Where in Scripture did Jesus command the long hair for females rule?
We know about Paul, but if Jesus had a view on this where is it?

Jesus didn't appear to be concerned with such mundane issues. It has been his followers who have historically clouded the message with a host of rules and traditions.

Hi there,
There is a danger in thinking that the Words of Jesus in the Bible are less inspired than the words of Paul. You cannot set the two against each other, or in contradiction, because Jesus said that His apostles would be inspired, and would teach the things that are His (John 14:26, 16:12-14).
In the Saviour's Name, and your service,

Have you come across any one who thinks that the words of Jesus are less inspired than those of Paul?

Dear Melissa,
The poster of this thread seemed to be assuming that, "Well Paul said that, but did Jesus agree?"
Of course He agreed, is my point.
I'm sorry if this was confusing. Have I missed the point?
In Him,
Theo

If Jesus didn't consider it an issue. It is clearly not an issue. Men have laden burdens on other men, and in2x2, significantly more so on women. IMO What is their problem?

How many of them have long hair because of anything that anyone else said? ?

Dear Lovejoy,
Well, Christian's SHOULDN'T think or believe that the Words of Jesus in Scripture are more important or more inspired than the other parts of Scripture, which Paul's writings are called in 2 Peter 3:15-16.
Yours in Christ,
theo
