Thank you kindly friends. However, pre-op nixed the surgery this AM as they are afraid that at this time I would not live through it. "Que sera, sera." So I came to the neighbors to get here again. Have had a number of VA surgeries, myself, Scott, so can empathize with you too!

Because no one else has thought to put prayer concerns up for the sister worker in the Leslie White case, I am. I pray that she will continue to have a "good courage" and that doubts would not overpower her. I pray that she also is able to overcome the horrible experience of the violation of her intimate self and that she can return to her choice of life's work and be even better as a sister worker then before her horrible experience.
I also think to pray for Leslie that he would repent and accept what his sentence may well be and start understanding the harm that he has caused this sister worker and even the harm he has caused other victims he may well have had in the past.

Irvine Grey is heading back to Kilifi, on the East Coast of Kenya the first week of Nov. and he needs and requests our prayers. He and his two sons had go there this past April/May and had a very good turnout. But he states he is going alone this time. So he needs our prayers that he stays healthy and whole as well as anointed to speak God's Word to a hungering people.
He also has stated that there is a very demanding need there for a is the need for a building to Victory Baptist Church to provide meeting and feeding facilities for the children of the area, especially the orphans and homeless. And if any wish to donate toward that need, it would be much appreciated. If any wish to donate some money please PM me and I'll try to get a message to Irvine to know where and how he needs the funds mailed. He said the sum of nearly 1/3rd of the building of about 6,000 dollars has already been donated....I pray he gets the funds for that church...they have a large or even one might say a giant need for the building as the poor people in that area out number the not so poor probably more then 2:1.
Thanks.

Irvine Grey said he was very thankful for all of our prayers as he seeks to get into the depths of Africa again for soe missionary work.
I also feel I want to offer prayers for all of our fellow mankind that was in the eye and target of the super storm Sandy! Many lost homes completely, others lost their lives and many have NO electricity even a hospital in NYC had to evacuate all of their 200 patients including a number of babies who were on respirators to other hospitals in NYC simply because their generator failed to function. With no electricity the staff had to carry all the patients down the stairwells on stretchers...this would have been a momentous job considering we're talking about 200 patients...I sure would not have wanted to been a nurse working there!

God answers prayer in the morning God answers prayer at noon God answers prayer in the evening So keep your hear in tune!
James 5:13-18
Is anyone among you suffering? Let him pray. Is anyone cheerful? Let him sing praise. Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer of faith will save the one who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. And if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven. Therefore, confess your sins to one another and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person has great power as it is working. Elijah was a man with a nature like ours, and he prayed fervently that it might not rain, and for three years and six months it did not rain on the earth. Then he prayed again, and heaven gave rain, and the earth bore its fruit. (James 5:13-18 ESV)

Please folks, pray for US Citizens who have and are traveling to Haiti....My sis was supposed to be going over for conv. She planned to be gone 12 days....she used to labor there when she was in the French West Indies ofr over 20 yrs. I think she and others took flight before the state department sent the warning out, so I'm really scared....I think one couple that goes down every year, the Spinogle's, were part of the bunch....you may remember the Spinogle's own Redbud Canyon where retired and disabled workers live near Okla. City! They also own the conv. grounds I think, and the conv. house is part of their business there in Haiti but used for conv. once a year.

Just wanted to let some of our friends know that my granddaughter, Camdyn Jones, age 8, was admitted to the Children's Hospital in NE Florida last night due to a flare-up of her ulcerative colitis condition diagnosed last year. She was becoming dehydrated and her vitals are not good. Doctors also suspect she may be septic due to her blood work. My daughter, Julie, and husband, James, are really stressed out over this along with the rest of the family. Please keep her in your prayers and thoughts in hope that our God will be gracious and show mercy over this situation and intervene on her behalf. It's so hard to see our children and grandchildren suffer like this, as it's hard to understand the reason for all these trials? However, I trust God will show compassion and mercy and will touch Camdyn in a special way, restoring her health. We really need a miracle right now and your prayers would be valued very much. Thanks again for being such good friends here on TMB ~ although I'm new over here. Since we have things in common in our past, I would value your prayers at this time.
Sincerely,
Faune

I just wanted to give you an update on my granddaughter, Camdyn Jones, age 8, who was hospitalized recently due to a flare-up of ulceratis colitis.
She's improving as a result of many antiobiotics and IV's with steroids to help inflamation of large intestine. She had a very high fever of 105-106 F. and unstable vitals, which had everyone worried. She was going into shock when the ER doctors finally admitted her to the Children's Hospital Monday night. They were afraid that she might be septic due to the large intestine being inflamed and high fever, and treated her with some strong antibiotics to counter this problem. She's still weak but improving with treatment. Please keep my little Camdyn in your prayers along with family, as she's truly precious to us all and this was a life threatening event.
Thanks much for your concern and prayers, which gives me strength at this time. Makes me thankful for good friends who have your back when hard times come your way!

Great news! My granddaughter, Camdyn, got to go home today after 7 days at the Children's Hospital in Florida. She's feeling better, but still on a lot of med's. Please keep her and the family in your prayers, as this has been a real nightmare for everyone and a real scary relapse. However, God be praised that she's finally back home and can return to some normal existence outside of the hospital.

Dennis Jacobsen has asked for our prayers as he waits for a pacemaker...his pulse is reportedly down to in the 30's and I'm sure when it's like that he would feel quite low!
Here's prayers for you, Dennis!

someone mentioned that RonHall is under hospice care at present. My prayers for Ron Hall and asking for other prayers that he might be able to handle his present trials well. There Not quite! There was talk about that while I was in the hospital due to renal failure but I recovered better than expected. Am doing quite well on a dialysis regimen at the local kidney center. It is quite a huge commitment of time - three four-five hour sessions each week - but there really isn't another option. Another constraint is that with all the doctoring and 'witches brew' of medications I'm required to take, I haven't felt I should be driving except on a very limited basis for the past year. Since this burden shifts to my wife, we decided she should purchase a new car specifically for her. Her choice was a small imported SUV that fits her and the tiny doctor office parking spaces, has 4wd and is high enough that entrance and egress is easy. She made an excellent choice and we are both happy with it. My problem with drowsiness is slowly subsiding, as the doctors said it would. Presently I limit my solo driving forays to the two miles of secondary road to the nearest town. Hopefully within a few weeks I will feel comfortable with an added five-six miles to the kidney center. On another tack, I often wonder why I have been given so much 'borrowed' time even though I'm not particularly old; just in my late 60's and in seemingly wonderful health until all this came up. So I have much time to review the course my life has taken, musing especially on incidents that turned out not so good. It is then that even if I could somehow get everyone who was involved together with the purpose of 'straightening' things out, the result would just be as 'FILTHY RAGS' to the mindset of God. But I need not worry, since Jesus has already paid the price for my sin with his blood at Calvary. That is my only hope for eternity. Any little annoyances that have accumulated with professing are just 'chump change' when compared with the hope that has been given to me. I'm talking about many of the things discussed on this forum -- hair length, number of holes for legs in pants, need for a neck tie to be worn to meeting, putting up with long, boring testimonies that seem to go no place in meeting, expectation that 'worldly' things such as television be not allowed in our homes, etc. These are such a small sacrifices when taken patiently compared with the renewed hope within us. Daily choose well and daily choose wisely! It is my choice each day how I want to deal with the restraints professing in this way places on my life. So, while I'm truly thankful for any prayers on my behalf, more than my health would be restored, it is more important to pray that my head be screwed on straight.

Ronhall ~ just want you to know that you're also in my prayers and thoughts tonight. I know only too well what you mean about enjoying good health until recently in your late 60's when things took a sudden downhill twist. I had a similar experience in the last couple years in my early 60's, so I can truly sympathize with your ordeal. Also, glad to hear that dialysis is working for you these days and you're starting a new regimen that may extend your life span more into the future. It's also encouraging to hear you keep faith alive in your heart and your sense of humor is still intact. Both are priceless possessions when the going gets rough and you have to shift gears a lot to keep on the journey of life. Take care of yourself and may God's best be yours each and every day of your allotted time here on earth!
