What will the Judgement Day be like?
Apart from feeling guilty for one's own many sins and trusting in Jesus for forgiveness, what will the Judgement Day be like?
Do you feel confident about salvation?
How should we feel about this?

We should feel however we feel....we should not need to ask others "how should we feel"?. If we take the bible as literal then judgement day will probably be an unknown. If we don't believe in the whole "judgement day " thing...then death just becomes life no longer existing OR a continuation of some sort ( or a gazillion other possibilities). I don't believe in a Judgement. I believe in learning all I can in this life so that whatever happens in my next life (spiritually or physically) I am well equipt. Prolly not the answer you were looking for.......

If we believe in salvation by grace, then there should be no judgement. The only reason that we would be judged is if our salvation is dependant on our works.

It will be a whole lot different than people imagine! For example, according to Revelation, God's people will have been raised and already living with God a thousand years before the judgment day. Given how differently even biblical writers imagined this day, one can only surmise how far off we are after another 2000 years of speculation.

If you believe in once saved always saved, then you can bypass the traditional judgement , and take a ride on a cloud.

Well, the first Judgement is called the 'White Judgement' and this is for saved people. It is not about being saved or not, but about how much 'fruit' they have brought forth, and what their relevant reward will be. There is a later judgement, but I won't say too much about that, as I am not an expert in the area.

No turning back. I wonder why spending time with anyone who would condemn more than 2/3 of all humans to eternal suffering is something to be strived for.

I wonder why spending time with anyone who would condemn more than 2/3 of all humans to eternal suffering is something to be strived for. Just my two cents...I don't think that will be the case. I can't see God can be perfectly just and allow people to be lost merely because they have not heard the gospel.

Sheep to the right. Goats to the left.
That's what it says.
What did you do with your talents?
That depends.......................................................
Belief in Jesus and his forgiveness and how do my actions weigh?
At the end of life we will be judged by how much love is in our heart and how we acted on it.
Yes, I need to believe in that forgiveness...................

Rob: Romans1:19-20 , since what may be known about God is plain to them, because God has made it plain to them. For since the creation of the world God's invisible qualities - his eternal power and divine nature - have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that men are without excuse.

Why would men want an excuse?
This is 2x2 jargon again.
What are you suggesting in your little twisted mind???
We know who will need excuses, don't we?
The ones who have excommunicated others, caused others to exit, played the role of God. Messed up lives................. the list goes on.

I know that Christ will have blotted out repentant sin in my life. I am confident about salvation. I still have the rest of my life ahead of me and that is a sobering thought given the stuff ups Ive made in recent yrs. I also think I will become afraid in the awesome presence of God on that day.
