Like most of us, I am always looking for information on the Internet. Remember when WE were kids and actually used *encylopedias* ? ;D I'm only 35, but I feel like a dinosaur thinking of it! Anyway, I've only started to get back into my Bible again recently, as I've mentioned many times. Many of you have been conscientious for a long time now. If you have any helpful NT links(or general Bible knowledge links) that you use regularly or have bookmarked, feel free to share them here. They could probably benefit a lot of us. M.

Howdy, I haven't read too many books about the bible. Most of the reading I do is from the bible itself. Not knocking what other authors have to say about the bible, but I get worried that what I am reading is something another man feels is the way scripture is to be translated. (I do plan on reading more though, so I am NOT saying it is wrong) I have bible.com bookmarked. When someone quotes a passage from scripture, it is easy for me to pull it up and read for myself what it says. It also allows me to read the whole chapter the passage is from, and to see if the poster is taking something out of context in their post. The really nice thing about it is that often while trying to find something that someone refers to without giving chapter and verse, I find myself reading a lot of other things totally unrelated to the post. More than once (or twice or thrice...) I have found myself absorbed in reading something I come across and totally forget what it was I was originally looking for!!! Pretty funny.... Scott

Scott, I get what you're saying . . . . what I enjoy and appreciate about reading commentaries (or even from "notes" taken at convention) is that they delve into scriptures from a perspective that I might not have thought of before. Kind of like opening new doors, KWIM? I don't always connect with or even agree with certain things I read, but I still enjoy reading them.

Thank you, l33t. I'm starting to *really* get the sense that a lot of you study a LOT more than I do.....

Howdy Pirate boy! I think you are secretly a 2x2.
C'mon, Scott! 'Fess up!
The truth will make you free. How did I ever miss this post from you? I DID 'fess at one time..... maybe that is why I still have a bit of a hang up about reading things that aren't in the bible..... I have read a few other books though, and my wife has a few she wants me to read so she can ask me my opinion about them. (I think so she can then tell me what she thinks of my opinion.... Ha!) ;D Now I DID get to a gospel meeting not too long ago, and I also listened to some workers speak at a funeral service a short time ago, and I DO speak with some workers now and then...... DO YOU THINK THEY ARE AFTER ME? Like I would be a good 'catch'..... Ha!!! Scotty the biker boy
