---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Dimmchgood while I respect you as a person your questions sometimes irk the crap out of me because instead of allowing dialogue to flow you jump up and down to state your case. If I dont answer you jump higher. lets look back at ancient times where artists painted what they saw. Angels, chariots in the sky, enities with halos fire in the sky etc etc Jesus ,the sun. Serpents gods etc. How do you think artists (k)new what to paint? They saw it or they dreamed it. With open visions or closed visions.it tells a story of life back then. because we didnt understand what they saw doesnt mean it didnt happen. well yea physics is great. Wish inunderstood the subject more. I predict one day you might be surprised.

Would you mind if I dont answer part of this question @ the moment? W hen you say true or not true I dont understand the question. Do you mean real? Or are you asking good or bad?One statement I will make is I do believe in the holy spirit. The reason being is I believe in the power of my God. Holy spirit is the power.
Please, You certainly don't need to answer any of my questions if they 'irk the crap out of you.'
Except how can I let the dialogue "flow," as you say, if I don't know what you think or believe about certain issues?
As to ancient paintings, so do you believe that the artists actually painted what they saw? "Angels, chariots in the sky, enities with halos fire in the sky etc etc.Jesus the sun. Serpents gods etc."
If so, Shouldn't they see those same things today? Why wouldn't they paint those same things now? (Of course they often do)
(BTW, Do you see those things?)
I have a son who is an artist & he paints a lot of things that he really doesn't "see!"
As to the questions, I meant by the word true, do those supernatural beings "exist?" Are they "real"?
But you needn't answer. My posts aren't meant to be a laxative!

Quote:oldest con game... Keep up darlin! Ah! Of course! I try to keep up, honestly I do. I try to keep the little grey cells working.
I'm 82 and I do 'mind exercises' like crossword puzzles etc.
I still can spot a "con" game a mile away! (in spite of poor eyesight!) I was "conned" by religion too much of my life! Not going to let that happen again!

the answer is Christ is Gods son, God is real, and hes coming back again...it didn't come to me overnight though it was a few months...and much prayer, reading and contemplation... the answer is Christ is Gods son, God is real, and hes coming back again...it didn't come to me overnight though it was a few months...and much prayer, reading and contemplation... Wally, then this is your answer to my question of how do you pick which supernatural being is true & which one's aren't true? That it is how you decide though much prayer, reading and contemplation...
Is there anything else other than prayer, reading and contemplation... that you can give for you belief?
Do you believe that when someone else gives the same reason for how they came to their belief through much prayer, reading and contemplation... yet their belief was different, -say a belief of Islam , that their belief would also be accurate? PROVE IT! i believe that satan is quite powerful and has lead many astray from God and Christ so no i don't believe that if someone gives the same reasons to follow fairies, goblins or islam that they are right... satan is the great deceiver and the father of lies thats why we have 40,000 christian denominations and 3,000 religions he's good at what he does...

b]Have you ever found anything supernatural provable? Supernatural. Another dimension not the 3rd. Unseen. Provable? It isn't "natural," so how can any super-natural person or event be proven? <snip> Bubbles , you still haven't answered the questions: " If a person believes in even one supernatural being at what point do you say any of the others aren't true ?
How do you pick which supernatural being is true & which one's aren't true? How many of the ones that I spoke of do YOU believe in?"

I'd like to answer this ...for me: If a person believes in even one supernatural being at what point do you say any of the others aren't true ?

I believe in the Judeo-Christian God. Because He is Almighty God, any others, if they exist, are lesser, so I really don't need to give time to considering them. (Sorry for the mess in the quote box. I tried 3 times to fix it, but finally just had to leave out a lot.)

Wouldn't A person who believes in the Judeo-Christian God need to attempt to explain their belief in a "supernatural" being & "supernatural" happenings, while at the same time dismissing all other "supernatural" beings from past history?Actually, "supernatural" being & "supernatural" happenings, are much older than the Christian god of Jesus.

But I don't have to dismiss or deny other gods - only believe that "my" God is greater. (Incidentally, I believe Jesus is the Son of God and was, is and will be eternal, so no,the others aren't older, imo.)
