Now replace "Catholicism" with "2x2ism". What does chatGPT say when when you do that? Or if you ask it if the fellowship is a cult?

Now replace "Catholicism" with "2x2ism". What does chatGPT say when when you do that? Or if you ask it if the fellowship is a cult? CHAT-GPT doesn't "yet" know about the secret sect, as it's still a youngster. But it will grow fast. Once it learns about the 2x2, I guess it may also add "clergy sleep overs" and as an additional higher risk factor. I will have to ask CHAT-GPT if it can design an even more risky religious system for it's adherents. I for one can't come up with one.

Here is what Chat GPT says
However, it's important to remember that not all members of the Two by Two Church have the same experiences, and individual perspectives may vary. Some individuals find meaning and fulfillment within the group, while others may feel that their involvement has been harmful or manipulative. Ultimately, whether the Two by Two Church is considered a cult or not depends on an individual's interpretation and understanding of the term.
If you have any specific concerns or questions about the beliefs or practices of the Two by Two Church, it's advisable to gather information from multiple sources, speak to individuals with different perspectives, and make your own informed judgment.

Here is more from Chat GPT
The Christian denomination commonly known as the "2x2" is officially called The Two by Twos, The Truth, The Way, or The Cooneyites. It is a non-denominational Christian group that emerged in the late 19th century and is characterized by its simplicity and adherence to what they consider to be the New Testament pattern of church organization and worship.
The name "2x2" or "Two by Twos" is derived from the biblical passage in Mark 6:7, where Jesus sent out his disciples two by two. The Cooneyites, on the other hand, is a term often used to refer to the group based on the surname of one of its early leaders, William Irvine, although the term is less commonly used today.
The Cooneyite movement started in Ireland in the early 1900s and later spread to other parts of the world. They emphasize the importance of personal relationships and communal living, rejecting formal church structures, ordained clergy, and church buildings. Services are held in homes or rented halls, with lay ministers called "workers" leading the gatherings.
The beliefs of the 2x2s are focused on a literal interpretation of the New Testament teachings, particularly the Gospels. They believe in a simple lifestyle, modesty, non-materialism, and often practice pacifism. They place a strong emphasis on evangelism and missionary work, with workers often traveling from place to place, relying on the hospitality and support of local believers.
Due to their decentralized structure and emphasis on personal relationships, the 2x2s have various regional practices and interpretations. The level of organizational unity can vary from country to country, and some areas may have more formalized structures than others. It's important to note that individual beliefs and practices can differ among members as well.
While the 2x2s have faced criticisms and controversies over the years, including allegations of cult-like behavior and control, it is essential to approach any assessment or understanding of religious groups with an open mind and respect for individual beliefs.

Here is more from Chat GPT User question: How can you protect yourself from Pedophilia in a church ChatGPT answer. Protecting oneself and others from pedophilia within a church involves implementing proactive measures to create a safe environment. Here are some steps that can be taken: Background checks: Conduct thorough background checks on all individuals, including clergy, staff, volunteers, and anyone in direct contact with children. This can help identify any past instances of misconduct. Screening procedures: Establish clear and rigorous screening procedures for all individuals involved with the church, including interviews, reference checks, and verification of qualifications. Training and education: Provide comprehensive training programs to all staff and volunteers about recognizing signs of child abuse, appropriate behavior, and reporting protocols. This can include workshops on child protection, boundaries, and appropriate interactions with minors. Code of conduct: Develop a code of conduct that outlines expected behavior for all individuals involved with the church, emphasizing appropriate boundaries, interactions, and reporting obligations. Make sure everyone understands and signs the code of conduct. Supervision and accountability: Implement proper supervision mechanisms, especially when children are involved. Maintain adequate adult-to-child ratios and ensure that interactions are visible and observable. Encourage an open-door policy and foster an environment where concerns can be reported without fear of reprisal. Reporting procedures: Establish clear reporting procedures for suspected child abuse or inappropriate behavior. Encourage individuals to report any concerns promptly, and ensure that reports are taken seriously and addressed promptly. Confidentiality and support: Maintain confidentiality for individuals who report concerns while ensuring their safety. Provide support and resources for victims and their families, including access to counseling services. Regular reviews: Conduct regular reviews of policies and procedures to ensure they are up-to-date and effective. Stay informed about best practices and any legal requirements related to child protection. Cooperation with authorities: Cooperate fully with law enforcement agencies and child protection services if allegations arise. Follow legal protocols and provide all necessary assistance to ensure a thorough investigation. Cultivate a culture of safety: Foster a culture within the church community that prioritizes the safety and well-being of children. Encourage open communication and vigilance, and address any concerns promptly and transparently. It is important to note that these measures should be part of a broader child protection policy that involves collaboration with professionals, legal experts, and relevant authorities to create a safe environment for all members of the church community, especially children.

Here is more from Chat GPT ... Hey FHC, @ring, can you get ChatGPT to give us a few 15-20 minute worker sermons for gospel mission? No exegetic preaching, by the way! We've created a thread of its own for anyone interested in delving more into the rabbit-hole of ChatGPT and the 2x2s (F&W, Cooneyites & Message People - there's a challenge): professing.proboards.com/thread/32034/chatgpt-ai-2x2-grouping-churches

Now I checked using the correct name: William IRVINE Ring asked: Tell me about the preacher William Irvine ChatGPT said....
William Irvine (1863-1947) was a Scottish evangelist and the founder of a Christian movement known as the Two by Two's, also referred to as the Cooneyites or the Irvineites. He was born on January 19, 1863, in Kilsyth, Scotland. Irvine was raised in a devout Christian family and was influenced by his mother's strong faith.
In the late 1890s, William Irvine embarked on a missionary journey to China, where he preached the gospel and focused on the rural areas. He claimed to have received a divine calling and believed that he was restoring the original form of Christian ministry as practiced by the early apostles.
Upon his return to Ireland in 1897, Irvine began forming small groups of traveling preachers who lived a nomadic lifestyle and relied on the hospitality of their converts for support. This group of itinerant workers, often consisting of two preachers sent out in pairs, became known as the Two by Two's. They would hold meetings in homes, community halls, or outdoors, emphasizing a personal relationship with God and the importance of living a simple and modest life.
Irvine's teachings and the movement he founded gained a significant following, primarily in Ireland, the United Kingdom, Australia, and the United States. The Two by Two's placed a strong emphasis on the New Testament and sought to replicate the early Christian communities described in the Bible. They practiced a form of lay ministry, rejecting formalized religious institutions, paid clergy, and church buildings.
The movement experienced both growth and controversy throughout its history. Some people were attracted to the simplicity and personal nature of the Two by Two's, while others criticized their exclusivity, lack of transparency, and unconventional practices. The movement faced scrutiny and accusations of being a cult or sect, primarily due to its secretive nature and strict hierarchical structure.
William Irvine was eventually expelled from the movement he founded in 1928 due to a disagreement over leadership and doctrinal issues. After his expulsion, he continued to preach independently and established his own following, which became known as the Message People. He spent the remainder of his life traveling and preaching in various countries, including the United States, Canada, and the United Kingdom.
William Irvine passed away on March 9, 1947, in Jerusalem, where he was buried. Today, the Two by Two's or Cooneyites continue as a distinct Christian movement with a presence in multiple countries, albeit with variations in practices and beliefs among different groups.

Asked: What's the harm of belonging to the two by two's? ChatGPT said....
Belonging to the Two by Two's or any other religious group can have both positive and negative aspects, and the specific harm experienced by individuals can vary. It's important to recognize that not all members of the Two by Two's have negative experiences, and some find meaning, community, and personal fulfillment within the group. However, there have been reported concerns and potential harms associated with the Two by Two's:
Isolation and estrangement: The Two by Two's often discourage contact with outsiders, including friends and family members who do not share their beliefs. This can lead to social isolation and strained relationships with loved ones outside the group.
Control and authority: The movement has a hierarchical structure with appointed workers who hold significant authority over members' lives, including decision-making, relationships, and career choices. This control can potentially limit individual autonomy and personal freedom.
Emotional manipulation: Some former members have reported experiencing emotional manipulation within the group. This can involve guilt, fear, and pressure to conform to the expectations and teachings of the movement.
Lack of transparency: The secretive nature of the Two by Two's can create difficulties in obtaining accurate information about the group's practices and beliefs. This lack of transparency can lead to confusion and potential manipulation of members.
Limited education and career opportunities: The itinerant lifestyle and the emphasis on full-time ministry within the movement can limit members' access to education and career development, potentially impacting their long-term prospects.
Financial dependency: The Two by Two's rely on the support of their converts for their basic needs, as they do not have a formalized system of financial support. This can create financial dependency and vulnerability for members.
It's important to note that the experiences within the Two by Two's can vary, and some members may not encounter these negative aspects. However, individuals considering involvement with the group should carefully evaluate the potential risks and consider seeking unbiased perspectives and support before making any commitments.

Having problems finding something for your testimony or need an idea for a prayer? Try Chat-Gpt chat.openai.comAsked: Write a 500 word two by two denomination prayer ChatGPT said:
Heavenly Father, we humbly come before You today as members of the Two by Two denomination, united in faith and bound by the love of Christ. We gather in this sacred space to lift our hearts and voices in prayer, seeking Your presence and guidance in every aspect of our lives. Lord, we thank You for the privilege of belonging to this community of believers. We are grateful for the spiritual partnerships that have been forged, for the encouragement and support we receive from one another. We acknowledge that it is Your divine wisdom that has brought us together, and we pray that You continue to strengthen the bonds of fellowship among us. May our relationships be marked by love, grace, and humility, reflecting the character of Christ in all that we say and do. Father, we confess our shortcomings and failings before You. Forgive us for the times when we have not fully embraced the power of partnership, when we have allowed division or pride to hinder the unity of our community. Help us to lay aside our own agendas and preferences, seeking the greater good and the advancement of Your kingdom. Grant us hearts that are willing to forgive, to reconcile, and to extend grace to one another, just as You have lavished Your grace upon us. Lord, we pray for the leaders and ministers within our Two by Two denomination. Grant them wisdom, discernment, and a deep understanding of Your Word as they guide and shepherd Your flock. Strengthen them with Your Holy Spirit, equipping them to effectively teach, encourage, and inspire the body of believers. May their lives be a living testimony of Your love and grace, and may they find rest and renewal in Your presence. Heavenly Father, we lift up those among us who are facing trials, difficulties, or illness. Comfort them in their afflictions, surround them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, and grant them healing according to Your perfect will. May they experience Your abiding presence and find solace in the support and prayers of their brothers and sisters in Christ. We also remember those outside our community who have yet to know the saving grace of Jesus Christ. Father, we ask that You open their hearts and minds to receive Your truth. Use us as instruments of Your love and grace, that we may be a shining light in a world that so desperately needs You. Empower us to share the Gospel boldly, to live lives that reflect Your love, and to extend a hand of compassion to the broken and hurting. Lastly, Lord, we submit our lives and all that we are to You. Guide our steps, direct our paths, and align our desires with Your perfect will. Fill us afresh with Your Spirit, that we may be vessels of Your love, mercy, and truth wherever we go. May our lives bring glory to Your name and draw others into a life-transforming relationship with You. In the precious name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

A a loss for words on how to pray for pedophile clergy
CHAT-GPT comes to the rescue ....
"Heavenly Father, In this moment of reflection and supplication, we come before you with heavy hearts, mindful of the pain and suffering caused by the actions of those who have abused their positions of trust and authority. We pray for the victims, the innocent souls who have endured deep wounds and scars. Grant them strength, comfort, and the healing they desperately need. Surround them with love, support, and understanding. We humbly ask for your guidance and wisdom to shine light upon those who have strayed from your teachings, engaging in hurtful and destructive behavior. Lead them towards genuine repentance and true understanding of the gravity of their actions. Help them to seek appropriate help, to face the consequences of their deeds, and to make amends where possible. We pray for a world free from abuse, where every child and vulnerable person is protected. Grant us the courage to speak out against injustice and the commitment to create a safer environment within our communities. In your mercy and grace, may healing, restoration, and redemption be found. Amen."

China, I hadn't heard of that one before. But had heard of someone else with a similar name going on a mission to China. It doesn't mention the Faith Mission connection. Go back to school ChatGPT. The China Inland Mission has a passing reference in Cherie's book. What I found interesting is this paragraph where it says that Irvine admitted he started it to get back to the way the gospel was delivered originally. He takes credit for starting the group's movement and no preaching that they go back to the shores of Galilee like we heard from the platform. In the late 1890s, William Irvine embarked on a missionary journey to China, where he preached the gospel and focused on the rural areas. He claimed to have received a divine calling and believed that he was restoring the original form of Christian ministry as practiced by the early apostles.
