this is the most awesome song... hey boo... 143 www.youtube.com/watch?v=fk58p1jeCCAI hate the world today. You're so good to me, I know but I can't change. Tried to tell you, But you look at me like maybe I'm an angel underneath, Innocent and sweet Yesterday I cried. You must have been relieved To see the softer side, I can understand how you'd be so confused, I don't envy you. I'm a little bit of everything all rolled into one [Chorus:] I'm a bit-, I'm a lover, I'm a child, I'm a mother, I'm a sinner, I'm a saint, and I do not feel ashamed. I'm your hell, I'm your dream, I'm nothing in between. You know you wouldn't want it any other way. So take me as I am, This may mean you'll have to be a stronger man. Rest assured that when I start to make you nervous, And I'm going to extremes: Tomorrow I will change, And today won't mean a thing I'm a bit-, I'm a lover, I'm a child, I'm a mother, I'm a sinner, I'm a saint, and I do not feel ashamed. I'm your hell, I'm your dream, I'm nothing in between. You know you wouldn't want it any other way. Just when you think you've got me figured out, The season's already changin'. I think it's cool you do what you do And don't try to save me. I'm a bit-, I'm a lover, I'm a child, I'm a mother, I'm a sinner, I'm a saint, and I do not feel ashamed. I'm your hell, I'm your dream, I'm nothing in between. You know you wouldn't want it any other way. I'm a bit-, I'm a tease, I'm a goddess on my knees. When you hurt, When you suffer, I'm your angel undercover. I've been numb, I'm revived, Can't say I'm not alive, You know I wouldn't want it any other way. O-o-o, o-o-o-ooooo O-o-o, o-o-o-ooooo O-o-o, o-o-o-ooooo

This is a place to discuss God and his wishes for us as his children. That includes letting His Son die on the cross for the dumbest, cruelest, most ignorant person that has ever been on this planet. LOVE needs to be the main thing here, even to those that are incapable of showing it or understanding it. Imagine this......As Jesus lay there while being nailed to the cross, he had that same love for the man that was driving those nails in his hands. We don't know what that man felt, but we know that Jesus, in his final hours and in great pain had love for the man....."Father forgive them.....................

Yes, it's a great song, Randy. I never knew the words to that song until just now - can't understand the words when she sings it.

Thanks for your message Pianoman you are sooo right The human mind cannot comprehend what our brother Jesus went through for us, for the drunk on the street, for the bag lady for EVERYONE whether we agree with them or not. I just got back from the most heartfelt and Jesus centered convention I have EVER been to in my life and as soon as I can stop being in awe and get my thoughts togather I will start another post with my notes.

The human mind cannot comprehend what our brother Jesus went through for us, for the drunk on the street, for the bag lady for EVERYONE whether we agree with them or not. Do you really believe this? Many people have died and many in ways worse than being crucified. Since the various methods of death are designed by people I do not understand how you can think the human mind cannot comprehend a crucification.

I don't know, rational, but I'm sure I can't quite comprehend certain types of pain until I have been in that situation...and I'm sure it's the same for many others. Are YOU really! saying that you feel you can fully comprehend what a crucifixion would feel like??? If you are, then that's your right...but I would definitely disagree with you. Btw, there's nothing wrong with what you do...that's not what I'm saying here...but most times I think you ONLY post here to "argue" the opposite point from what the majority often thinks...

I believe that the cruelty comes from the thing that brough many of us here and that is we are humans. We have people from all situations here and there will be disagreements, but that doesn't need to get nasty. Some are here because they found out they were lied to and have different reactions to that, such as anger and resentment. Some are here because they are in denial about the deception and don't like their beliefs attacked. What ever the reason they will write what they will. The sad thing is that I am here in search of unity and cohesion. There is only one thing that matters and that is salvation. Many of the differences that exist are about things that have no bearing on salvation and are only good to detract people from the real deal. I always look at things, even things in the bible and say that if it doesn't affect me today in my relationship with God, then it can't matter. It is too bad that people have to lash out, but here you can remain faceless and be as cruel as you choose, but God knows who we are and I hope that he will touch and soften the hearts of those that have that anger in them and help them to see that if it doesn't affect today's walk with God, it can't be of much importance. Please try and be kind and remember that we would not be discussing a lot of this if we didn't have a Master ( Jesus) that showed love through it all. to comprehend that he was laying on the cross and forgiving the man that was driving the nails through his hands, while it was being done, is more powerful than anything we will ever be asked to do, so please show the love and leave the rest alone. It just takes too much energy to hate................

although most times Im in the minority on this board, I dont take anything posted as a personal attack. I realise this is an anti-f & W board for the most part, and leave it at that. I do however enjoy some of the scriptural discussions here, where the hate is kept in check

I know I've posted them before, but I think they're important enough to repeat. I just hear God's voice speak so loudly to me when I hear them. "I Then Shall Live" Gaither Vocal Band I then shall live as one who's been forgiven. I'll walk with joy to know my debts are paid. I know my name is clear before my Father; I am His child and I am not afraid. So, greatly pardoned, I'll forgive my brother; The law of love I gladly will obey. I then shall live as one who's learned compassion. I've been so loved, that I'll risk loving too. I know how fear builds walls instead of bridges; I'll dare to see another's point of view. And when relationships demand commitment, Then I'll be there to care and follow through. Your Kingdom come around and through and in me; Your power and glory, let them shine through me. Your Hallowed Name, O may I bear with honor, And may Your living Kingdom come in me. The Bread of Life, O may I share with honor, And may You feed a hungry world through me. Some time has passed since my first posts and exposure to this site. It is really too bad that we all, me included, can't conduct ourselves with the dignity of Christ. He is the example to follow and when we get nasty and mean with each other, we depart from his presence. I have had the misfortune to comment to people that took everything as a personal attack, and I think anyone that truely takes the time to read what I wrote will see that I was not attacking, but I got sucked into a conflict and reacted poorly. Jesus merely ignored or tried to answer as easily those that asked questions, but we all know that there were those that asked him questions to try and catch him in a contradiction. Maybe that is what the attacks are about, but I hope that I can keep my dignity and continue my search. I will not engage with others that want to argue and will try and follow my older brother's example. Peace to all Pianoman

I received this one in an email today and thought that I would share it here with you. ---------------
How To Forgive (WOW)
One day a while back, a man, his heart heavy with grief, was walking in the woods. As he thought about his life this day, he knew many things were not right. He thought about those who had lied about him back when he had a job.
His thoughts turned to those who had stolen his things and cheated him.
He remembered family that had passed on. His mind turned to the illness he had that no one could cure. His very soul was filled with anger, resentment and frustration.
Standing there this day, searching for answers he could not find, knowing all else had failed him, he knelt at the base of an old oak tree to seek the one he knew would always be there. And with tears in his eyes, he prayed:
'Lord- You have done wonderful things for me in this life. You have told me to do many things for you, and I happily obeyed. Today, you have told me to forgive. I am sad, Lord, because I cannot. I don't know how. It is not fair Lord. I didn't deserve these wrongs that were done against me and I shouldn't have to forgive. As perfect as your way is Lord, this one thing I cannot do, for I don't know how to forgive. My anger is so deep Lord, I fear I may not hear you, but I pray that you teach me to do this one thing I cannot do - Teach me To Forgive.'
As he knelt there in the quiet shade of that old oak tree, he felt something fall onto his shoulder. He opened his eyes. Out of the corner of one eye, he saw something red on his shirt. He could not turn to see what it was because where the oak tree had been was a large square piece of wood in the ground. He raised his head and saw two feet held to the wood with a large spike through them.
He raised his head more, and tears came to his eyes as he saw Jesus hanging on a cross. He saw spikes in His hands, a gash in His side, a torn and battered body, deep thorns sunk into His head. Finally he saw the suffering and pain on His precious face. As their eyes met, the man's tears turned to sobbing, and Jesus began to speak.
'Have you ever told a lie?' He asked?
The man answered - 'yes, Lord.'
'Have you ever been given too much change and kept it?'
The man answered - ' yes. Lord.' And the man sobbed more and more.
'Have you ever taken something from work that wasn't yours?' Jesus asked? And the man answered - 'yes, Lord.'
'Have you ever sworn, using my Father's name in vain? '
The man, crying now, answered - 'yes, Lord.'
As Jesus asked many more times, 'Have you ever'? The man's crying became uncontrollable, for he could only answer - 'yes, Lord.'
Then Jesus turned His head from one side to the other, and the man felt something fall on his other shoulder. He looked and saw that it was the blood of Jesus. When he looked back up, his eyes met those of Jesus, and there was a look of love the man had never seen or known before.
Jesus said, 'I didn't deserve this either, but I forgive you.'
It may be hard to see how you're going to get through something, but when you look back in life, you realize how true this statement is.
Read the following first line slowly and let it sink in.
If God brings you to it - He will bring you through it.
Lord I love You and I need You, come into my heart, today. For without You I can do nothing. When Jesus died on the cross, he was thinking of you! If you are one of the 7% who will stand up for him, forward this with the Title 7.%
93% of people won't forward this.

“Two roads oh man before you lie, ..”
There are many today who ‘find a way’ to introduce the Bible to the masses that it would not offend them. A little tweak here and a little ‘cut’ there and whala, they flock to you as flies do to a dead carcass. Christians become the ‘devils advocate’, in order to ‘reach’ more people, as if God wanted ‘quantity’ instead of ‘quality’.
A sure sign of ‘being the devils advocate’ is when those that hate the Bible and demean our God start to pat you on the back. Knowing that these people have one thing on their mind, it is to destroy whatever little faith might still be found on earth. To take sides with such people and still claim Christianity as your religion is apostasy.
Oh, but why the cruelty?
“I say this to your shame. Is it so, that there is not a wise man among you, not even one, who will be able to judge between his brethren?”
Does any Christian actually believe that Christ never offended anyone?
Yes, it is true He was gentle and kind, He healed the sick, raised the dead, preached to love those that hate us, to give to those in need without bounds, to serve instead of being served, to forgive those that come to us with a repented heart and ask for our forgiveness seventy times seven times a day if needed be, and to forgive those that obviously don’t know God, of their wickedness against us knowing that they are walking in darkness and ‘don’t know what they do’, so WHY is it that the three short years that He was here, so many wanted to kill Him?
Every turn there was danger awaiting Him, and He warned those that follow Him to ‘consider the cost’ before they make up their mind to do so, so that they would not fall to shame not being able to ‘complete what they have started’. Why? What can anyone find me against Jesus that would convict Him of wrongdoing? Yet, they wanted ‘to kill Him the more’.
I am truly at awe at some so-called-Christians here, that they refuse to see that even though Jesus was TRULY a righteous man, that HE STILL OFFENDED. Why?
Look at WHO it is that were offended; ‘Those that thought themselves to be righteous’.
Look at who were NOT offended; ‘Those that were convicted of their sins’
2 Cor 6:3-10 3 We give no offense in anything, that our ministry may not be blamed. 4 But in all things we commend ourselves as ministers of God: in much patience, in tribulations, in needs, in distresses, 5 in stripes, in imprisonments, in tumults, in labors, in sleeplessness, in fastings; 6 by purity, by knowledge, by longsuffering, by kindness, by the Holy Spirit, by sincere love, 7 by the word of truth, by the power of God, by the armor of righteousness on the right hand and on the left, 8 by honor and dishonor, by evil report and good report; as deceivers, and yet true; 9 as unknown, and yet well known; as dying, and behold we live; as chastened, and yet not killed; 10 as sorrowful, yet always rejoicing; as poor, yet making many rich; as having nothing, and yet possessing all things. NKJV
I would never take ‘offense’ of anyone pointing out my faults and especially my sins. But instead of the thanks to those that shed light on our sins, we hate them for it.
What is it that you think is meant by: ‘tribulations, in needs, in distresses, in stripes, in imprisonments, in tumults’ to mean if you have the approval of those in the World and those who love sin? Why would they ‘beat you and scourge you’ if you have never done anything wrong?
Are you saying Jesus was a sinner who ‘deserved’ to be punished, then you miss the whole point of His death. He died BECAUSE He was righteous. You still don’t see it? Why would the ‘world hate you’ if you are innocent of crime or any offense?
My God, please open those eyes that have been sealed shut, so they would see that; IT IS BECAUSE we shine the light on SIN that we are hated for. This is why we are to arm ourselves, but with WHAT?
Eph 6:14-17 14 Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness, 15 and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; 16 above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. 17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God;NKJV
You see this? We are to defend ourselves, but look at what it is that we use as a ‘sword’?
“… the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God”.
What is a sword used in war for? Obviously it is to kill, no? To kill the ‘flesh’ from sin.
So if anyone is offended at the Word of God, it is because they remain in sin. Those that have crucified the flesh of sin (repented), and who have died to sin (baptized) can no longer be affected by this Sword for it is no longer ‘against’ us but ‘with’ us.
Yes, we are to judge each others conduct, so we would not let even a little leaven in:
1 Cor 6:2-6 2 Do you not know that the saints will judge the world? And if the world will be judged by you, are you unworthy to judge the smallest matters? 3 Do you not know that we shall judge angels? How much more, things that pertain to this life? 4 If then you have judgments concerning things pertaining to this life, do you appoint those who are least esteemed by the church to judge? 5 I say this to your shame. Is it so, that there is not a wise man among you, not even one, who will be able to judge between his brethren? 6 But brother goes to law against brother, and that before unbelievers!NKJV
I understand those that have never known God to hate a Christian, because they don’t yet understand what they hate him for. But to have someone called a Christian take offense when another Christian reveals their weaknesses and sins is a deep rooted problem indeed.
Here are some beautiful verses to remind us of our purpose:
1 Peter 4:14-19 14 If you are reproached for the name of Christ, blessed are you, for the Spirit of glory and of God rests upon you. On their part He is blasphemed, but on your part He is glorified. 15 But let none of you suffer as a murderer, a thief, an evildoer, or as a busybody in other people's matters. 16 Yet if anyone suffers as a Christian, let him not be ashamed, but let him glorify God in this matter.
17 For the time has come for judgment to begin at the house of God; and if it begins with us first, what will be the end of those who do not obey the gospel of God? 18 Now
"If the righteous one is scarcely saved, Where will the ungodly and the sinner appear?"
19 Therefore let those who suffer according to the will of God commit their souls to Him in doing good, as to a faithful Creator.NKJV

I guess that when I wrote the "conduct in posts" I had forgotten about this thread. Well, the post preceding mine is one of the answers to the question. I have trouble reading this guys "God revealed it to me" babbling, without having a great anger start boiling up in me, then I remember that this is what his intentions are. He and his friend ddowdy are so obnoxious that they could make anyone come unglued. They resort to name calling and vicious attacks on anyone that disagrees with them and Mr dowdy is always mentioning cool aid like he is fixated on it. I an not a 2x2, but Mr dowdy has me as one, and I know that he and his friend "oden" ( a Greek god name ) are two of the leaders of the nasty bunch. Also when this was posted, it attracted many "people" that have shown "Why the cruelty" just in their answers and then those of us that wish for peace and healing have come out to try to express our side and we probably are just wasting our time.
Some wrote, " the poor will be with you always" and so will the jerks.
I don't think that is name calling, that is pointing out that we will have the "Experts" That really believe that they are sent from God to "deliver" us fools from ourselves and our faulty thinking with us always. We are warned about them in the scripture.
How do you spell Anti-Christ? Read these angry posts and you will know.
I wish Peace to ALL, your humble, confused, backward thinking, Pianoman

Thank the Lord and you Pianoman, I am so sorry the way our correspondents turned out my friend, this was NOT the way I intended it. Like you said at one time; 'ignorance prevails', and with it even the most knowledgeable (which I'm far from) can turn Spiritual wisdom into hurtful words that can create animosity between believers. My soul is sickened when I see what my use of words has achieved.
I believe this is why the Lord has opened my eyes to the abuse I lived through, because it is evident that it has dominated my life for a long time.
I do have a lot of anger and confusion built up in me. I pray to God through Christ that you can forgive me, and that I could understand why the Lord has kept me alive all these years, what purpose could coming through such nightmare have for me?
I know that I have a choice, to let my built up anger destroy those who did this to me, (and probably destroy everyone I cared for along with it) or shower them with love, returning good for evil (which I know is the right thing to do).
Love has to be my only choice, I owe it to my God and to His beloved Son, who also suffered without a cause. I now know how that feels.
In Jesus loving name: Odon

Dear Oden, my friend, I have tears in my eyes as I write this.
I have been abused all my life also, but instead of striking back in anger, I try to reach out a hand in love. Isn't that what Jesus did, and we are only trying to be like him.
Forgiveness is like judging. If you don't forgive, you can't be forgiven. Please read the verses in Matthew after the sermon on the mount and have this thought in mind.
I can not refuse to forgive you or anyone, as I need forgiveness. I also can not refuse to love any one, because I need to be loved. Please forgive me also, as I am sure I didn't deal with it well either.
A great lesson for both?? This is how we learn, in my humble opinion,
I wish the peace of God to you and all others, Humbly pianoman

It took longer than 6 seconds. The towers had steel girders which as you say is very strong. However, code regulations prevented the application of the customary protective asbestos coating. When the girders were superheated (which can occur when jets nearly full of super flammable fuel crash and burn) they became weak and then collapsed. As Rational points out the collapse was entirely predictable even inevitable. I would maintain that this is more attributable to the fire and heat rather than the impact sustained. However nothing in the facts suggests anything approaching the type of conspiracy you are alleging.
On a personal note...what the hell is "rumpy pumping"? Sorry, my bad...Thank you Scott.

On a personal note...what the hell is "rumpy pumping"? Sorry, I am not up on code lingo...When posting here, there are certain words that are automatically censored by the board. 'rumpy pumpy' and rumpy pumping' are the replacements for about 15 various words most which start with the letter 'F'. A few of the words seem to be kind of humorously replaced, and sometimes when reading what someone posts, there will suddenly be a word that is totally out of context with what they are saying and will look rather strange. Rational wrote about Jesus' crucifixion:
Since the various methods of death are designed by people I do not understand how you can think the human mind cannot comprehend a crucification. want to be with God answered:
I don't know, rational, but I'm sure I can't quite comprehend certain types of pain until I have been in that situation...and I'm sure it's the same for many others. Are YOU really! saying that you feel you can fully comprehend what a crucifixion would feel like??? If you are, then that's your right...but I would definitely disagree with you.
Now I don't want anyone to think me cruel since that is the topic of this fine thread but Rational if you would like to do a scientific test in order to be certain that you could comprehend the pain of a crucifixion...I humbly volunteer to crucify you. I will even help with the experiment. For example, do I feel badly about crucifying rational? All we have to do to get this done is have you sign a waiver and an admission both of which I also volunteer to draft at no charge.
Always willing to serve...D.
