Sometime in the 1970-80's there was a movie about three grown sisters who's mother had died and two of them were sexually abused by their father.
Anyone know what movie I'm thinking of? Thanks.
The family grew up on a farm.
As far as I can remember, the abuse was never talked about, until 10-20 years later. Which is the time frame of this movie.

It's not exactly the right time frame but could it be "A thousand acres"? A book that was made into a movie in 1997. Plot summary Larry Cook is an aging farmer who decides to incorporate his farm, handing complete and joint ownership to his three daughters, Ginny, Rose, and Caroline. When the youngest daughter objects, she is removed from the agreement. This sets off a chain of events that brings dark truths to light and explodes long-suppressed emotions, as the story eventually reveals the long-term sexual abuse of the two eldest daughters that was committed by their father. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/A_Thousand_Acres

That does look like it (How time flies)
After I posted, I got to thinking Jessica Lange may have been in it.
Not sure I'd have found it on my own, I didn't remember why the girls were coming together, incorporation of the farm. I also don't remember the actor that plays the father, I was thinking it was Slim Pickins, or someone similar.
Thanks, I'm bumping it to the top of NetFlix

Two others with similarities: 'The Color Purple' (1985 - Whoopi Goldberg, Oprah Winfrey, Danny Glover) and Delores Claiborne (1995 - Kathy Bates, Jennifer Jason Leigh, Judy Parfitt)
