Holly Kristina Davis
September 3, 1975 - July 22, 2011
Holly Kristina Davis was born September 3, 1975 in Portland, Oregon and passed away unexpectedly July 22, 2011 in Redmond, Oregon. She is survived by her father, Steve Davis of Sandy, Oregon; her mother, Kris (David) Scharfenberg of Gresham, Oregon; a brother, Phil of Estacada, Oregon and grandmother Rosalie Davis of Gresham, Oregon. She is survived by numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Holly is also survived by Jonathan and Christopher Perry whom she loved dearly and who were an important part of her life.
At an early age, Holly chose to serve the Lord and kept true to that vow throughout her life. Holly graduated from Sandy High School in 1993. Following high school, she worked at Joyful Noise Daycare and Willamette Industries in Portland. Holly had a great love of children and they were always an important part of her life. After moving to Redmond, Oregon in 2005 she began substituting at Terrebonne Elementary, Tom McCall Elementary and Tumalo Elementary. She was employed at Tumalo Elementary at the time of her death.
She was also involved in home schooling organizations and Cub Scouts. Holly had many hobbies and interests. She was an avid scrapbooker, cardmaker and enjoyed gardening. She enjoyed singing and playing the piano. Holly loved spending time with her many friends. Some people give of themselves and never know the depth of what they have given. Holly will be remembered for her smile, humor and caring spirit.
Contributions may be made to the Holly Davis Memorial Fund at any US Bank for a Memorial to be placed at Tumalo Community School.
