The Police Service of Northern Ireland are currently investigating allegations of CSA by the former worker, Noel Tanner. The investigating officer is Ms Grace McGonigle at Strand Road Police Station, Londonderry. If you have any information which may assist the investigations, please contact Detective McGonigle on +44 (0) 28 7186 1355. She is particularly keen to hear from Tanner's victims.
Best regards
Robert

Glad to here that investigations are being carried out
I'm not a victim but my loyalty and support is with the victims
It is not easy at all but if you were a victim or can be of any help PLEASE COME FORWARD
We don't want anything similar to happen now or in the future because someone feels the Friends and Workers will be able to cover it up and keep children / people quiet

Glad to hear that at last something is being done. Just wondered how the investigation is going? I do hope that some victims have come forward and that there will soon be closure and healing. Regards.

RJKEE
good to see action being taken after all these years. How you and many suffered for years at his hands
Will thy b able to extradite him from the South to face charges or will he face prosecution in a court down south.
Is it true he has Parkinson's or some other illness.
If so wonder will he use this to his advantage like he used to sign himself in to the psychiatric for treatment when charged in Cork.
We watch with interest

FROM THE UK GOVERNMENT WEBSITE
Publication contempt
Sometimes material is published which risks damaging a trial. This could be in a newspaper, television, radio, website or social media – all are covered by the Contempt of Court Act 1981 (the Act).
Publication can also be something a non-journalist puts out themselves, most often by social media, which then spreads.
Once somebody has been arrested or civil proceedings have started, the Act provides them with protection from publications which may prejudice or impede the course of Justice.
An example of prejudicial material might be information about a suspect or defendant’s previous convictions. There is a danger that if jurors on that case hear about such information outside of the court process it could affect the way they think about a case, or prejudice it so much that a trial cannot take place or has to be stopped. The material could be in contempt of court and the Law Officers can take legal action against those responsible for the publication.

Matt, do you honestly think that any jurors would read TMB? The court will do whatever they choose to do but I would seriously doubt lowly TMB would make any difference. As a character in the Oliver Twist movie said "the Law of England is an ass". So you never know about those Brits.

Is it worth it just to talk on TMB?
