i often find the longer ones too much to keep me interested. other times, they are very interesting, and i am enthralled by them, no matter how long.... but my favorites are the shorter ones overall.. just depends... but there have been some that were just wayyyyyy too long .... unless they grabbed my attention..

If I come upon a lengthy post I just skip over it. I cannot hold my attention long enough to read most because many times they copy and paste someone elses words or just an article anyways.
Another thing that makes posts really hard to follow is when people dont break them up into paragraphs. Its very easy to lose your place reading.

Sometimes I write short posts and sometimes long ones. Sometimes I read short ones and sometimes long ones. I guess there are times when I feel led to read or write longer ones...and I feel there is a good reason. Other times, I skip over too...hmmm...just let the Spirit guide you. That long post that doesn't interest me was likely not for me anyway. I couldn't vote, because I don't see it as a matter of preference. Each thread and post is individual. Blessings, Linda

can trolls vote ? It is my understanding that people should not be considered trolls just because they do not agree with you. We like men who have open minds. Who can see both sides of an issue. Who have more than one thing on their minds.

True, that. I also like someone who is familiar with the equipment (all the equipment!) and knows how it works! But then, that's just me. And sometimes I like it to be all about me!

Well, pft. that's a given. (except for the ALL the equipment bit. THAT part sounds suspiciously familiar tho!!!) lol. *waves*

*Oh my I really MUST get to work here!!! OFF the computer, OFF NOW!* but first... Ummmm...it's not THAT so much. You know, I've noticed that men WANT a good girl....well, outwardly. But...something entirely different in the bedroom! We do have to *learn* these things SOMEWHERE you are aware? So....either be happy that we know and don't enquire all over the place how we learned it ('nother discussion, I know...that you didn't say anything about this bit) or....teach us, for crying out loud!!! ;D Me personally, I'm not gonna be graphic...but I do *just* fine, thanks...but, I'm sure there's always more to learn.... M., unlogged.

Stop it! You know, I've noticed that men WANT a good girl....well, outwardly. But...something entirely different in the bedroom! No, no, no. What we want is that beautiful personality to remain the same. If you were outgoing and talkative, don't be suddenly shy and reserved. Don't take off your personality with your clothes. Thankee ma'am.

Don't take off your personality with your clothes. Thankee ma'am. Are you saying, in effect, "Just take off your clothes?"

Talk about the fallacy of logic known as that of too few options! For some from some, no post can be too long, just as for some, from some, no post can be too short. The inverse will be also true: for some from some every post is too long, and for some from some, every post is too short.
Thank you Linda for your words of reason and wisdom once again. For those who's attention span is just too short to read anything of length, how sad. Don't really believe it though, suspecting it is really a matter of both interest and desire.

looks like we'll need a poll on how many times to make the same post in a thread....

Howdy, For me it all depends on who the poster is. There are some who post here that I tend to totally skip over no matter how long or short the post. I glance at it as I scroll by. Others who post here I read in entirety what they have to say, because the words have meaning. Scott

All words have meaing, Scott. Perhaps you should have said: "Have meaning for me".
