If Hunter Biden has broken the law (with real evidence, not just what you imagine), he should pay. Cheap shots at someone who has struggled with addiction are just that, cheap shots. I can feel compassion for Donald Trump. He went through hell as a kid and did what he needed to do to survive. I believe he is a malignant narcissist as a result of his upbringing, and though I can feel compassion for him, I also believe he is unfit to be anywhere near the levers of governmental power, and unfit for access to state secrets. A more balanced understanding. They all do it. Ivanka and Jared are next on the list of 'entitled kids who use the name of their father to make shady business deals'.

Yes, I had read about it. Color me impressed! I just glanced and it's on multiple news outlets across the spectrum. I'm legitimately surprised - I didn't figure that it would make headlines outside of a few small mentions. I don't even think Hunter was at the White House during the time it was discovered - he came w/ family later. The conspiracy part of me wonders if it was a right wing person in a group who dropped the packet, knowing Hunter would be arriving shortly after, and wanting to create a 'bad publicity' news story out of nothing. Has this kind of thing ever happened before? Bizarre story! I generally have to fact check your posts because you, apparently, do not. After awhile, it becomes tiresome.

It probably does get tiresome trying to justify your preconceived conclusion that I am wrong by default. Save yourself the trouble and ignore them please. For both of our sakes. Perhaps I should just block you.... then you could also have something in common with Nathan? At least I was/am able to acknowledge I was wrong about something (my assumption the story wouldn't be covered). That's more than I get in return. I only have previous experience, which was why I figured they'd downplay the news (like the laptop for instance, which was just some nonsense Ipsedixit believed after all... until it wasn't. But not a word of acknowledgement. Used to it though. One thing is for sure - you kept certain professing qualities).

I don't always get it right, and I do not expect others to always get it right. In this case, it's a matter of scale. I only scratched the surface of the problematic assertions in your recent posts, so I'm not in the mood to congratulate you for acknowledging the couple of problems I pointed out when so many others were left (and will remain) unchallenged. If you want discussion, I suggest you lead with fact-checked facts. If you remain sloppy with 'facts', then don't be surprised when people stop engaging with you.

I'd settle for decent human beings to interact with that don't get offended by a joke and righteously tell me "F-u!". Were you under the impression that Bidens laptop was "Russian Disinformation"? Anyone who thought it was real was told to "check their facts". Because the leftist news organizations all said it was a Russian Disinformation campaign. But it was verified as authentic before the 2020 election. So you see the problem with telling me to only post "fact checked facts". If you mean only "facts that check out with what MSNBC feeds me", you'll be at continual odds with reality. Or maybe, to you, "opinions I disagree with" equates to "things that aren't true". I suspect this is mostly the case, so I request again, kindly ignore my posts and save us both the trouble of responding to each other's drivel.

You wondered, I answered, so be it. To use the old phrase, "it is what it is". I'm weary. I'll try to provide citations when I make a claim. I do try, but not always do people like my sources. And I have opinions about things, as we all do. I'll try to be clear about when something is an opinion or speculation on my part. Mostly I'm just too weary any more to care. Going to go remove some burrs from our cats and listen to the locusts. Best to you.

Enjoy your fantasy its all you got. ;) If you declare me to be wrong, there should be no problem with me publishing the name of the guy who "isn't you"! Just a random 2x2 Schmo in Western Washington who fits the description. What do you think? What I don't understand is why you can't just acknowledge and celebrate the intense interconnectedness of the 2x2s. It is one of the remarkable characteristics of the group. As someone who has never lived in Washington State, but whose extended family is 6 generations deep in the state's 2x2s, it wasn't at all surprising to me that my connections could ID you based on information that you have shared about yourself. That was my point three years ago... that sharing what might seem like obscure details about someone on TMB who prefers to remain anonymous can potentially ID the person in the "right" hands.

www.foxnews.com/politics/fox-news-press-pool-report-contradicts-claim-biden-family-white-house-cocaine-discovery"White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre's claim that no members of the Biden family were present at the White House in the days leading to the discovery of a bag of cocaine in the West Wing has been contradicted by the Fox News press pool report on one of those very days. According to the Friday, June 30 pool report, Biden gave remarks in the Roosevelt Room that afternoon, and didn't depart the White House for Camp David until 6:34 p.m., along with First Lady Jill Biden, Hunter Biden, and Hunter's son Beau Biden. However, Jean-Pierre claimed Friday while angrily responding to a reporter's question about whether the cocaine belonged to a member of the Biden family that they weren't present at the White House on that day. "They were not here Friday. They were not here Saturday. They were not here Sunday. They were not even here Monday. They came back on Tuesday. So to ask that question is actually incredibly irresponsible. And I'll just leave it there," she said. The White House did not immediately respond to Fox's request for comment." Disregarding everything else, I feel really bad for Karine Jean-Pierre. Imagine trying to do her job.

I wonder if she understands that discovering it one day doesn't mean it might not have sitting there for awhile? I know "my question is actually incredibly irresponsible."... 😂 Considering she already was wrong about it once, and considering they've just updated to say it was on the lower floor cubby (which aren't accessible to public tours, only private tours and white house guests) and considering that Hunter Biden was in fact there Friday afternoon... I'd say it's a responsible question. I'm of two minds - I hope it's not his for his and his family's sake. They've got a lot of trouble on their horizon - this is the last thing any of them need. But it's an unusual thing to find at the White House. Even someone on a tour wouldn't be dumb enough to bring in cocaine and just leave it. It suggests that it was someone who wasn't anticipating being searched or questioned, and who may have been counting on being able to return at some point to retrieve it. And when you consider Hunter was there Friday afternoon and him and his family returned at the beginning of the week.... It's a fair question.

www.nbcnews.com/politics/congress/secret-service-briefs-house-oversight-members-cocaine-found-white-hous-rcna94045Oh bummer. No leads. Couldn't get any fingerprints or DNA. Not "we couldn't match the fingerprints or DNA we recovered from the bag to any database. The perp must not be in the database." (which would be reasonable - many people aren't). No. Just "not enough DNA" and "no fingerprints". Also "no security footage". Just consider that. This was found in a cubby where people store things who are going on private tours, OR are guests in the White House. This wasn't found in the public tour area. Taking them at face value, this means that... -> they have no logs of who put items in a cubby when they were visiting the white house. -> they do not have security video of who puts what in a cubby when they visit the white house (as a private guest or for a private tour) -> they could not lift DNA off of a bag of cocaine..... -> they could not lift fingerprints either..... I would think this was unacceptable if this was a Chuck-E-Cheese cubby and the investigation was being conducted by the county sheriffs. This is the White House, and the entire resources of the United States are at the disposal of the investigators. The other option - they know exactly whose cocaine it is, but they are lying because they don't want to the news to go public. Those are the two choices. Whatever you do though.... Don't Ask Questions!

Sometimes you just have to walk away..... Firstly, I shouldn't have called folks stupid. There are a variety of adjectives that would apply more accurately, but I'm sure everyone here is perfectly intelligent. Mattise had been begging to find something to be offended by in me when it became clear I was a conservative male. Regardless of anything else, those offend her. From her first snide "mansplaining" comment months ago. Well, as it says, "ask and ye shall receive, seek and ye shall find". I've got no use for that nonsense. She can, with liberal piety, "empathize" with a grifter son who PARTICIPATED IN SEX TRAFFICKING by hiring and abusing foreign prostitutes all while money laundering and influence peddling, lying on gun forms, sleeping with his decreased brothers wife, and who knows what else...... but to make a joke about it gets an "F-u". I don't buy it. It's misplaced moral outrage. I've done it before, I'm ashamed to say. But it's dishonest. Never be "offended" on the behalf of someone who would just as soon r@pe you. (Biden, for instance), or someone who would instantly let you spend your life in jail if it meant he walked free (Trump, for instance). And it's dishonest to transfer the moral indignation on behalf of good people you care about who the "offender" doesn't know either. Being able to mock those who live in gilded cages is one of the last vestiges of freedom we have left. Are the jokes always "winners" for everyone? No. Are they always tasteful? No. Was mine? No. But just scroll past and do what you claimed earlier - ignore my posts because of the effort it takes to find out why you disagree with them. IMO, you have been posting like a political troll looking for a fight. I pushed back and you stormed off in a huff.

There's no need - it's preposterous enough on its own! The "normal people" examples are just window dressing. Either cover-up or incompetence. It's there another option?
