looting, rioting, arson, destroying history and academia, re-introducing segregation(CHOP) etc...etc... You're making them sound like fascists.

Wally!
since when have you cared about "history" and especially "academia?"
I thought that you didn't think that those people in the ivory towers of academia knew what they were talking about?
all the time, why do you think i rail against those involved in dispensing history and such....antifa is just making it even worse than it already is The only reason you dislike the "antifa" is because at heart you are a fascist. Therefore you fear that your position will be eroded by their actions.

What I learned yesterday was worse than any horror story. Out of the mouths of babes.
The day is coming when everyone will believe there was a God after all. It isn't far away.

curious minds want to know! These are so ridiculous they don't even warrant an answer.
But it is the usual silliness that people parrot when they don't have anything to validate their reasons.

Yes, the truth about the racism that still ravages in the US is painful to look at. It's no accident that people like you and me can live our entire lives without ever having to take an honest look at it. For white people an honest look can be as difficult as losing one's religion.

You,yourself are such a perfect example that racism & sexism has not gone away!
That wound that you seem be concerned about is never going to "heal" as long as those attitudes are still around!

You should try this: have your skin temporarily darkened to pass as a black man, as the white journalist John Howard Griffin did and live amongst the blacks for a while.

Afterwards he wrote the book Black Like Me.
It does no matter that you were in the Navy and heard the N word only once.
Many people claim the same. I am talking about "institutional racism" NOT just our individual experiences
Institutional racism (also known as systemic racism) is a form of racism that is embedded as normal practice within society or an organisation.
It can lead to such issues as discrimination in criminal justice, employment, housing, health care, political power and education, among other issues.
The term "institutional racism" was first coined in 1967 by Stokely Carmichael and Charles V. Hamilton in Black Power: The Politics of Liberation.
Carmichael and Hamilton wrote that while individual racism is often identifiable because of its overt nature, institutional racism is less perceptible because of its "less overt, far more subtle" nature.
Institutional racism "originates in the operation of established and respected forces in the society, and thus receives far less public condemnation than [individual racism]".
Institutional racism was defined by Sir William Macpherson in the UK's Lawrence report (1999) as: "The collective failure of an organization to provide an appropriate and professional service to people because of their colour, culture, or ethnic origin. It can be seen or detected in processes, attitudes and behaviour that amount to discrimination through prejudice, ignorance, thoughtlessness and racist stereotyping which disadvantage minority ethnic people."
One of the results of Institutional racism that we are seeing right now is the fact that proportionately more blacks are getting the covid virus than whites.

One of the results of Institutional racism that we are seeing right now is the fact that proportionately more blacks are getting the covid virus than whites. more boogeymen... What "boogeymen"... Wally?
Are you saying that it is NOT true that "proportionately more blacks are getting the Covid 19 virus than whites?"
There are several of the factors of Institutional racism that account for why that "proportionately more blacks are getting the Covid 19 virus than whites."
They are "employment, housing, health care." These three alone can account for the higher rate for blacks getting the virus & dying from it.
Think about it.
Health care: Blacks are less likely to have equal access to preventive medical care, therefore are more apt to have more underlying health conditions.
Employment: discrimination in employment means they are more apt to be in service jobs where they are more in contact with other people.
Housing: they often live in more crowded housing where they have less ability to distant themselves from others.
Actually, the other three do feed into it as well, -discrimination in criminal justice, political power and education. They all work together to put blacks at greater risk for Covid19.
