I am 39 and it says this girl was 41?....we used to go to North Carolina every year when I was growing up and I knew some Trotters...what state is this from??

I think this is actually Pam - used to be Pinney -- of western Nebraska. Ken Pinney's (a worker)sister.

Pam was born June 21, 1970 to JoElla (Leonhardt) Pinney and Glen Pinney of Scottsbluff. Pam was a twin and the oldest daughter. Pam was born and raised in Scottsbluff. She graduated from Scottsbluff High School in 1988. She lived a short while in Cheyenne, Wyo., before marrying Dwight Marshall Trotter of Lawrenceville, Ga., on December 24, 1992. She lived in Alabama, Korea, Nebraska, Georgia, and New Jersey while he was in the military. Pam worked in transcription for many years. Pam finished her studies in Nursing at Ocean County College in December 2009 and was currently employed at Ocean Medical Center in Toms River, N.J. as an RN in oncology/hospice on 4 East. She is survived by her husband, Dwight Trotter, daughter, Rachael Trotter, and son, Jonathan Trotter of the home; father and step mother, Glen & Sheilah Pinney of Roebuck, S.C.; step grandmother, Elaine Pinney of Mitchell; brothers, Benjamin Pinney (Lori) of Ashland, Ill., Kenneth Pinney of Owasso, Okla., Thomas Pinney (Kelli) of Jacksonville, Ill., twin brother Samuel Pinney (Debbie) of Ashland, Ill.; sisters, Tamera (Pinney) Townsend (JaRon) of Walnut Grove, Mo., and Jennifer (Pinney) Wilson (John) of Cumming, Ga. Pam has one step sister, Kimberly Mayfield Pinney and two step brothers, Bill and Jason Mayfield of Roebuck, S.C.; one great uncle, two great aunts, and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Pam is preceded in death by her mother, JoElla Pinney, brother, Timothy Pinney, grandparents, Carl and Dala Leonhardt and Wilma and Edwin Pinney, and a very special aunt Myrtle (March) Leonhardt. There will be a viewing Thursday, Oct 27 from 6-8 p.m. at Lankenau Funeral Home, 31 Elizabeth Street, Pemberton, NJ 08068, and the funeral will be Friday, Oct. 28 at 10 a.m. at Grace Episcopal Church, 43 Elizabeth Street, Pemberton, NJ 08068. Burial will be at General Doyles Cemetery, Arneystown, NJ following the funeral service. In lieu of flowers, an educational trust fund will be set up for her children. Pam was always a sweetheart-- always had a smile. Very sad -- and my heart goes out to her husband and kids.
