Criticizing Jason's spelling is ridiculous, especially if the intent is to suggest he is stupid because he clearly is not. We may have had contentious differences of opinion on many occasions, but I've come to know him as both articulate and intelligent.

But I guess right now Christianity has bigger problems, which is to try to explain the 'Trinity-Doctrine' and why we even need it, or what 'spelling' is the correct one, English or American? All the while we are herded to extermination. You got that right.... the general public is walking around right now with their hands held out in front waiting for the handcuffs.... worried about whither they will offend someone if they say the wrong thing about someone who wants to handcuff them. Sooner or later it will come down to what they believe in.... DO YOU BELIEVE IN JESUS OR ALAH? What are you going to say? Depends on your definition of the trinity doctrine? Can we just get along? I love you and do not have any hatred in my soul for you! ((((KaBOOM...)))) whew, you and ariandgabe are getting worked up! Don't go ((((KaBoom!))) on us ok?

I can disagree with someone's views without wanting to ban them. Again, it is not my board. But kicking someone off who spent decades in the work and has knowledge of the inner workings of the system seems plain DUMB!!

Stingray, who do you think has been banned? It has been my observation that the moderators of this board are V-E-R-Y slow to ban anyone -- in fact, there's only one person I personally know of who has been banned, and that was after months of warnings.

So, would you say Edgar was excommunicated -- or -- Edgar excommunicated himself? I guess what I'm really asking, is excommunication an active or a passive process?

But kicking someone off who spent decades in the work and has knowledge of the inner workings of the system seems plain DUMB!! Edgar has not been 'kicked off' the board. He and I emailed each other about this issue. Someone was trying to hijack his account, and his account is now in a 'reserved' status should he wish to register it again. From Edgar: Hi Someone has reopened an account in my name -- As far as I can see without posting .. but I don't want someone writing posts in my name.
I have no hard feelings but have decided to, perhaps that at the moment at least, spend my 'hobby time', doing something else.
Edgar Massey
Just trying to clear up any confusion on the issue. Scott

Sounds like the type of absurd comment Edgar would claim about the U.S. - but as many of us know, Edgar has a history of making absurd comments in general. I agree with your "voice of reason" remark . . . . he was never one of those. If he has truly left for good, I certainly won't miss him.

Hey there FS - I've been busy with RL so I do drift away and back from time to time. ;D
Yes - I've seen Star Trek and I really enjoyed it, even though I'm not a ST fan. I've also seen Wolverine and Terminator Salvation (T4). Enjoyed both of those as well. I'll be heading back to see them again sometime soon with my son this time.
I take it you've seen ST already? I thought they did a really good job with all the characters and the dude who played Kirk acted so much like him - especially at the very end when he was walking into the Captain's Deck, he did that little head bobble that Shatner used to do. LOL. The entire cast was great, imo.
