** I don't know, I can't read their minds! They must have their reasons for it I guess. Some of us workers didn't care and we stayed in divided homes and a few un-professing husbands and wives professed later on. We treated them as professing people and they appreciated that.

Full marks to you Nathan for doing that, I see that as the correct attitude. One of the duties of Clergy is to unite Families, not divide them. After all people are entitled to be treated the same, no matter their beliefs or non-beliefs. Beliefs are a dime a dozen, people are precious.

All can be answered or will be answered give enough time, prayer, meditation and Revelation. It may come in seconds, hours, days, weeks, months or years.. And your list is wanting its only a couple hundred or so not 50,000 and to jack up that number some are listed twice...

The bible contradicts the geological, astronomical, botanical and Paleontological evidence. Verifiable evidence. Rocks don't lie. Fossils don't lie.

Wally and I have to agree to disagree on the existence of ETs in the world today and yesterday before God created Adam and Eve. I can't change his mind and he can't change mine on that topic so, we just respect each others belief and move on to the scriptures which we AGREE on.

What was the guy expected to do, leave his animals outside? He made a plan & your god tries to make that sound like self serving behaviour. Is there any explanation as to why planning to build a bigger barn made the man a fool? Sounds pretty stupid to me. God called the unbeliever man a FOOL! Because he invested all his time, energy, and efforts living ONLY for himself! No time for God or sharing/helping his wealth with others. He didn't think he was a sinner and did NOT need to be SAVED from his sins. Therefore, spiritually he was poor and had NOTHING in the next life after death but pains, sorrows and regrets before God. God has loan our souls to us for a few short years to live on earth. Ours eternal destiny depend whether we put our faith and Salvation in Jesus or NOT. That still dosent make building a bigger barn to shelter your animals a stupid idea. God would have criticized him for leaving them outside if he hadn't set about with the new barn no doubt.

Luk 12:14 And he said unto him, Man, who made me a judge or a divider over you? Luk 12:15 And he said unto them, Take heed, and beware of covetousness: for a man's life consisteth not in the abundance of the things which he possesseth. Luk 12:16 And he spake a parable unto them, saying, The ground of a certain rich man brought forth plentifully: Luk 12:17 And he thought within himself, saying, What shall I do, because I have no room where to bestow my fruits? Luk 12:18 And he said, This will I do: I will pull down my barns, and build greater; and there will I bestow all my fruits and my goods. Luk 12:19 And I will say to my soul, Soul, thou hast much goods laid up for many years; take thine ease, eat, drink, and be merry. Luk 12:20 But God said unto him, Thou fool, this night thy soul shall be required of thee: then whose shall those things be, which thou hast provided? Luk 12:21 So is he that layeth up treasure for himself, and is not rich toward God. I don't think its much of a stretch to see he was only concerned with this life and not the next that is the moral of the story...

I have to put up a new building to house my ever increasing collection of classic vehicles. I'm also rather fond of being retired, eating, drinking and being merry. One key difference between you & I is that I don't buy into an ancient middle eastern myth that created a God so they had something to fear.

The man wasn't thinking to build a BIGGER barn as a shelter for his animals! but to bestow all his fruits and goods for HIMSELF! and was NOT rich toward God and in helping others.

Are they saying you can't be both? Some 2x2's in my town have absolutely enormous buildings to store their earthly wealth in, and to create more earthly wealth. Their car park would be larger in area than the area of all my properties combined.

Another moral is if you have your soul in order everything else that might happen or you might gain becomes a bonus.

When my b@stard father died in 2007 and we got our inheritance, The first thing on my mind was the above parable...so I invested in my future funeral. I'm good... Within Seven years the inheritance was gone, but my funeral is paid for...

Abraham, King David and Solomon, Zacheus, Joseph Armatheius and so on were Rich men of God. There is NOTHING wrong to be rich and serve God at the same time.
They enjoy both worlds because they have their priorities in the Right Order, God First then all of the rest are secondary goals in their lives. This is the perfect formula for the humans to LIVE and enjoy both worlds, in this life and the next to come.
J= Jesus and God First O= Others second Y= Yourself last

Do you think the guy who's land bore fruit, that had to tear down his barn to build a bigger one to store reserves for himself and his family for the future, and had clearly taken early retirement to chill out was simply lucky? He obviously worked very hard, and was smart with his finances. There's no word in the bible that he won the lottery, or gained a huge inheritance. If a smart man had recieved an inheritance in 2007 it wouldn't have been gone within seven years, it would have been worth around 70% more than when he recieved it, and provided him with financial security for the future. It's a real shame they don't teach that stuff in school.

Speaking of lying...
Did Jesus lie in John 7?
8 Go ye up unto this feast: I go not up yet unto this feast; for my time is not yet full come. 9 When he had said these words unto them, he abode still in Galilee.
10 But when his brethren were gone up, then went he also up unto the feast, not openly, but as it were in secret.
