created a special human species after creating general human beings?

I don't know the purpose or who created of different human races, demigods existed before Adam and Eve race.... But this I know that God had chosen Christ to die for our Salvation through Adam and Eve descendants.
According to Enoch... The fallen angels were into genetic tempering with Dinosaurs, reptiles, fish, and birds, and with humans= demigods before and after God created Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden 6000 yrs ago.
Nathan if there were Neanderthal Cro Magdon etc. they were during some of the ice ages. How do you explain that? You said they were created before the Adam and Eve bunch and that there was no rain or snow before the flood, yet there were ice ages way before 6000 years ago. I think this story is very confused.

Now Nathan, try and do some mental exercise for me. Rivers flow from catchments. A river flows at a particular rate which rises and falls with the amount of water available. Under the Genesis model, this water is replenished by dew. Dew would be absorbed by the earth and provide moisture for plants and so on. What is left may find its way to the river. So if these rivers are chortling along as they do, how much dew would have to fall to keep the river flowing? A measurement in mm's per hour will be fine. In the common sense model, moisture falls as either snow or rain. Snow melts over a period of time or in higher mountainous areas becomes locked up in glaciers which slowly make their way down valley before breaking up, melting and doing the chortling thing all the way to the ocean or lake where transpiration happens, clouds consisting of moisture form which are blown by wind somewhere and then released as moisture. I'm really keen to know how much moisture falls as dew to keep some of these vast rivers going. XNA, I like your question about the mammoth, how does something die so long and get preserved in the ice when there is no ice? The other interesting statement in Genesis is about the four rivers. These cover only one segment of the earth. Were the other rivers invented later or what?

The bible's first books cover quite a small geographic area and were written as rules and guidelines for only a small number of people. As later books were added around the time of Jesus, one can see that horizons had expanded just a little. There is still the rest of humanity existing all over the rest of the earth that doesn't get a mention at all. 2x2ism exclusivity can be seen mirrored in the bible right from the beginning.

If the Ice age happened way before 6000 yrs ago then it would have been ALL MELT when the flood covered the whole earth. The Ice age happened after the flood and it buried the mammoths in Siberia.the date for Noah's Flood would be around 2348 BC. www.creationtips.com/flooddate.htmlNathan the last ice age was approx 11,000 years ago. Way before what you believe was a world wide flood.

That's true Wally, but how are the underground aquifers charged with water? Answer: Rainfall and snowfall. Canterbury, NZ has many aquifers, all this water starts high in the mountains and as it flows eastwards some leaks through the porous gravels which make up the plains. This water eventually reaches the coast via these underground aquifers or is utilized by farmers and urban dwellers who have drilled wells to access it. Even water in most cave systems can all be traced to rainwater and snowfall. Geology sure is interesting.

Nathan the last ice age was approx 11,000 years ago. Way before what you believe was a world wide flood. If the Ice age happened 11,000 yrs ago. 2500 B.C Noah's world wide flood covered the whole earth would have melted all of the Ice.Here is the highest peak in the world, as measured from sea level. Name Country Continent Meters Feet Mount Everest China, Nepal Asia 8,850 29,035 How long did the water remain on the earth?370 days or some say 1 year and 10 days.... 40 -- the number of days it rained (Gen 7:17) 110 -- the number of days "the waters prevailed on the earth" (Gen 7:24) 73 -- the number days the waters "decreased" ( Gen 8:4,5) 40 -- assuming "end of forty days" followed the previous 73 days (Gen 8:6) 7 -- days waiting for the dove to return 7-- days waiting for the second time he sent out the dove 7 -- days waiting till he sent out the third dove 29 -- days needed to finish out "601 year, 1st month, 1st day" (Gen 8:13) 57 --days needed to finish out "2nd month, 27th day, the earth was dried" " www.answers.com/Q/How_long_did_Noah%27s_flood_last Maybe instead of trying to fit the flood in to figure out the ice age, you should accept that the world wide flood never happened and the ice age was 11,000 years ago. There are so many reasons why the myth of a world wide flood just doesn't work.
