read the New Testament, chronologically with me??? I need something to stay motivated (my beliefs should be way more than enough, yet they don't seem to be!!! ) I need to stay inspired. We can just PM, or...if there would be 3/4 we could discuss right here on this board. I don't care how often we do how many chapters, etc. Someone else could make those decisions..I'm up for anything. I want to get reading again, but I want someone to converse with about it as well...who is reading the same. BTW, when I say chronologically, I mean we will just have to pick a site and go with what they say....(there is a thread I started on here that have places like that listed....links to the sites) as each site says different books were written at different times. Many are similar, but they are pretty much all different from one another. Anywhooooo..any takers? Michelle

I suggest buying a Harmony of the Gospels in whatever version you like to read...then you could go right through that part, reading together Matt thru John which all report on/cover the same thing: Jesus life and public ministry.
I started this study a year ago and found is utterly fascinating.

Hey there Mich, I am planning on starting a study back up. My idea was to do a topic study this time. I was hoping to get more people involved that way. Maybe start the thread on the main board and then move it over here. I had thought I would start a study on GRACE and what it means in our lives. Interested? We could also start up another thread here on a book study also. Maybe I should finish off Matthew first??? : Scott

Thanks, Cherie. Sounds good, Scott. I'll go with whatever.....I just would like, for me personally, to have some dedicatd chapters to read. I know myself right now and if I'm being completely honest it makes me look awful..and it IS awful...but I don't have a lot of motivation to read right now. If I have to go searching things out, etc..(topics) I probably won't do it...at this point! I'm hoping to change that! That said, I can finish Matthew on my own (or perhaps someone will still want to do the chronological read thru with me...I still want to do that...for ME) and I will be very interested in seeing what other people have to say about the topics!!! That's a great idea....I love reading others thoughts, but (again, being honest here) I find I don't really have A LOT of my own opinions on some topics yet....I'm just trying to figure it out and slowly get there. Whatever you want to do, I will roll with, but I think I'm going do read thru the gospels...but I will do that on my own. I would love to watch other "topic" discussions here, so do as you will! Mich

Scott, when you get that going then...I have decided I will follow along with whatever study you do..and perhaps get another "book thread" started! Whenever you have time/are ready.... M.
