It was after the Soviets launched Sputnik
In 1958 that NACA organized a "Special Committee on Space Technology."
The U.S. Congress & President Dwight D. Eisenhower and his advisers counseled The National Advisory Committee for Aeronautics (NACA) for more deliberate measures after the Soviets launched Sputnik.

I suggest you research the truth about how Nuns are treated As far as I know they volunteer for the job. They do and not unlike some sister workers innocent, a heart to serve their lord become victims to the lust of others |
