I don't know. I'll have a look for you and post anything I find. it seems fishy to me. I don't think the "china Syndrome", for example, is anything more than a movie plot. I wondered about that. I've been hearing bits and pieces of the steam that's been seen lately, starting Dec. 19 then again closer to Christmas. This one seems a little more credible wafflesatnoon.com/2014/01/02/fukushima-steam/This is from the Tokyo Electric Power company. It was in Japanese and I got it translated. If the link is still in Japanese, get it to translate. www.tepco.co.jp/nu-news/2013/1233168_5304.html

One site even had a map of the antipode where thw nuclear waste would exit. Imagine that almost 8,000 iles through the earth. Must be flowing through those reptilian tunnels Nathan told us about. Damn those reptiles! Always go with your gut! What a surprise.

This is one of the best documentaries I have found that teaches people of religion about what some atheists think and believe.

This is one of the best documentaries I have found that teaches people of religion about what some atheists think and believe. Yes obviously it is a personalized account. But I did think it was well done. I've watched some that are very sarcastic and though somewhat educational, would lose a theist in the first few minutes. That isn't too effective if educating a theist about an atheist is the goal.

What a cool video to watch. However, I doubt I would attempt some of those sports. The cat do a high dive from the airplane was cute!

This little blurb has been circulating around facebook today. I read it and all I could think was this: What was God saving the little child from that was the victim of CSA today? This kind of stuff really makes me wonder if people are thinking.
Me: God, can I ask You a question?
God: Sure
Me: Promise You won't get mad
God: I promise
Me: Why did You let so much stuff happen to me today?
God: What do u mean?
Me: Well, I woke up late
God: Yes
Me: My car took forever to start
God: Okay
Me: at lunch they made my sandwich wrong & I had to wait
God: Huummm
Me: On the way home, my phone went DEAD, just as I picked up a call
God: All right
Me: And on top of it all off, when I got home ~I just want to soak my feet in my new foot massager & relax. BUT it wouldn't work!!! Nothing went right today! Why did You do that?
God: Let me see, the death angel was at your bed this morning & I had to send one of My Angels to battle him for your life. I let you sleep through that
Me (humbled): OH
GOD: I didn't let your car start because there was a drunk driver on your route that would have hit you if you were on the road.
Me: (ashamed)
God: The first person who made your sandwich today was sick & I didn't want you to catch what they have, I knew you couldn't afford to miss work.
Me (embarrassed):Okay
God: Your phone went dead because the person that was calling was going to give false witness about what you said on that call, I didn't even let you talk to them so you would be covered.
Me (softly): I see God
God: Oh and that foot massager, it had a shortage that was going to throw out all of the power in your house tonight. I didn't think you wanted to be in the dark.
Me: I'm Sorry God
God: Don't be sorry, just learn to Trust Me.... in All things , the Good & the bad.
Me: I will trust You.
God: And don't doubt that My plan for your day is Always Better than your plan.
Me: I won't God. And let me just tell you God, Thank You for Everything today.
God: You're welcome child. It was just another day being your God and I Love looking after My Children...

I guess what bothers me the most is the lack of thought put into it. And yes, it is a very self-absorbed POV

Yes, I agree. It doesn't look at all the things that do happen that really can't be explained away because God was saving you from something worse. There is always the people that do experience the 'worst'. Whatever that may be defined as I guess.

Different subject. Still reading the book Huston Smith Reader and in what I read today they are talking about the early 'primitive' concept of the sacred. The early people saw the sacred in everything. Rocks, water, plants and animals, all were spirits and everyone had access to them. They 'belonged' to no one. The sacred was all around available and accessible to everyone without a need to believe in anything in particular. No one could claim they 'owned' God or the sacred. As people and the sacred evolved, they took this concept and wove them all into one God and then took possession of that particular 'God concept'. Exclusivity then was born. Concepts of actually being able to not worship the right God was born. The sacred and divine became something people claimed was their's only.
