“The four most dangerous words in investing are: ‘this time it’s different.'” – Sir John Templeton gee where have we heard that before? right, socialism or communism's little brother "this time it’s different"... Wally, -have you read my thread about "Nazi Socialism?" Remember awhile back I told you I would post something soon about it?
Hitler's Beneficiaries: Plunder, Racial War, and the Nazi Welfare State is a book by author GöTz Aly.
It explains why Hitler and the NAZI's used the term "Socialism" in their name. It tells just how they were able to finance their welfare state!
They did not use their own money. They bled the rest of European countries dry as they captured country after country.

What will you do when you discover the truth is no longer a conspiracy theory. And it was knocking on your door for months Amen! I have been telling them on here for a long, long time.... It's NOT a conspiracy theories but factual but they are doubting Thomas and unbelievers... it will be a miracle when they see.

He does prefer "manly" religions. In 2016, the largest religious group in Manly was Western (Roman) Catholic. The beach is not as good as what it's cracked up to be.

The parachute descent time sounds wrong. I have skydivers, mainly tandem, jumping from anything up to 15000 feet, often above my house. It does not take them 15 minutes to hit the deck out at the airport.

Falun Gong have been protesting near the Australian Federal Parliamrnt for donkeys years. They claim persecution by communist China which may be true. To me they sound just like any other wacky cult such as Pastafarian or Christian.

"For months, Trinity Foundation has investigated televangelists receiving Paycheck Protection Program forgivable loans. Our findings: At least $78.6 million in loans were given to religious TV networks, independent religious TV stations, TV preachers, and churches/media ministries with national TV programs. The total would exceed $82 million if we include churches with 24/7 streaming channels in the same class as television. Trinity Broadcasting of Texas received a loan of $3.3 million even though its parent organization may have close to $500 million invested in securities." ministrywatch.com/trinity-foundation-investigation/

When you read that you can understand people being upset about the wealth of some ministers while people starve in the street

The Three Christs of Ypsilanti (1964) is a book-length psychiatric case study by Milton Rokeach, concerning his experiment on a group of three paranoid schizophrenics at Ypsilanti State Hospital[1] in Ypsilanti, Michigan. The book details the interactions of the three patients—Clyde Benson, Joseph Cassel, and Leon Gabor—each of whom believed himself to be Jesus Christ.

4 In 10 Republicans Say Political Violence May Be Necessary "The mob that attacked the U.S. Capitol may have been a fringe group of extremists, but politically motivated violence has the support of a significant share of the U.S. public, according to a new survey by the American Enterprise Institute.
The survey found that nearly three in 10 Americans, including 39% of Republicans, agreed that "if elected leaders will not protect America, the people must do it themselves, even if it requires violent actions."

New details about Trump-McCarthy shouting match show Trump refused to call off the rioters
"Washington (CNN)In an expletive-laced phone call with House Republican leader Kevin McCarthy while the Capitol was under attack, then-President Donald Trump said the rioters cared more about the election results than McCarthy did.
"Well, Kevin, I guess these people are more upset about the election than you are," Trump said, according to lawmakers who were briefed on the call afterward by McCarthy.
McCarthy insisted that the rioters were Trump's supporters and begged Trump to call them off. Trump's comment set off what Republican lawmakers familiar with the call described as a shouting match between the two men. A furious McCarthy told the President the rioters were breaking into his office through the windows, and asked Trump, "Who the f--k do you think you are talking to?" according to a Republican lawmaker familiar with the call.
The newly revealed details of the call, described to CNN by multiple Republicans briefed on it, provide critical insight into the President's state of mind as rioters were overrunning the Capitol. The existence of the call and some of its details have been previously reported and discussed publicly by McCarthy. The Republican members of Congress said the exchange showed Trump had no intention of calling off the rioters even as lawmakers were pleading with him to intervene. Several said it amounted to a dereliction of his presidential duty."

Wally, I wonder why you you can't see the difference between your constant rants and the invasion of the very seat of our democracy, -our nation's federal Capital and the mob threatening to kill members of that legislative body?
That was nothing less than an act of anarchy, -a state of lawlessness and further more incited by the President of that same democracy who also kept claiming to be of the party of "law and order."
There simple is no comparison between the two!

There simple is no comparison between the two!and your compatriots riots over all of 2020 were NOT acts of anarchy, and states of lawlessness? sure(sarcasm intended). your pals scope was coast to coast. the jan 6th 2021 riot covered a few blocks in 1 city around a few buildings for less than 1 day...the comparison stands...good try though

PS: Why are saying to me "your compatriots?" or "your pals?"
I did not approve of their action, -in spirit or in body and I had nothing to do with those people who rioted.
But wally, - from the way you talk, can I assume that you DID approve of the rioters at the Capital building at least in spirit if not in body? Or maybe you even there in body?
Which one were you, -the guy with the horns or the one with his feet propped on Nancy's desk?

i don't remember many(if any) negative comments coming from you and a few on TMB about your pals riots in all of 2020. in fact you would only call them "protesters" at least i call what my side did a "riot". the only inability to see clearly is happening in your court...

There simple is no comparison between the two! There is some seriously large doses of "whataboutism" infecting a heap of people in the USA at the moment. However, It is Trump up before the beak, not any of these others.

The real problem was that all summer (2020), riots in major cities went unopposed, and were condoned/supported by liberals in big cities. So it should have been no surprise that people began to think that when they weren't happy about something, its acceptable to just tear the hell out of a place. If what happened in DC had happened anywhere else, you would not have heard a peep out of liberal politicians. The people who raided the capital building were just doing the same thing they had been witnessing for months. While I don't condone any of it, it may have been necessary to bring the problem home to the law makers who up until January 6th, could have cared less until the problem got up-close and personal. It still amuses me on how fast they went from chanting, "Defund the Police" to "Help, We need more Police".

well the greatest mercy i have ever heard of was God sending Christ to die for us on the cross that we might have eternal life instead of damnation. he did not say that life would be easy all of the time or even most of the time with that mercy being given. this verse comes to mind though: Rom 9:18 Therefore hath he mercy on whom he will have mercy, and whom he will he hardeneth.

“I spent an hour in the bank with my dad, as he had to transfer some money. I couldn't resist myself and asked... ''Dad, why don't we activate your internet banking?'' ''Why would I do that?'' He asked... ''Well, then you won't have to spend an hour here for things like transfer. You can even do your shopping online. Everything will be so easy!'' I was so excited about initiating him into the world of Net banking. He asked ''If I do that, I wont have to step out of the house? ''Yes, yes''! I said. I told him how even grocery can be delivered at door now and how amazon delivers everything! His answer left me tongue-tied. He said ''Since I entered this bank today, I have met four of my friends, I have chatted a while with the staff who know me very well by now. You know I am alone...this is the company that I need. I like to get ready and come to the bank. I have enough time, it is the physical touch that I crave. Two years back I got sick, The store owner from whom I buy fruits, came to see me and sat by my bedside and cried. When your Mom fell down few days back while on her morning walk. Our local grocer saw her and immediately got his car to rush her home as he knows where I live. Would I have that 'human' touch if everything became online? Why would I want everything delivered to me and force me to interact with just my computer? I like to know the person that I'm dealing with and not just the 'seller'. It creates bonds of Relationships. Does Amazon deliver all this as well?''' Technology isn't life.. Spend time with people .. Not with devices." Writer: Unknown
